We can always rely on having a great meal at Lobster House!! It is a great place to go and be casual and relax while enjoying fresh seafood!!

I've been to the Lobster House several times and haven't had anything I didn't like! Good service and friendly atmosphere!

We enjoyed our meals despite not having the fullest of appetite (both sick). We'll certainly be back!

Service was good. Mussels Fra diavolo appetizer was delicious and crab cakes for dinner were very good.

Hidden gem in freehold... If you want seafood done right go to the lobster house with Excellent service

Lobster House has never disappointed. Fresh seafood, well made, and always a nice selection of lobster in various sizes. One of our favorite area restaurants.

While the food was good, the bathroom was un kept with a broken lock on the restroom.

New Years Eve dinner with hubby and kids - food was meh, for the price expected better. Rigatoni with vodka sauce was dry, stuffed rigatoni with seafood was ok but not especially tasty. Lobster Mac and cheese also just ok. Best meal on the table was the steak.

We enjoyed our meal & service was very good.

The Salmon was nice size, but was overcooked. Mashed was just a small dollop. The broccoli was about 5 on the plate. Not at all did expect this small a portion...not for the cost of the dinner.

I tried to redeem my open table points by presenting the reward card I printed out but they didn't know how to process it.

What a Gem!! The Lobster House does Seafood RIGHT-the way it should be. Everything we've tried has
been excellent and the portions are perfect. You will not leave hungry; but you will leave thinking about what you will try the next time you dine there!

I'm sure this is a better place to go to when the weather is nice and you can sit outside. The inside was decorated cute though. The food was good, we split an order of steamers which were cooked perfectly. My husband ordered one of their specials and I ordered one of shrimp and pasta dishes. Both were good, but nothing great. We didn't have room for dessert. It's also BYOB which is one thing we enjoy.

This is a casual BYOB in a strip mall. We started with a dozen each of the oysters and clams. They were good but probably would not order again. The entrees were all fabulous! There were oversized, the prices very reasonable and cooked to perfection. We had the Fisherman's Feast, Linguini Clam Sauce (white sauce), Linguini Combo with scungilli & calamari and the Chicken Parmigiana. Our waitress was friendly, informative and checked in with us frequently. The ambiance is nothing special but who cares when the food is so good. We will be going back soon!

The food was the highlight here. The atmosphere is nice, it’s a small place with less than twenty tables, very casual and byob. The food was exceptional

When we want good fresh seafood we head to the Lobster House in Freehold. The service is friendly, the food is always excellent and going earlier in the evening always ensures a quiet dining experience. An additional benefit is that they have a BYOB policy.

We ordered a dozen oysters the shells were broken with pieces of shell in the main course I had crab cakes that were not that good the desert we had real bad cheesecake said something to the waitress she said I know she makes better one

Love this place everything always fresh and delicious and very friendly staff... Heard they have a new chef the place hasn’t missed a beat... chef specials are out of this world

The service was not good. Took way too long to receive our entrees. No one came over to clear the used plates after our appetizers or to ask about drink refills or to even offer water for the table.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant out for the past year since I see it everyday being right next to my gym. Unfortunately my wife is not a fan of seafood, but she finally gave in on Friday...I love seafood and when it comes to food I’m not hard to make happy. We made a reservation but when we arrived it was pretty empty. We were immediately sat and placed a drink, appetizer, and dinner order.
Our appetizer came first and then our 2 kids order came out about 20minutes later, and after waiting for at least another 30 minutes my wife and my order had still not made it. It was a Grouper and steak dinner which is not difficult to make. The streak was not even close to medium rare and was way past well done. My Grouper was bland at best. I was so excited to try this restaurant but unfortunately with the service and low quality of food we will not be back.

The food never disappoints. I had the Fisherman’s Feast, all I can say was AMAZING!! I also had the mashed potatoes, they were fantastic! A great alternative to fries. Thank you. I’ll be back!!

Love the place, its friendly and welcoming and the food and service is great.

The food was excellent. They only had 2 waitresses and the place was packed. 1 of the servers was new. I actually set my stop watch and told my friends if we don't at least get greeted at our table with menus and water in 10 mins we were leaving. It got to 7 minutes.
I'm glad we stayed. The food was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

What a great place. Fresh fish, and we didn't have to fight shore traffic. Every dish was delicious, from appetizer to demitasse coffee. We will be back.

We dine here often and always enjoy it & tonight we brought some friends & the food was amazingly delicious tonight told the waiter & was told they have a new chef!! So pleased with everything we ordered

The place had a very laid back, family feeling. The service was great, food was delicious and the portions were large for the price. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for a great seafood meal!

Was basically ignored when we first walked in. Then we were seated near a group of 16. Most of the waitress attention went to them. Group was loud, which is understandable for that large of a group. The shelf near our table was dirty, and hadn't been cleaned in a while. Food was nothing to brag about.

The food was just ok. Nothing special. Somewhat disappointing.

Food was good. Entrees reasonably priced. Appetizer and raw bar on the expensive side.

Not sure about service in general, but we had an inattentive and fairly rude waitress.

Laid back relaxed place. No rushing and good food. Beet goat cheese salad is a must.....

Been there many times and the food is always good

For a local restaurant, it's good seafood. It is not fancy, or great for a long night of dining, as there is no real ambiance. Service is okay, but it was rather empty and we felt as if we were being watched as we were eating.

Loved the food and the place. We’ll be back for sure.

I was never so disappointed in all my life. The food was horrible and the cost was crazy. I would never go back. It was not worth the money. I am so sorry I wasted a Saturday night on this place. I give this place a thumbs DOWN
