The restaurant itself was great. We enjoyed it very much. I will say, it is not in a great part of town. I saw more addicts, homeless, and insane people in 2 blocks than I have seen in the entirety of my time in Honolulu. We have lived here for over a year now. Great restaurant, but bad location.
Love this place for getting together with friends and pau hana. They have great food and we love to share everything pupu style so that we are able to eat a little bit of everything. No too bad finding parking since there is street and parking garage.
Fabulous autumn menu. Great service. Great ambiance. Farm to table fresh. Best porkchops ever!
Best food ever! First day of the fall menu and it was fantastic. Loved the various meat selections- we (8 of us) all ordered different dishes and each was unique in flavor and very tasty.
The food was average, and the item I wanted wasn’t available. The noise level was way too high. We couldn’t even hear the person across from us. The owner needs to install some king of sound reduction material at least over the entire ceiling.
Great location , good vibe and attentive service. FOOD IS DELISH!
Greeted and seated quickly. Cocktails fun. Food beautiful and tasty. Service prompt and polite.
No flavor at all taste like I'm eating under water. Service messed up orders twice and the prices were ridiculous for how horrible the food was
From the time we walked into Livestock we knew we’d be in for a treat! The restaurant has been carefully decorated to enhance the wonderful bones of its great space: all done in warm loft meets industrial style! The food is cooked to perfection. Whether it’s soup, salad, meat, seafood, dessert- all of the ingredients chosen are Medes into wonderful flavors. We are originally from N.Y. and would have to say that Livestock rates on the same level as its top 5. The service was relaxed, informative, and friendly. Livestock has been our number 1 dining visit so far. It’s a must for all!!!
Awesome lunch special, $18 for soup and BBQ sandwich with sides. Went there right before Iolani palace. Like a 10 minute walk (1 hour parking meters) or 2 minute drive there. Great service and they were accommodating to a picky 7 & 9 year old, so adults got to enjoy great lunch too
Everything was fantastic and the service and food/drinks were outstanding!
Great service and BONE MARROW WITH ESCARGOT. Are you kidding me? That’s like getting a bonus on a holiday weekend on your birthday.
Great restaurant, this was my favorite meal while in Hawaii on vacation. Great atmosphere, and even better food.
Poor choice for food and menu different on website
We Wait too much between appetizers and main dishes.
Good food great drinks tonight and cool vibe. Would definitely go back again.
Staff was absolutely wonderful. Constant supply of water on a muggy day. Prime rib was undercooked and lacked a little on the taste side. The ambiance was on point.
Nice place to meet your friend/friends after work. Excellent service. Very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious perfectly prepared. Escargot with bone marrow is a rich dish. Different from what I'm used to. Ordered the rack of lamb but it came out like chops. Chocolate Mousse cake was delicious. I also enjoyed the extensive drink menu.
I would return for drinks and try a new dish!
Great food, a very nice selection of whiskey and wine. Service was outstanding.
Food was great. Service was top notch. Highly recommend and will definitely go again.
Celebrating purchase of a home
Always been a 5star from staff friendliness up to the amazing menu served and I can say this as we have been so many times since moving to Hawaii in 2014. Highly recommended place to dine and wine. Until next time.
I like be this place but the key ingredients were skimpy and the ravioli was bland. I love you Livestock ... step it up!
Duck was tasty. Pasta and gnocchi were undercooked slightly; tasted better next day after reheating leftovers. Taste was good. Bare brick walls promoted high, undesireable noise levels. Chairs very hard and uncomfortable; luckily they had seat cushions stashed which I was allowed to use. Might return for the smoked prime rib and oxtail mac and cheese.
Best pork tenderloin dish I’ve ever eaten. Very enjoyable experience. Recommended by local contact.
The food was really good and for the price, it really did not disappoint.
This was the second time I dined at Livestock, the food and service was just as excellent as the first time. The only complaint I would make is it’s a bit noisy, it was hard to hold a conversation with our table of 7.
This is an awesome place. The smell of wood burning and meat hits you as soon as you open the door. Its a mans restyrantvwith just the right touch of class for the women. The bourbon selection is outstanding. Bartender is a mixologist for sure. Had the Roasted duck breast with a cherry bourbon demi glaze. The best I've had and it paired well with an old fashion.
Not as the same as before quality is going down hill, food not good, either the cooks are not trained or the chef sucks
You can never go wrong eating at Livestock Tavern. The atmosphere is wonderful.
Been to LT many times and I love the place. The $16 salad was tasty but small for the price. Everything else was great. I'll be back but won't order the salad.
Seasonal menus throughout the year with popular selections available all seasons.
The food was excellent! I had the Duck breast confit and my date, the Lobster pasta. The Duck was done perfectly, it was so good I wanted a second order to take home! The lobster dish had healthy pieces of lobster, and the pasta looked freshly made. Our server, however, forgot to put in our drink order, so we got the drinks just after the meals were served. They did comp the drinks because of the delay. I loved the atmosphere, the look of old bricks and flower wall paper. But if you're looking for a quiet intimate dinner, this is not the place. It's noisy, vibrant, and busy! Would definitely go back to try out other things on their menu.
Atmosphere and food was great but after finished appetizers we’re waiting pretty long time for our entree.
We heard great things about this restaurant and were very anxious to try it. I had the porterhouse pork chop. It was very bland. It needed seasoning. My husband had the steak special which had to be sent back twice to get to a medium temperature. It could be great if they focus more on the food flavors.
We went on the 4th of July. The bartender was wonderful. Great service and phenomenal drinks. While the drinks were amazing, we only ordered one each because they were extremely overpriced. $14 for a cocktail!! Would have loved to order more if the price was just a few dollars cheaper. We were upset with the cut of steak; it was way too thin, especially at that price point. Burger was good but my fries were already soggy by the time I started eating them. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, but I’m not sure that the prices are justified.
Livestock rocks--changes its menu every quarter, and we haven't been disappointed in any of the items. They do great things with their mixed drinks in addition to an excellent bar. Staff is always friendly & helpful: a fave in Honolulu.
We will be dining here again. The service was great, food was ono and the drinks were fabulous.
Only downfall is parking. Do your homework on the best place to park AND bring cash!
Awesome as always. Food is amazing and the staff are always very helpful.
