My Family and I went there on a Sunday afternoon place was quite and we quickly found out why they were out of soda said their machine was broke the children were not able to get a beverage nor where they able to make any time of mix drink and they were out of juice well it is pretty poor not to send an employee to the store for soda and juice ! As I said it was the afternoon and they planned I staying open till nine. Also they were out of a few items on their menu which is not very big there is one beef choice that they were out of ! The serve try to do his best but customers should be told there is no soda and can make drinks as well before they sit ! Will not be returning no worth the drive lots of better restaurants in Bristol
For our first visit to an indoor restaurant in 15 months, we chose one of our favorites-Leo’s. Couldn’t have chosen a better place. Food was hot, plentiful and DELICIOUS!! The linguini with clam sauce was loaded with clams and the chicken Parmesan was enough for two hungry adults! Service was great, wait staff was personable and very professional and polite.

Time to get appetizer was 40 minutes. Restaurant not 1/3 capacity. Waitress said kitchen was slammed with take out. A diners bill is over 2X a call in. Take better care of in person diners!
We loved it! The arancini were creamy (and NO peas). The waitress, Samantha, did a great job making our drinks, the pesto pasta had a rich, earthy flavor, and the tasty chicken had a rich, buttery sauce. Have to get one of their white pizzas next.

The food from Leo’s is top notch, speed of service is not. This past visit we arrived at 5:30p and was seated immediately. Appetizers did not arrive until 6:20p and dinner at 6:40p. Wait staff was pleasant, but the kitchen is sooo slow. We live in Bristol and come all the time and this never has changed whether we eat there or call in to pick up.

The atmosphere is low key and comfortable. Menu offers several options to please all. Portions sizes were perfect, prices are very reasonable and food came out hot! Drink options were plentiful and my two martinis were delicious.

Went there for Mother’s Day on a last second reservation through open table. We walked in and thought it was more of a diner……..but to be honest, after the food came out, I didn’t care where it was. Very tasty food, our kids who are picky eaters, ate all their food, which rarely happens and prices were very reasonable

Easy walk from the town docks. Drinks were great and food was delicious! Service was a bit slow but it was Mothers Day so expected and not a big issue.

Our experience was just ok. I enjoyed my pasta dish, however our calamari was somewhat rubbery and not crispy enough for our liking. My husband was “meh” about his baked scrod. He commented that it was ok, but nothing to rave about. My son had chicken soup, and he, who I would not consider a picky eater, actually commented that he was disappointed because his bowl hardly had any chicken in it.
In terms of ambiance, it’s a charming place, but they might want to consider lowering the lights a bit...it was really bright.
Finally, I feel that I need to express my displeasure with the hostess. Our waitress had given my husband a pen that did not work to sign the bill. He took SIX (unmasked) steps to the hostess station, which was RIGHT NEXT to our table, to ask for another pen, and was greeted with an immediate “please put your mask on.” We get it...we follow the masking rules everywhere we go...but c’mon. Next time, provide him with a pen that works. We won’t be returning.

We arrived early and it was no problem they seated us outside as we requested. The waiter Scott was fantastic and very nice and honest . He was great with suggestions. The appetizers were great we had calamari and polenta with sausage and rabe. Our entrees were outstanding veal Saltimbocca and the special was risotto with saffron and seafood. We had a very lovely evening and will be back again soon.

We enjoy Leo's. The Italian Cod, Veal Parmesan and Service are always consistent and very good! Outdoor dining is our favorite with our dog. They spoil him too with his own bowl of water.

Not good... food was basic mass made pasta sauce and looked like frozen pizza. Would not recommend.
Simply a horrible experience. We went for lunch a bit after 1. The restaurant appeared to be moderately busy but there were open tables and a number of other customers were getting their meals. We were placed at a table and then completely forgotten. I tried several times to flag down a waiter, but they either ignored or didn’t see or hear me (generous interpretation). I went to the greeting station to find people waiting to be seated but no one at the front check in spot. After 25 min of being ignored we got up and left. So I can’t rTe the food and probably will never return again. I get that places are struggling with COVID-19, but that is not a valid excuse to completely ignore a customer who is trying to help your business survive.
The food was good but it’s so bright and not cozy it’s a shame because it could be much better. Add some plants, dim the lights, nice music and warm it up a bit snd it would be a whole new atmosphere.
The food was delish and all members of my family found their 'favorites!' The waiter was super helpful and did a great job!
Food was amazing, service was not. The waiter was too busy doing multiple other things than waiting on us. We were never told of the specials, we only heard them when another waiter mentioned them to her table. The manager or owner went to the table next to us to ask how their meal was but she never bothered to ask us. There was a handwritten sign on the door telling people to call before they entered but it was unclear and many people (including us) misinterpreted it. I heard the wait staff complaining about how people “can’t read”.
Leo’s always provides a wonderful meal in a charming atmosphere. The food is 5-star and as a patron with food allergies, they are always quite accommodating. We choose Leo’s when our plans bring us to Bristol, RI. Ensure you give yourself time to take a walk around town or trek the trails at the local Audubon before dinner. Then taking a stroll on the boardwalk after dinner is a great closer for the evening.
Due to COVID restrictions we had the whole south side of the restaurant to ourselves. The appetizer was very good (calamari). I had a special seafood Dialvo with lobster it was delicious my wife veal parmigiana which she really enjoyed. Service was good. Definitely will return.

Reserved a table thru the app. Drove 30 minutes to find out they were closed. By that time we were out of luck for anything good.
We are so very sorry to hear about this! We had an issue with the Open Table platform for New Year's Eve and a couple of reservations went through despite the fact that we closed at 4:00 pm that day. Our deepest apologies! Thank you for letting us know about this problem.
We reserved on open table for a NYE dinner date, received every confirmation, provided a credit card number to confirm and when we got there the restaurant was closed. The website said it was open as did the huge sign on the side of the building. Lights were out, chairs were on tables and not a soul present. Needless to say it was very disappointing and I have to check to be sure my card wasn’t charged. I realize times are different right now, but this should not have happened. Definitely will have us thinking twice before going back again, which stinks because we really love this place.

I have had multiple terrific experiences at Leo’s. This past time, I decided to try something different. I ordered the chicken piccata. I was disappointed in that it was more of a couple of pieces of fried chicken on top of pasta with a few capers. I was surprised by this because I have always enjoyed my meals here. I want to chicken piccata elsewhere so it is not and then I am I’m sure I probably should be prepared. This dish was less than satisfying.
We did order calamari as an appetizer which was delicious and my husband ordered chicken Parmesan, which he has had here before & is a favorite of his. My meal will not deter me from coming back because I have eaten here several times and prior to this one night, everything has been terrific.
