LOBOS Meat & Tapas - Borough
Really good food and nice venue but thought the prices were quite steep considering the small portions
My girlfriend and I came here for our last meal before the second lockdown and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the waiters were so helpful and attentive.
Great service and the food was amazing, especially the cheese cake!
All round fantastic place. The food, location, interior, price and team were all amazing!
I love all the individual little booths of seating you get some privacy from other diners without feeling distanced from the servers. The food was really good and served fairly quickly. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend.
The outside seating area is great the heaters kept us warm on a cold evening, service was perfect fast and attentive. Lovely food and nice cocktails means I would definitely go back.
Good tapas style food - small plates to share between 3 of us. Best dish was a sharing steak - Chuleton but pretty pricy! Table was compact but we are 2 X adults and 1 child so could manage ok.
Everything was excellent except...limited wine selection which I was ok with but wine was very overpriced for a spanish restaurant. Wine can be a very casual affair in Spain thus it is sometimes served in tumblers, which this restaurant adopted. But a bottle of Tempranillo was £40, and strangely was pricier than ordering by the glass?? I would still recommend this restaurant as we had a great time...just stick to ordering by the glass.
Awesome meal with two hungry boys. Great food, good service, all good.
Absolutely amazing food was delicious and top notch service by all staff and specially eduardo
We will be back 😄
Great Sirloin steak cooked to perfection! Our waiter was incredibly friendly too.
Nice food and drinks but not worth the fuss. The octopus was not the best favour, patatas bravas was soggy and sour, and tortilla was runny in the middle. Black rice was nice. Sangria tasted too much like frangelico and too little like sangria. All in all a ok dinner, but not worth the price. Some of the dishes were very good (pork) but the basic dishes not so much. Croquettes and batatas bravas were served in paper cups for no apparent reason- small plates or bowls would've been nicer and less wasteful.
Portion sizes were a little small, but amazing service and food.
The portion sizes have reduced significantly and it was over priced. Will not be going back there.
Nice place, bit cosy and pricey but service was good
Good food and service was quick and good too, I recommend this place
Very good service, tasty food, definitely nice place in the covid outbreak
Everything was good but the blonde girl at the entrance should work out in her customer service skills as she was a bit rude whilst Nicoletta was excellent, polite and acknowledged.
Superb food and superb service would recommend to anyone.
Great food! Shame the kitchen closed so early. Could do with bigger seating areas, also the music could have been a bit more upbeat louder!
Overall fantastic and great service!
Food was really yummy, staff friendly and attentive.
The food and service was good. Would recommend on that front. Unfortunately the provision for outside eating was very poor- it was freezing despite wearing many layers. More heaters are definitely required!
Excellent food and service as always. The menu has been reduced down as has everywhere but there was plenty of choice and what we had was delicious. Social distancing wasn't a problem. Well done guys, we'll definitely be back...
Amazing tapas and staff, although I do not like the seating outside (which was the only option on the day)
The food is great, yes its a little pricey, but I have not had tapas that good for a long time. However, we sat outside, the description and pictures on the website far from match where we sat, which is basically in a cordoned-off area of the market, which was a real let down, which was disappointing as it was for my sons 18th Birthday.
Been here several times and it’s always good. What really makes it is the lovely friendly staff. Tapas is good. Miss the monkfish but I guess they have to change things sometimes! Prefer to sit upstairs- so cosy.
Excellent food, and delightful service. It can't be easy working in the restaurant business at this time of pandemic, but you'd never know it from the folks at Lobos.
Cosy and intimate setting with great tapas and excellent service.
Couldnt be better. Food was outstanding. Service was just right along with the cost.
Lobos is a lovely atmosphere, great food and staff. We were seated next to the kitchen area upstairs which was a little loud at times when dealing with dishes, but this didn't detract from a lovely evening.
Faultless. From the food to the service. Would definitely come back for another meal.
Good service - quick food delivery and very tasty
Good fresh food. Not many non-meat options.
Helpful, friendly staff
Amazing tapas, some of the best I have had in London!!
But disappointed. I came here a month ago and had a great time. I thought the wine menu for the outside tables was a rip off £36 or £42!! I’m sure you weren’t charging people that inside a month ago. It was bloody freezing outside and the food was okay but it wasn’t outstanding. You can get a £40 three course meal at Michelin starred Chez Bruce and the food was nothing that I couldn’t have knocked up myself. Sorry, but £70 a head is not worth it.
First time eating at Lobos and we were not disappointed! We were even surprised with a cheesecake with a candle in it for my husbands birthday! We will definitely be returning!
Brilliant food and friendly staff, thanks for a lovely experience
The food are delicious, espeically the Black Rice and Octopus!
Food was gorgeous and the server was really friendly and attentive.
Highlights were the chorizo in red wine and the prawns. Just a bit dead in there compared to all the bustling tables now laid out in the market area of borough market.
