   This is our third time coming to this establishment—our second for brunch. While the food is amazing and we enjoy the ambience, each visit we have been met with abnormally long wait times between seating and being greeted by waitstaff. Today, we asked to sit outside and it took almost 10 minutes for someone to greet us and bring us water after being sat. The table beside us sat down after us and was almost immediately greeted. The server for that table and the one furthest from us did not ever greet us. While we may not have been in their sections, you’d think they’d be cognizant of surrounding tables. We were finally greeted, but only after we noticed pointing in our direction from the hosts and other servers. Our server, Marissa, was nice and the experience was enjoyable. But we continue to run into this long wait time with multiple servers. It makes us hesitant to bring other guests.

   This was the 2nd time at Louvino. We tried some new dishes and revisited old favorites. The steak and frites were somewhat disappointing this time, as they weren't the same quality as they had been. The scallops and green fried tomatoes, however, were as amazing as ever. The gnocchi, a new (to us) dish was incredible: however, we were left wondering if all of the portion had somehow not made its way onto our plate. The serving would not have been nearly sufficient for a child, and the cost of the dish was $22. For that, I expected more. By the time we split the dish, we each had what would have amounted to maybe 1/4 a cup. And then there's the noise. It was extremely noisy - to the point that conversation at the table was difficult. However, the food was delicious, and the service was great, and we'll still return, despite the negative.

   Louvino's was a pleasant surprise and a great little gem in the heart of OTR Cincinnati. The steak and Frites and the Filet Diane Tournedos were wonderful. We finished it off with the beignets with a bourbon chocolate sauce. Delicious. Kudos to the bartender for making the best old-fashioned I've ever had!

   My husband and I went to Louvino before the FC Cincinnati game. Our food was delicious and the service was great. I had a small glass of Pinot Grigio, and it was good, and the price was good for the quantity. We had the tater tots appetizer, and they tasted great and were hot. We especially liked the sauce that came with them. My husband got the beef sliders, and they were good, but it would be better if something was served with them instead of just 2 small burgers. French fries or a salad would have been fine. I had the scallops on fried green tomatoes, and they were wonderful. I got 3 scallops and 2 slices of fried green tomatoes. We love the quality of the food, but we wish that the meal were more complete. The waitress said something about tapas or the restaurant switching to tapas and entrees, so that might help. The small portions were sharable, but I don't think of them as tapas. I would like a menu with more selections and the option to have sides with the meals. We spent more than seemed appropriate for the small portions. The total bill, with tip, was about $75. If I hadn't gotten the wine, and we hadn't gotten the appetizer, we still would have spent $55 for 2 beef sliders, 3 scallops, and 2 slices of friend green tomatoes. It just seems like the meal would have been more complete with side dishes. Once again, the food quality was outstanding!

   The brunch menu was fantastic and the iced coffee was amazing (usually restaurants don’t have great iced coffee). Note that the portion sizes are small on the entrees but the prices reflect the portion sizes (not expensive).

    I took my mother to brunch for Mother’s Day and it was great! Loved the selection on the menu for that was specific for the occasion, ambiance was relaxed and nice, we will be back to try out dinner !

    For an establishment that reminds you that you have 5 minutes to turn up for your reservation, the speed of service was pretty dismal. Nothing was quick. Kids and I had water - no refill, wife had a couple drinks that took way too long to receive.

    Love this place but yesterday it took 20 mi utes to get a drink. Server forgot to pick them up. My food was ice cold and had so much garlic I could not eat. I should have complained but my son thought his food was edible so I just picked at mine. He was starving since it took forever to get it. This has been a tradition and I won’t return again.     Went here for Mother's Day brunch. Weren't a whole lot of basic options available for my teenage picky kids so they ended ordering the taco pancakes and not eating most of them. Pretty pricey $30/person waste of money. Waitress was nice and responsive. They stuck us downstairs - wished we would have been upstairs - brighter and more lively. Food was okay, but for $30/person I could have gone to Ihop and eaten much better and whole family would have been happy. Maybe worth trying on a non-fixed brunch menu to give it a chance.

    It’s really too bad because I’ve had good experiences there before. I think they just struggle when they have a prefix menu for some reason. Our croissants were overdone, and my mom’s Brussels sprouts weren’t cleaned properly beforehand. The donuts weren’t bad, but the texture felt like they had been sitting for a while, not super fresh like I’ve had from them before, because normally I love their donuts. Like I said, normally I’m very impressed with their food, this time just fell a little flat.

    every time i come here i have a great experience and the food is always phenomenal. this time was a little different. our server kept walking past us during our time there but would look at us and walk by. it took forever to put our order in and to get drinks. every time we’d look around to see where she was, she was on her phone or scrolling on her apple watch. when i ordered my drink i got a very very small champagne glass size mixed drink. when i got my second drink, it was in a large wine glass (2-3x the size of the first) my boyfriend also told the server that it was my birthday and she said okay cheesecake or another option. i said i would like the cheesecake but what kind is it? she said just vanilla. i got the cheesecake and there was chocolate and fruit on it. I have a very severe nut allergy so i asked if the crust was made of nuts and she didn’t know and acted annoyed from that point on. again, just waiting forever to get our check. then forever again to pay. just a disappointing experience. we loved when we would always get a server that would tell us the special drinks and when we get a flight, tell us which each one was and what food they recommend. hopefully next time is a better experience.

    First time here. Arrived early prior to a concert at Music Hall. Hostess accommodated us (table for two) initially on the main floor, which was noisier than expected, then offered us a downstairs table that might be quieter. This turned out not the case due to several large parties seated in the smaller space. Not the noisiest restaurant I've ever been, but not one for quiet conversation. The food was excellent and arrived hot and in good time - we ordered two beef dishes which were delicious - portions modest. A beignet desert was awesome. Wine selection very good. Our server was excellent even though she was stretched thin between upper and lower level duties. We'll be back - with friends.

    We have been servers times and service is always slow between the initial sitting down and before the server/bartender comes to greet and take drink orders. It’s also confusing on who the server is before they introduce themselves.

    This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it. Everyone got different meals and the food was absolutely amazing. Everyone had to share a taste of what they got. I do think the portions could be bigger, but for the price it makes sense. Very reasonable. We loved it and will be back!

    Downtown Cincinnati on a Tuesday night? Dead!! The weather was pretty good, so it wasn't the weather. It's as though all that progress in the OTR just came to a stop. I hope it was an anomaly. The restaurant also felt dead. When we arrived at 7, it was half full but by the time we left, almost empty. No buzz at all. And the price was just a little too steep, maybe because we have just returned from Budapest where dining out was totally different (more food, smaller prices). One of the best meals of our lives was $62 in Budapest; last night's meal was $90 with no appetizers or dessert.

    Upon arrival, as soon as we walked in, there was live music playing. The place was clean and we were greeted fairly quickly. From there, it started to go downhill. We sat at our table for 15-20 minutes(no exaggeration). Our waitress appeared to be stressed and overworked. The food was extremely good. With a little better service, this would have been a perfect night out.

    Celebrating my mother and brother bdays, went to brunch before going to see a show. Our server seemed very frazzled and forgot everything many times over. The food did make its way out and it was all correct and good, The server really made it an off putting experience and she knew it and tried to apologize (probably having a really bad morning) We will be back again because the food was good and the place is always so busy there has to be more to it.

    Another perfect meal at Louvino. Steak Diane, Hot Brown mac & cheese, loaded tater tots, bacon wrapped dates all to kill for. Old fashioned, side-car cocktails and wine flight (special Reds flight that night) were terrific. Molly, our server/bartender was particularly wonderful. She did an amazing job.

    Brunch is always so delicious! The croissant is my absolute fav. However, I was a tad disappointed that they were out of the Eggs Benedict, which had salmon and something else as the chefs special. The male bartender is always great.     We went to Louvino OTR for a wine tasting and dinner after. The wine tasting was fun and we were told they were going to do them monthly! Great fun! Then our party of 7 had dinner (10% off food because of attending the wine tasting). Everything was wonderful! The tots are awesome! The scallops are tender!
