Horrible food, no taste

Great service and hospitality for a couple of tourists, delicious

Food was tasty and cooked perfectly! Very friendly and attentive staff and a great menu selection. Looking forward to visiting again.

We were there for a family get together. Everything was great, up until my son saw a mouse run across the dining room floor.

I went with a friend for lunch on Christmas Eve. The tables were spread six feet apart and were cleaned regularly. There were not many people there, so we felt very safe. Everyone had to wear masks unless they were actually eating or drinking. Our server Mackenzie was great. She timed the serving of our food perfectly as we were opening Christmas gifts between courses. The food was fabulous. I had the crabmeat platter which had one big crabcake, 4 scallops and 4 shrimp. I could only eat half so brought the other half home for dinner on Christmas night. We also had the icecream bon bons and terrific cappucino. Would definitely recommend. Oh, I forgot I had a terrific margarita also!

The current menus has been simplified and has left out some of my favorite dishes. Check the menus online before you go.

For a franchise restaurant, Legal seafood on the warf was still delicious. Very polite and courteous staff. Food came out extremely fast. And GREAT social distancing while eating. Would definitely recommend.

Lobster was delicious, scallops were not properly cleaned though (sandy).

I would recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood. They have a wide selection of items to choose from. The wait staff is super friendly and helpful in making it easier to find what you would like to eat. They'll be happy to mix & match items to create a dish to your liking. And if you go during the day you'll have a beautiful view of the harbor.

It was such a great time! I absolutely loved the lobster and my boyfriend's meal was excellent as well.

We ate at legal seafoods 3 times during our stay - once for dinner and twice for lunch. Each time we had a very good experience. The food was delicious, the drinks strong but good, and the service was great. Would definitely recommend!

This is a favorite venue when we visit Boston. Clearly the Coronavirus has taken its toll on this (and many other) restaurants, so Legal Seafoods was almost empty when we arrived at 7pm on a Sunday. As a result the buzz of this place was completely missing. Staff were fine though perhaps uninspired. The greatest disappointment was that they had no lobster other than a very expensive though pretty average lobster roll. It might be worth checking ahead if this is your choice.

Have not been to this Legal before. It was excellent! Great appetizers, salads, salmon and more. Wonderful, friendly service. Don't forget to get the Ipswich fried clams!!

Everything was awesome from the cocktails to dessert. No complaints!

Having "discovered" Legal back in the '70's when it was in Inman Square Somerville, I have been dreaming of their yummy fried clams. Now, feeling desperate for some clams after a long COVID-lock up this summer, I am sad to report that the clams I recently had were not just bad, but terrible. All restaurants are suffering in these challenging times, but Legal better try a bit harder to return to its old delicious food. I will not return - ever.

several reason did not like the clams were a bit tuff in chowder
there was no nutty salmon i think it is called
the brocccoli was super hard
there was no pototo option other than french frys

Wonderful gluten free choices. Absolutely delicious. Always a great meal.

We specifically went for lobster roll sandwiches. The roll was mediocre. The lobster was supposed to be warm and buttered and it was neither. The french fries were good. The cole slaw was very run of the mill. Overall, the lunch was a big disappointment.

Great food! Service was nice, although my husband was judged by they way he looked, almost didn’t let him find our family in the table
