Great evening & atmosphere! Very intimate setting and of course, incredible performance by Lonnie and the guys! Highly recommend! Get your reservation quick, they fill up fast!

Amazing experience. Where else can you see talented live musicians, singing, scatting and tap dancing all in one great show? The food is very good, drinks great and the friendly servers really hustle. I cannot say enough positive about this experience.

Great experience! Love the connection to KC Jazz history. Music was energetic and fun. Where else do you get a chance to experience live jazz and tap dancing Kansas City style like this place? I recommend you give this a try. I know I will be back.

Lennie's Reno Club our new date night spot. Great atmosphere, good food and Lonnie is a very talented entertainer. He tap dances, plays a couple different horns, sings, tells stories and engages his audience. Wonderful place to be.

Go, go, go, to see Lonnie perform. The ambience was lovely, food was great, service was spot-on and Lonnie and the other musician's were so entertaining. Lonnie is a Kansas City treasure.

The most amazing place. Speak easy feel and ambiance but nothing but the best live jazz music in the city. Lonnie is by far the best. From slow jazz to old school RnB to upbeat Jazz and Rnb. The food was amazing. We had scallops and the chicken. Amazing drinks. Tried the Vieux for the first time and found a new cocktail. Greeted with Champagne. You're whole vibe will change as soon as you walk in the place and hear Lonnie. Very personable as he likes to meet and welcome his guest.

Would 100% recommend Lonnie's Reno Club. Not only are the drinks and food amazing, the entertainment is second to none. Was blown away by my experience and cannot wait to go back. Seeing Lonnie is a true pleasure!

This was our 1st time at the Reno club and it won't be our last! we had a wonderful time and felt very safe with covid precautions taken by staff.

There are not enough stars for ambience nor enough words to express how much I enjoyed Lonnie's Reno Club. It is an absolutely beautiful and intimate spot, perfect for friends, lovers, and lovers of jazz. Lonnie McFadden of course is just amazing! The food is excellent and I cannot wait to return the next time I am in town. A must stop for an Kansas City visitor.

We have been big fans of Lonnie McFadden's for a very long time. We loved seeing him at The Phoenix over the years and were so happy to hear about the Reno Club. It was a fabulous evening! It is a little pricey but the entertainment makes it more than worth it.

Lonnie's Reno Club offers a prix fixe menu and entertainment for a cost of $85/person. The food is very good, but would be overpriced if there were no entertainment. The real value is in the entertainment! Lonnie is a fantastic, very talented showman! A real throwback to the glory days of jazz! This is a definite repeat experience!

Wonderful dinner and Lonnie is a Kansas City treasure!! Everyone wore masks when not seated and tables were far apart. It’s a great place for some nice evening entertainment!

The show was fantastic! We loved our cozy corner booth. It’s a very intimate atmosphere. The food was just ok for the most part. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever eaten but not the worst either.

A very intimate club with great entertainment. The service and food was great. A little pricey, but if you are looking for a unique experience that you will remember forever, Lonnie's is the place.

This outing was a Gift and we were glad we went. We were nervous to dine out due to Covid but really enjoyed the evening.

Lonnie and his band were outstanding! He is a must see Kansas City legend! The four musicians are amazingly talented; truly a remarkable group. Lonnie has the energy of a 20 year old!

I highly recommend getting there before the show so you can eat ahead of the show and then take in the show uninterrupted.

The service staff from the doorway, to the bar staff, to the hostess and the wait staff were phenomenal!

The cocktails were lovely and so was the Sauvignon Blanc. I would stay away from the Pinot Noir though, it was not good.

The food was good, but nothing spectacular. It was overpriced for what you get. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. That being said, we would absolutely go back. The entertainment is worth every penny and then some.

It you haven't been to see one of KC's musical treasures then you need to go ASAP! It's a perfect intimate evening in a upscale environment. Lonnie And his band bring a level of class that can't be found anywhere else in KC. The pre fixed meal was excellent, the service attentive but not obtrusive.

Wow what a great place Lonnie has! While the food was good, their service was fantastic. I fact everything outshines the food. I wish I could remember our servers name because she needs special thanks. There was another server who also made sure our glasses were full. LET'S TALK LONNIE!! I had seen Lonnie and his brother a milliyun years ago. I have seen Lonnie many times by himself. To me he is as iconic as Charlie Parker and Count Basis to the Kansas City scene. I had the pleasure of bringing my Father to see Lonnie twice. My Dad was a Jazz lover and introduced me to Jazz at a young age. So when I brought Dad to see Lonnie he just loved the show. I got Dad one of Lonnies CDs and he put it into his Motorhome and played it a lot according to his wife. We lost Dad in 2017 and I posted it on Facebook. There were a lot of pictures including one of Dad His wife Denise, and Lonnie. Lonnie was so gracious he threw love our way. This made Denise very pleased as well as myself.
The show was fantastic! He sang, he danced and he told jokes and stories. I even sang along with "Rainbow Connection". It was a very fast 3 hours. He is still a gracious host and during the intermission posed for pictures and signed the CDs people were buying. One of my favorite parts was when he Brought his Brother Ronald up on stage and they did a number with both of them Singing and Dancing. Oh it made me feel so young again. They sang Mr. Bojangles. It was great. KANSAS CITY has a new place to go and I plan on going often.

We had the best time there and highly recommended for a fun night out with friends or your significant other. From the valet service to the welcome by wait staff, the food and service was outstanding and was such a good atmosphere. Of course the best part of the night was dancing to Lonnies amazing voice and beautiful quartet.
We will be back soon and have been telling all of our friends!

Unique entertainment experience. A ‘must see’ if you’re visiting KC ...

I want to give a big shoutout to my friend Lonnie Mcfadden. Last night my wife and I attended his performance at his new jazz club “Lonnie’s Reno Club” located in the Ambassador hotel here in downtown Kansas City. The grace, precision, professionalism let alone superior talent exhibited throughout the performance easily matched any performer I’ve ever seen (no joke). His humility, acknowledgement and appreciation of the legacy he represents was exhibited by photos of the great jazz artists of the past posted throughout the interior of the intimate club setting. If you’re looking for an evening of classy musical entertainment, take it from me Lonnie’s Reno Club is the place to go. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. And by the way, the dinner and personal service was superb!

What a wonderful experience we had. We were so grateful to have such a wonderful evening out. Would highly recommend!
