Service, food, decor, drinks, atmosphere, social distancing all excellent.

Great service & food. Too bad our wacko Governor thinks that ninety minutes is enough time to relax and have dinner. Thank you Legal C Bar for having such a good spirit, all the while suffering from the fools who try and govern us!

I'm just curious how such an established northeast seafood restaurant like Legal Seafood doesn't have haddock ANYWHERE on the menu. Disappointing.... Otherwise the restaurant was quiet and the service was good.

I'd love to get an answer to this question.

The use of protocols was good and the staff friendly but the music was way too loud especially when trying to communicate in masks. The restaurant was empty but the food was warm as opposed to hot which really bummed me out as we seldom eat out these days. The salt and pepper came in tiny paper cups - safe but awful to poor as you needed to use your hand to avoid a dumping. Also the extra napkins were fast food stiff. Overall the experience was terrible especially since it was a night out for my upcoming birthday.
We frequent Legals as I always had a 5 star experience but this visit did not measure up.

Nice to Visit Legal C Bar again. Ambience was rated a little low because hardly anybody was there not Legal's fault but just not the same with more people.

Had a delicious meal with great service. I can't wait to go back after Covid so that I can enjoy the normal atmosphere!

We had the option to sit in the heated tent and it was fine for a weekday lunch. The food is always consistently good. The service as well is always very good. It's a reliably good destination to meet with friends.

I NEVER write reviews The whole experience was bad except for the quality of the food which was good I was very surprised at the whole experience too noisy very expensive $34 small lobster- whaaaat? Had to summon my waitress...

Not sure what’s happening at this legals. We keep trying as I love the location have been a legals fan for a long time but the food here is just not up to par anymore. 2 of us had the dover sole which was so salty you could not taste anything else. The portions were almost embarrassing. The side of broccoli was literally a small coleslaw dish and there was maybe a 1/4c of rice. My sone, whose birthday we were celebrating, got the lobster meal at almost $50! We were told they were medium sized and I’m no expert but I do know a chicken lobster from a medium. There is no way that lobster was even 1.5lbs, is that medium? What’s small? To top off the mediocre food, the hostess would not allow us to have the cupcakes I brought in a completely enclosed Tupperware container saying it was because of Covid. At first, I said fine I won’t serve them but she made my husband take the container back to the parking garage (which if you’re not familiar with, it is a solid 10 min walk each way in the freezing cold). So I guess guests can bring in purses, brief cases, presents... but they draw the line at Tupperware containers apparently. Not sure this is even really a Covid rule as we went to another restaurant for drinks and coffee afterwards in the same plaza and they were perfectly gracious about us enjoying our cupcakes.
I will end by saying the service itself was just fine. Our servers were pleasant and there was no complaints besides having the food come out a little piece meal, but not a biggie. I think we are 1 for 4 in the last visits.

The wait staff was stellar! I work for The Ritz-carlton Hotel and Resort Company, I would have hired our server onto my staff in a second unfortunately he did not have a name tag and his name is escaping me at the moment but amazing attention to details for being what I would consider a fast casual restaurant! Covid messed with the indoor seating pretty heavily but I suppose that’s to be expected this year. We got seated next to the exit door to outside seating and it was rather unpleasant as it was nearly 30 outside and you got hit with an Arctic breeze every time so one went to leave

Server was not very friendly. Very abrupt, quick to walk away.
Had to ask for water refil
Saw other servers engaging customers.
Calamari was very good but sauce would have been better in a small side dish. (instead of on the dish)
Grilled Scallops had no flavor - very bland
Cajun Swordfish was very good, well seasoned, hot
All sides were warm/cold - Waitress never came over to ask how food was
Server gave good wine suggestion
Saw two women visit (obviously knew workers) all were hugging near the waitress station. No COVID distancing/restrictions except masks. The two women were then hanging out near food station. Manager who was expressing food chatting with them. One was then leaning into the food shelving speaking to chef or whoever was on the other side. Very unsafe situation for COVID exposure and food handling.
Overall not impressed and would not return.
Have been to Legal's in Braintree and Boston and a much different atmosphere. More professional and better quality food.

Everything was great except for the drinks, I found them to be exceedingly expensive.

Initially I received a glass that was full of ice, and only several sips of the drink.
I mentioned this to our server and it was corrected, but we were still charged for the glass full of ice and barely any drink, very disappointing. we spent $250 on our meal.

I would have expected more from Legals

Scallops were rather small for SEA size AND were very tough!

It was just ok. The waitress seemed rushed and tired but the restaurant was no where near crowded. The sangria was watered down and no where near ad tasty as they usually are. They food was just ok. Not what we usually expect or receive at all. We took a few bites and packaged it up to take home...and still haven't touched it.

This establishment is consistently inconsistent. My last experience was unremarkable.
No oysters, cherrystones were extremely tiny, waitress was really, really bad and lobster roll wasn't fresh. Menu is also very limited.

The Host seemed rude and was almost ready to go somewhere else, Then it took 25 minutes for a server to come over. Once Kaycee came it was all good! first impression was not good at all.

Both meals very good. Server was knowledgeable and accomodating.

Fish sandwiches were excellent. Outdoor dining was good. Calamari portion was a little thin.

We had a nice dinner. We enjoyed our meal.
It was getting cold by the time we finished.
We did not think the heating lamps stayed on to keep us warm.
They appeared to go on and off.

Salmon was awesome; Caesar salad and sides. Great server.

My waitress was super awesome!!! Would love to have her again. We went back the next night it was alright should've requested the same waitress, I ordered the same food but this time it was over cooked and super hard (fish and chips) and we was rushed to finish our food. Very 😥

Since the reopening their menu changed and prices increased significantly. Pay attention to your bill, besides taxes they added new section for soda not alcohol.
