Ledges at White Mountain Hotel
Had a great dinner celebrating a bday. Seafood chowder was delicious. Got Crab Cakes and Filet Mignon dinners and both were incredible. Beautiful views in the dining room. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a little more upscale dining option.
Breakfast was fantastic as usual. The food at the White Mountain always pleases myself and any guests that are with me.
We had 2 wonderful breakfasts and an outstanding dinner meal. Everything was perfect.
Disappointed in the dinner overall. Felt it was not worth the price. Will give it one more try.like the convenience of dining there.
Wrap around panoramic views. Higher end resort. Excellent value for classic menu with something for everyone. Extensive wine and cocktail menu, seafood, steaks. Experienced, friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff. Shift to the oak-style bar after for a night cap.
Wonderful dinner. Excellent service and kid friendly
Great filet . Service slow understandable.. long weekend pleasant staff gorgeous setting salmon very dry Caesar salad excellent great wine. Will be back
Wonderful people, beautiful views and spectacular food.
40th Wedding Anniversary
The only complaint I could even give is that the menu is very large - physically it takes up half the table. This is just a joke of course, the place was amazing. There’s a great piano player and the food was great.
Great food and views! Service was quick and attentive.
We had a Friday 9 pm reservation. Despite the late-ish hour, we were made to feel very welcome. The service was attentive and warm. The food was really quite good! There was an amazing seafood dinner special, 4 courses for $42 (soup/salad, appetizer, main course, and dessert)!! The server had made note of my Open Table request for a “happy birthday” candle in our dessert, which was a sweet ending to a nice night out.
Good food that was plentiful and well presented. Food prices were reasonable. The wait staff were routinely nice and attentive.
Great little place to get away. They are dog-friendly.
Love the views! The food is delicious. Our server was very kind. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing views, great service, excellent food. Great for kids too!
Restaurant was wonderful. Started off with a glass of wine by the fireplace in the lobby then preceded to the dining room. Waitress was fantastic and so accommodating. My daughter has gluten, egg & diary allergies and they were able to accommodate her. Dinner was delicious and view was Spectacular.
Very reasonable prices, and the desserts are epic! Bring an appetite.
My wife and I stayed at the White Mountain Hotel for Valentines Day weekend and went to Ledges for dinner. Food was outstanding! My wife had the pork tenderloin and I had the broiled haddock...both were delicious! The server was very efficient, but a tad rushed with every interaction with us. It seemed like the restaurant may have been a bit understaffed on the server end. Ambience was not quite what we’ve experienced at other visits. But, hey, it’s Covid time...great views of Mt. Cranmore from all seats in the dining room!
people, area, food, professional, great and always a great place to go
The food here is amazing. We had the Friday Night seafood fest last night and it was soooo good. Breakfast this morning was great, too. And a full hot breakfast comes with your stay at the hotel. I highly recommend this restaurant and hotel. We will definitely be back.
Great service and food as usual! We love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the courteous treatment by the servers.
Always a good experience at Ledges . Food is consistently good and prepared timely. Missed the piano player this year wished they were able to still provide the entertainment. Waitress was excellent!
The Filet Mignon was exceptional. Have been several times, always a great experience.
The White Mountain Hotel has delicious food and a varied menu to choose from, gluten free and vegetarian as well. Their waitstaff are very efficient and friendly, and the view from their dining room windows is spectacular looking at Mt. Cranmore and out to the White Mountains.
We ate all our meals at the hotel during our 3 night stay and they were all excellent! Nice options, portions were perfect and the quality of the food was outstanding...kudos to the chef!! The wait staff were all very friendly and helpful and provided a very easy and comfortable environment.
There was a notice on the menu to put away electronic devices but there was a table close to ours with three children under the age of 6 watching a movie on a laptop with the volume audible. The adult at the table was then on her phone the majority of the time. We had anticipated at that hour 7p seating) the little kids would not be there, but then to have them on devices the whole time took away from our experience. The food and service was good but would have appreciated if that table considered others and perhaps ate in their room if the kids could not be have sat there without watching a movie we all had to listen to.
Great food and beautiful views
While pricey, which is what we expected for our date night out, the food was amazingly delicious. Steaks were cooked perfectly while drinks, appetizers and sides were all delicious and with good portions. Will definitely return for a future visit.
Seafood fest at Ledges is delicious. We have enjoyed this meal before. This time however, the mussels Portuguese were very salty and they ran out of the raw bar!! Waiter was attentive and awesome!
Fantastic food in a stunning environment capped with a great wine list. Service was excellent
Great views of the mountains and the sweetest staff. They met all of our requests.
The food was just ok. We had prime rib which was tough and difficult to cut and chew. The service was inattentive; the waiter was curt and rushed. I think the mediocre service is partly due to being understaffed during a slow week. The facility is very nice and well appointed. At the White Mountain Resort, I would go to the Tullemore Tavern instead of Ledges as Al and Beth provide friendly and personable service and you can order from the pub and Ledges menus.
Food was amazing as well as the service will be coming back !
New chef- food not to the scale it used to be and service is lacking
Beautiful place! We stayed an extra night! Would definitely come back!
Very good experience, food delicious, and beautifully decorated.
First time staying at the White mtn hotel . We had the white horse king suite with jacuzzi tub. Huge room, cleaned to COVID standards.
Staff were all exceptional, pleasant and courteous.
We ate both breakfast s and 2 dinners at the Ledges. Pick from menu for breakfast and all meals we both had were perfect cooked. Service at the bar, shout out to Eric and Samantha. Drinks were made well and attention to detail.
Hotel was decorated for Christmas adding to the ambiance.
We will return again for sure.
