It is difficult to define exactly what l’Gueuleton means but the words ‘feast’, ‘food’, ‘family’, ‘friends’ and of course ‘wine’ help us to understand a concept that is inherently French. Since 2004 l’Gueuleton has served French Bistro cuisine at its finest. Combining quality Irish produce with French flair, l’Gueuleton offers a fantastic menu, matched with a perfectly balanced selection of wines.

Situated on the ground floor of the old Fade Street Tenements l’Gueuleton is a combination of exposed red brick walls, industrial beams, copper ceilings and wood floors.

                                          Excellent dining experience! A few more varied choices on the lunch menu would add to one’s experience. Greg always adds to my dining experience here! He’s so welcome and professional. Denis did a very fine job looking after us. Thank you both.

                                          I was solo dining, took a seat at the bar and ended up being delighted by the experience. I felt attended to, not overwhelmed, right on point. From the tequila, croquettes, steak frites, beautiful wine to an exquisite bask cheesecake … what a delight. To the bartender from Argentina and her husband - thank you!

                                          Everything was amazing! The food, the drinks… the menu could be have more dishes for mains, but that would be my only criticism. Amazing restaurant!

                                          Excellent food and service. I used to eat here regularly until Covid and I moved from Dublin. The prices have gone up quite a lot since I was last here, a sign of the times. It’s still a great experience. Everything on the menu is worth a try. Still head and shoulders above the competition. Will be back again. Was better value in the past but prices on par with neighbouring places now while food is arguably better

                                          Definitely my go to restaurant as it never disappoints. Being Sunday it was extremely quiet ( approx 4 tables ) but the food and service were , as usual , excellent.
