After five visits [parties of 4, 6 and 8] during the last few months, my friends and I have not been disappointed. Consistently outstanding service and food. But Lola’s signage is too small to see given its proximity to its driveway. For newcomers, I tell my friends to slow down upon seeing the Puppy Palace sign.
Great meal and service.
Our experience here was great. We typically go to another Italian restaurant in the same town, but thought we would try this one out, and it great. Food was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back. Noise level is especially important to me, because Id like to carry on a conversation, and it was perfect.
I love the relaxed feel of this place. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly. I definitely will return to try more dishes. The mushroom risotto was very good as well as the chicken parm. All the food was very flavorful.
Food is fresh, but more into fusion than authentic italian.
The food never disappoints at Lola's. We were lucky to be seated in the quieter area of the restaurant. The restaurant is more of an open space so a romantic atmosphere it is not. Our waiter was so engaging and knew the menu.
The Fried Calamari is the best we’ve had. Lightly fried. Perfect. Vodka Rigatoni was delicious, the best around! Service was impressive. Very attentive staff. Menu prices very reasonable for the excellent quality of from scratch cuisine.
Great food with a nice price and it's BYOB to boot! Specials were great.
Great time, great food, great service for dinner. Specials were amazing. Hope to dine at Lola's again, soon.
Good food in casual environment. Prices are reasonable.
Good food and service. Prices reasonable. Noise level very high.
Lola restaurant is excellent! Our meals were served perfectly and the staff do a wonderful job! The location is great as well! We have never been disappointed there. The only improvement possibly would be something to lower the sound level a bit. Perhaps wall-to-wall carpeting, or some wall coverings that could absorb the sound when crowded. It’s not a problem except during peak hours. Other than that, it is one of the best restaurants in the area!
Never been to Lola’s, but will definitely be going back. From the appetizers to dessert everything was absolutely delicious and made perfect to order. My Filet was delicious and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend Lola’s!!
Made a reservation online, but got to the restaurant for New Years Eve & was surprised by the prix fixe menu. Meal was $45 pp .. not outrageous, but wished I knew this ahead of time. Food/service was average... maybe bc of the holiday..
IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A PRE FIXE MENU ON NEW YEARS, let people know BEFORE COMING! Not a $50 per person restaurant.
The specials are always so good! Easily one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
Christmas Eve Dinner was excellent. Service was slow because they were so busy and seemed under staffed but the servers working were terrific. All of our meals were awesome.
Great food and lively atmosphere. Wonderful, solicitous staff who make the experience homey and very pleasant. We always ask for a table against the wall since it's a bit noisy when crowded but that seems to help and make it easier to chat. Highly recommend this tucked away gem!
Lola's is a nice local Italian restaurant in Robbinsville. The food is good at an even better price.
For dessert, get the table side Fruit Flambé with Gelato. My kids love the show.
The food was good and reasonably priced. The overall atmosphere was just ok.
Good food, portion control and service. They really need to figure a way to tone down the ambient noise.
We dined at Lola’s prior to going out for a Saturday night with friends. The menu is large, but pretty much the same as every other Italian restaurant. All entrees were served timely, but nothing stood out as spectacular. Satisfied with the experience, but wouldn’t rush back.
The food was excellent, as was the service! And you can’t beat the location for ease of access. They could use some carpeting or other acoustic sound reducing system, as it does get noisy when crowded. Other than that, we had a wonderful time!
Good food is to be found at this nice little B.Y.O.B. in the Trenton - area at Robbinsville, New Jersey. We recommend their delicious calamari .
Excellent food in a casual yet welcoming environment. Service was attentive while not hovering. Highly recommend.
This is a very good restaurant with very good food and service!! Just wish the room itself was more cozy
I really enjoy the combination of specials and items from the regular menu. The food is always well-prepared and satisfying.
Excellent lunch choices of Caesar salad, rigatoni with prosciutto in vodka sauce, and linguine bolognese. Large portions of fresh, delicious food. Would definitely return for lunch or dinner.
Very good food and service
Six of us recently had dinner at Lola’s. None of those 6 had ever been there besides me. The food was delicious and included calamari as an appetizer, a side salad with a gravy boat full of dressing, freshly shaved Parmesan, good bread with a. I,I e tapinade and wonderful entrées. Our server could not have been more professional yet very pleasant and upbeat. All of my friends really enjoyed the meal and were so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. They will be back! I’ve been here numerous times and highly recommend!
We have dined there several times and the food is always great. The server goes well beyond to make it a wonderful dining experience!
Server was very pleasant and helpful. Food was good.
We were seated right away at a nice table in the front by the window. The food was excellent and we were able to relax and have a great evening.
I went there with a friend for her birthday. We started with the mussels and sausage appetizer, which was delicious. For entrées she had the lamb chop special and I had the Bronzino. Both were delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. I’ll be back.
Always great food at Lola’s!
Wonderful meal, good value. Limited menu with specials, allowed options.
We had a reservation for 4 people at 7 PM, and were seated promptly. Our server took drink orders and brought bread and a "dip" for the bread -kind of a mixture of olive oil, egg plant and some spice(?). Dip was excellent, bread quite poor. For an Italian restaurant to serve what is essentially a soft white bread is inexcusable.
We shared a calamari appetizer, "Calamari Alla Griglia" (grilled calamari), which was bland and rubbery -a disappointment. The entrees were really ok and seemed fresh, but without a great deal of taste, i.e. kind of bland (in our humble opinions).
So this appears to be an OK restaurant, with fresh food that has no pizzaz.
