   I was given a gift card as a Christmas present. Absolutely perfect gift. This is the best restaurant experience that I’ve ever had from food and beverage presentation all the way to food taste and quality. Certainly worth the money and plan to come back.

   This is our first visit and will not be our last. Our server Amber was knowledgeable and attentive. The staff was pleasant. Food was delicious. The 1 issue and they know it is where we were seated was too dark, but it was explained it was for romantic ambiance. Over a certain age, light is appreciated to read the menu or I suggest letting diners know when they are seated they might need their phones to read the menu.

   Very cool atmosphere. We loved the split levels, stained glass, exposed brick, and bar area...very well decorated and timeless. Waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing, food was phenomenal and we had no chance of finishing everything.

    I brought my mom in for a late birthday dinner, and we had the most amazing experience. Our service was awesome from (I think Angela); her attention to detail and recommendations were on point. Compliments to the chef, because the food was delicious; the oysters, crab cakes, and tenderloin were perfectly presented and absolute delicious. The ambience was perfect, and the bartender was making some smoked old fashions that were perfection and paired well with everything we ate. I highly recommend this venue for fine dining. We will definitely be back!!

    Driving in from OOS to see our son at UTK. So glad we stopped in for lunch! Awesome vibe, incredible cocktails and perhaps the BEST burger I’ve ever tasted! Restaurant stayed open late (lunch) for us to arrive and our server was great. We will definitely be coming back for a nice steak dinner on a future visit.

    This is not the same restaurant as pre-Covid. Service is appalling, food is mediocre, and don’t let them sit you 3 levels up as it is some weird event space. Shame as this was so consistently great before.

    The Lonesome Dove was an interesting restaurant. The food was good, some courses better than others. The portion sizes, not so much, when you have to pay for the sides as well. The crab cakes, elk sliders and rabbit rattlesnake sausage was the best of the night. The main courses weren’t bad, they were very flavorful just a lot smaller than what you would think from other high end eatery’s. The service was phenomenal, our local waitress was the best from any restaurant I’ve ever been too. All in all it’s a decent a date night, it’s pricey for what you get but it all is edible. Glad I tried it, but that’s it.

    We went for valentine’s day and had a limited menu with specials they would only serve on Valentines. Food was incredible and we got complementary chocolate strawberries and glass of champagne.

    Our annual valentines day dinner was fantastic once again! On the quest to try the whole menu.. & we had the pork chops and bison ribeye. Both were fantastic but fall short of the elk loin and beef tenderloin just because they're so amazing. 10/10 would recommend again and will be back!

    The wagyu strip was tough and hardly could cut it with the knife provided. The limited menu was disappointing and I wish that I was told about that ahead of time so I could have made alternative plans. $2250 for 9 people was not a good value this time. Our first time was amazing. I was disappointed this time - and it was for my daughters 21st bday.

    Great location, excellent interior design, attentive service and very well prepared food. Value for money is a big big issue however. Small (but very tasty) salads come in at around $15 and the Elk Tenderloin was a whopping $63 without any accompanying sides at all. Mash potato cost an extra $12 to round it up to $75, when in truth a second vegetable was needed that could have taken the plate to $90+. No complaints about the portion sizing that was more moderate/European in nature. Just the price of the portion. A two course meal for two, with one person just having two smaller second courses plus 2 glasses of wine each was close on $250 including tip. This would prevent us from returning.
