We dined on a Tuesday night with hardly anyone else there. Service was outstanding and the food was creative and prepared perfectly. We will definitely return.

Food, service and setting were all excellent. Felt safe eating in due to the limited capacity. Did not feel rushed. Highly recommend. Looking forward to going back.

My husband and I decided to try Lock 50 having read very good reviews of it. Overall, we had a good experience there, but we won't rush back because some things were disappointing. In particular, the appetizer we ordered, pork belly on scallion pancake was not at all what we were expecting. The pork was very over-cooked and tough to cut and chew, and the pancake was very thin and hard--more like a cracker than a pancake.
However, we were very pleased with the main course that we shared, which was a whole roasted sea bass. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. We also thought the desserts we had were quite good: 2 orange-flavored canolli and a Napoleon with cream and berries.
Our waitress was excellent--very polite, attentive, and helpful.

Food is outstanding. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Signature cocktails are extremely good. We dined in the outdoor igloo and it was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Every course was well balanced with flavors and textures and always left us wanting more. We will be back!

It was nice being able to eat outdoors in one of the private igloos. $75 was a little steep, but it was enjoyable.

Had dinner in the igloo, chef's 5 course with wine pairing. Great experience. Igloo was a little chilly, but warmer than outside. Would highly recommend!

It is ridiculous that the igloo seating costs $50/hour. When I made my reservation, the policy was that the $50/hour would then be applied to your bill, but I guess this is no longer the case. My dinner bill was around $200 then I was charged an additional $100 just for sitting in the igloo! When I arrived for my reservation, the igloo was freezing cold for the first 30 minutes, which is about $25 worth of time! It finally got warm over time, but the general outdoor heaters are what heat up the igloo, they do not have their own heater. So what am I paying for? I could have sat outside the igloo and received the same heat source without having to pay. What is my $100 charge going toward if it no longer goes toward the bill? What makes them think this is acceptable just because of Covid? The restaurant was empty inside and outside. Do not recommend. So upset they took around $300 from me for 2 hours of sitting at garden furniture under a cold plastic dome.

Excellent time

I love this place! Their food is so yummy and they did a terrific job on creating a safety environment (6f distance) for their tables set up!Their mix warm nuts as a starter was a delightful surprise. Their drinks are the real thing and with high quality options - first time in a long time that I don’t need to have my drink “fixed”!

great brunch, very nice outdoor dining arrangement. food is delicious and consistent as is the service.

We had a fantastic dinner sitting outside on the patio with the warm heaters this November weekend. There is no other restaurant in Worcester that has so much outdoor seating and Lock 50 is continuously finding ways to make it even more enjoyable! They just added more overhead heaters (in addition to their many free standing heaters) that will make it a warm, safe place to enjoy wonderful food and wine. Can't wait to go back soon!

Fabulous lunch on outdoor patio. Heaters, good tunes and vibes. The burger was the best I've ever had! Kale Caesar yum. We will be back.

We did outdoor dining! It was a bit cool of a late evening but the standing heaters were nice and the staff even offered blankets which was very nice.

The food and drinks were delicious! I wish the entree menu had a bit more options though.

This is our second time, enjoyed it again and purchased gift certificate for a friend, can’t wait to come again and reserve an igloo!

Outstanding service, food and ambiance!

Tim, the chef is a true professional. He created an amazing 5-course tasting menu while respecting our allergies and preferences. I travel 45 min to reach this restaurant and gladly do it again and again. My 4th visit and certainly won't be my last!

COVID Handling: There were several patrons who left their tables without a mask, and the employees didn’t seem to care. This is probably explained by the fact that I also saw at least two employees walking around the restaurant without masks. This was my primary issue with my experience here.

Service: We had a new server. He forgot to put in every order. I know this because two drinks took over ten minutes to come out. For the entrees, he gave us the whole “sorry for the wait” speech, which any former server knows is code for “I just put the order in.”

Food quality: The food wasn’t awful, but it was overcooked. Overeasy eggs came out overhard, hard yolk instead of runny.

Value: $10 for a low-alcohol, watery mimosa is steep. That’s approaching NYC prices!

Overall: I’m not sure this place is equipped to be open during COVID. I’d recommend shutting down, reassessing the needs and safety of the patrons, and trying again. The food quality probably won’t improve any time soon, but prices should be adjusted for the time being to match quality.

After having been seated and waiting 30 minutes, we had to let a passing waitress know that nobody had come to our table.

When we finally did get our food, it was mediocre. Food was significantly overpriced for the quality received.

Limited menu with small plates that are presented nicely but priced as entrees in most other locations. Staff tried very hard to please and other than the unexpected higher prices it was an overall pleasant experience considering the Covid restrictions.

Food came out raw, the waiter and manager did nothing to correct the situation. Ultimately my party ate dinner at different times. The food was average, nothing special at best. There are many restaurants that are feeling the pressure/competition to up their game. This isn't one of them

The outside dining area was very nice. The service and food was great!
