Tacos, tacos, tacos. The tacos at Lola Gaspar are THE BEST! I crave their mushroom potato tacos and the prawn chorizo tacos on a regular basis. And if they are ever serving their pastrami tacos... Do not skip them! Super Fast Service once you are seated too!

This is my favorite restaurant and I go here every time I'm back in Southern California. Unfortunately, I had the same server for the second time in a row and she was terrible. This is my first negative review about a server, ever. She never stopped to see if we needed anything else, more drinks, more food, or anything. She also never introduced herself as our server, after we were helped to our table by someone else... so... unless we stopped her we would have never found out who our waiter was to take our order. The restaurant was not very busy, there were many open tables. I will not be coming back next time in town.

My wife and I came for our weekly date. We had 4 dishes, chile relleno, octupus, grouper taco and barbacoa taco. All were outstanding. We had to take the non-taco dishes home because we couldn't finish them. Maybe 3 taco dishes the next time.
