   Exceptional dining with a warm ambience; perfect for special occasions or just to enjoy. We had the salmon- skin was crispy, salty and juicy. The AAA steak hit the spot, served with charred asparagus and tender carrots along with boozy sauce - then homemade sorbet and chocolate medley for dessert.

   Celebrate a 30th birthday today. Loved the décor and the ambience. The waiting staff were outstanding. Would highly recommend this establishment.

   Went on a day after watching the ballet, cute quiet place went for dinner and drinks. The service is absolutely impeccable. They actually take the time out of their day to get to know you by name.

   -the place was clean -I book my reservation ahead and requested a window and I was seated in a corner with a wall. -my coffee was very cold -I mentioned that I booked a window the server said he would find out what happened because he did see I booked a window and never came back with an answer - our eggs were cold. - I did not gave refill of coffee -I did not think the value was there in the food for the money I paid. I was very 🙁 unhappy with my overall experience. -my sister and daughter were here on vacation and I was proud to bring them there and was very disappointed at the end.

    Service was definitely off tonight. I had a reso for two and they kept me waiting for over 30 mins as they “got my table ready” at the bar, while I could clearly see empty seats there. They even let others sit down before I finally asked why it was taking so long. Usually the service is good so I’m not sure what that was all about.

    We had my boyfriend’s birthday and the experience was amazing. We tried Royal brunch and we loved it. Service was absolutely amazing, food was fresh and pretty good portions. Definitely will come back

    Our server Mariam made our experience extra special... Very knowledgeable and listened to our needs. Everything we order was delicious. The 13 layer chocolate cake was to die for!! A must have!

    Well, this is one of those places where it costs a lot of money, but you actually get what you pay for. We had cocktails first at the bar before dinner. A perfect martini and efficient, friendly service. At dinner, our server was attentive and informative. There are wines here you can't get anywhere else. All of the food was to the high standard you would expect. My spouse commented on the lettuce in the caesar salad was as if it had just been picked. I had the lobster risotto, which had big tasty chunks of lobster which you don't normally see. The tiniest of complaints which did not detract in any significant way, was too much salt on the fries that came with my son's burger. Overall an excellent experience in line with the price tag.

    Beautiful venue to celebrate a special occasion. Service was excellent - efficient and helpful. Nice selection of appetizers and main courses. We were all pleased with our choices. Good wine selection but pricey. We ordered the chocolate cake to celebrate a family birthday and it didn’t disappoint. Would recommend!

    Went to the restaurant to celebrate with the birthday girl and Josh the waiter was the person who helped enhance the evenings experience. Very knowledgeable, offered suggestions and even surprised the birthday person with a complimentary little cake and some bubbly.

    If you want beautiful decor and something close to Union Station / downtown Toronto, this place is fine. That's just it, fine. We went for brunch and the food was very average considering the "luxury feel" of the room. The French toast was flavourless and dry *they forgot to bring the whipped cream that's included. The eggs benedict had a nice hollandaise but that's about it. The food wasn't bad, just very very very average. As for the service, it was polite but cold. Our waitress brought our bill to the table despite the fact that we weren't finished eating AND were looking to order coffee; it was not a crowded day and we felt like we were being rushed to clear the table, which is unfortunate since you're really there for the "ambiance" more than the food.

    Nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion! Bit overpriced but it's what you get at these kinda places. It's nice that they have halal options. Also they have a 2 hour seating limit which was inconvenient since we were celebrating a birthday and it felt very rushed.

    Amazing hosts, I booked for the available spot they had at the bar and asked them on the confirmation SMS to see if they could see if a table opens up, and when I got to the restaurant after being welcomed nicely they took me to the table instead of the bar. No questions asked, and service was super fast, amazing all around since the beginning. I came here 5-years ago and definitely a place I will keep coming for sure.

    The service was absolutely amazing. I think that was the best part. This as well as the ambience had me and my partner feeling like a million bucks. The drinks were also amazing. For the price they put the right amount of liquor. No need for a second drink! The food was also amazing I just wanted a hint of spice.

    Went for dinner to celebrate a birthday - from the moment we arrived the the level of service was perfect with the right amount of attention. Our server was terrific - she was attentive, friendly and helpful. The appetizer and our meals arrived beautifully presented. The Roasted Salmon main was amazing - a generous portion cooked perfectly and the Truffle Fries are worth the splurge. A shared chocolate dessert hit the spot and was beautifully decorated and flavourful. There wasn’t an empty seat in the place, and with the soaring ceilings, the level of chatter was a bit loud. It didn’t dampen our evening, but when we return it will be to a night earlier in the week so it’s a tad quieter. Looking forward to our next visit!

    The location has a great view, a very traditional upscale ambiance along with top notch food. I had the Halibut with Veggies and the fish with the sauce was very good. My colleague had the chicken and he too said it was excellent.

    My second time at Louix Louis. Per usual the service was outstanding We were celebrating a birthday and the staff signed a card and we were offered truffles. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness.

    Nice infrastructure and ambience. Service was perfect, Janna or Hanna was very helpful with suggesting some drinks and we had a great evening with the service. Drinks 4/5.Regarding Savoury dishes I would give a 4/5. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, we had a nice evening but we had higher expectation regarding the food. We had oysters and the sauce taste like canned food, lack of creativity. Burrata too little pesto, there is no fun having a burrata with two tiny dots of pesto and 3 pcs of dried tomato, even if the beets were perfectly cooked. I have to say that the truffle tortellini was perfectly made, creamy sauce, perfectly cooked and seasoned perfect. Burger was 10/10 and very tasty. Bread for service was absolutely perfectly baked like fresh from the oven and truffle butter perfect seasoning. When it comes to dessert it was a totally disappointment, we have the king’s cake , regular flavours nothing creative but when it comes to a 13-layered chocolate cake and pay 40$ for a big slice , what I expect to see is a perfect even layers of chocolate cake. The cake we had was like made by homebaker. Very very uneven layers at least have good flavours otherwise I would have send it back. hope to see a great cake properly assemble next time.

    Dan out of Baileys for coffee. Portions very small, left not hungry but neither full. Prices $$$$ -expected however, would expect overall food, experience and service to match and it didn’t. Wouldn’t recommend to others.
