We were allowed to get settled before we were asked did we want any drinks, which I liked because i don’t like being asked straight away. Seating is spaced because of the current situation, service was excellent and food was excellent I had no complaints at all. The hotel looks very nice although we weren’t staying there we were talking to a couple who were staying in the apartments and they said they value for money.

Lovely food and a general lovely experienced Food nice and keeping to COVID-19 restrictions.

We visited Longlands on last night of our narrow boat holiday. Social distancing was good..service was good. Food was lovely.

An excellent eating experience. The food was of a very good standard, the roast beef was excellent. The staff were very friendly yet highly professional.

Simply fabulous food. Very nice ambience and excellent service but the food was truly fabulous.

Lovely pub. Would be a regular if it was nearer to where we live. Food was enjoyed by all of our party. Owner was lovely and arranged for us to have a table in the pub area where we could take our dog. Highly recommend.

We had the 2 courses for £20...fish cake and lamb was absolutely delicious! Great value for money! The waiting on staff were polite and so attentive. Understanding safety measures in place too which is a bonus these days as can be quite confusing. Thankyou to all staff a big well done from us!

Booking was simple and even with restrictions being in place, it seemed very homely and a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed our meals a lot and found them good value for money. Would maybe have liked a couple of other choices on the menu, still with the good quality food theme but a little more simple, as we had 2 teenagers with us who would have liked a little more choice as they don't like anything too fancy. They enjoyed the sausage and mash but left a lot of the trimmings - still enjoyed it none the less. Would definitely go back and recommend

Staff are doing really well with all the new measures in place for COVID19. The only downside was the lighting where we were sat was very poor so it was difficult to see what we were eating. We had a reservation made for later in the week and asked for a table with better lighting, the lady said choose your table as your the only one's booked in so far, so fingers crossed for next time. Food was very good, fish & chips, Flat ironed steak, Lamb steak, all got good reviews. Staff were attentive without being over bearing. All were wearing face masks which must make them warm, so very well done to them.

Food very good, bit disappointed they no longer do the kids meal deal, also no pizzas, only from Thursday and weekend....
Also no track and trace details taken!

Went here for a meal with real meat. Beef was on the menu. Had booked. Show to a seat in a bar area. No restaurant in a place that size??? Then told no beef. No longer available. Ordered drinks. No merlot???? A house wine. Wished we could escape. Never again.

Didn’t feel covid secure, I didn’t see hand gel and tables where quite close together. There was a member of staff constantly wiping his nose with his hand and sneezing into his hands without washing them. Luckily he did not serve our table otherwise I would have left. With everything that is going on at the minute staff hygiene should be most important. Staff also not wearing visors I would not return

After many visits over the years to Longlands I was most disappointed at the poor quality of my steak meal and the unsatisfactory of the staff response to my complaint,

Wonderful place. Great starter. Main meal was a little disapointing (for all four of us). Desert should have been piping hot with some icecream, it was not. Personnel were really helpful.

Went there expecting something special and was greeted with bland pub food. Ordered garlic mushrooms to start no garlic and bread was burnt and not easy to cut through.
Burger was nothing special.

Seated with strict social distancing my party and I enjoyed a delicious roast beef Sunday lunch with one of us opting for the gammon steak instead. Both dishes were beautifully presented in good time.

Friendly, professional and nothing too much trouble ! The Steak was cooked to perfection definitely coming back !

Menu was quite limited but they were able to accommodate my vegetarian son with sausage and mash. Food came quickly and was very good. Gentleman who served us was very helpful. We wanted pizza but they only do that on a Thursday so we had to go back the next night. We weren’t given the pizza menu and had to ask for it. Pizza was delicious

Excellent food, service and value.
My concern was with the lack of, or should I say non existent mask/visor wearing of the staff.. went in at the front door as advised and no hand sanitiser, left through the side door again no hand sanitizer.
Very few people adhering to the one way system in place...
No one took any details for track and trace, but as I booked online through the open table app I presume our details are taken from there if needed????
Disappointed and not what I expected with this establishment, I would have thought they would have been on the ball with this.

Well organised inside. Outside you can scan and get drinks or food ordered to your table so total contactless and quick.

Just sorry to see staff not wearing face shield. This is a reason we would think twice before coming back. The service was good and the food.
