Surprisingly quiet at Luc’s for obvious reasons but the food was great, the service was friendly and efficient. Let’s hope we can all get back to normal so that great places like Luc’s are full again
We were sat at the very top of the restaurant up a very steep staircase. The service was excellent and attentive and ensured glasses were topped up. The food matched the service with an excellent menu. For the quality of the meal the price was reasonable. Will be returning again soon.
I’ve had many nice meals here and so I’m sad to say this one was awful. The worst onglet I’ve ever had and the second worse steak in ages only surpassed by the place at the top of the walkie talkie
So fair play they didn’t charge me which is all I’d expect. Every place has the odd hiccup and the rest of it was good so I’d go back
Great food and wine, in a great location. My only negative was that it was very busy so quite noisy for a business lunch.
Beautiful, quiet restaurant with delicious evening menu.
Food very expensive
Wine very expensive
I have been eating here for the last 25 years and it still has the same old feel of a bustling Parisienne Brasserie
Always cracking for a good business lunch. Service was good. Food was good. Great vibe.
I'd like to see more french wine options for better value.
Luc's is a classic French brasserie with a good value prix fixe menu. It's the best value if you are a meat eater and can enjoy the steak frites. We tried the salmon cakes which are okay but not quite up the steak. Staff is very attentive.
Really good food and service, fairly loud though so can be difficult to talk
A reliable restaurant; food was ok, but could have been better. One of my guests ordered snails which were almost impossible to get out of their shells...
Excellent food and service
Excellent lunch. Service was excellent and the food also. Great Steak and the french fries are superb
Great experience. My colleague (who hadn’t been before) was very impressed.
I really love a French Brasserie menu so Luc's is right up my street.
Thank you so much to the ladies who waited on us. Great service.
Classic French cooking in nice surroundings. Friendly efficient service all makes for a very pleasant dining experience.
Cracking as always. Great food. Great service. Good ambience
Lovely french brasserie at leadenhall in city of london.
Dinner with our very good friends. Food and service were very good. Atmosphere was little too quiet. Think this would be great for lunches.
Waitresses were great. They were very attentive without being 'in your face'. No trouble asking for tap water and waitress bought 2 extra side plates when we said we were sharing the starters. Food was good although I didn't feel the goats curd salad starter worked. The wine seemed over priced for what it was, but I guess you are in the heart of the city.
Luc’s is clearly a very popular venue. However, maximising income by placing tables a few inches apart makes for a very difficult place to have any meaningful conversation. The noise level was very high as everyone seemed to compete with everyone else to be heard over the general commotion.
Delicious food, friendly staff and lovely ambience.
Service good, room is nicely laid out, food was good solid brasserie style cooking...
Very prompt service, excellent choice of food and well presented. Might suggest more of a low alcohol drink selection as Becks seemed to be all that was available. Very efficient service. Would recommend
First visit to Luc's with a work colleague.
The 3 course fixed-price menu was exceptional. Will definately be returning.
great food and atmosphere , always good fun and pleasant time
buzzing lovely lunch venue always busy, but staff very attentive and efficient. Quality food and wines and the manager Mo and his staff are friendly and welcoming.
Always a real pleasure to visit Luc’s. One of the most consistently good value restaurants in the City doing the basics very well.
I already have recommended this to friends and have visited many times before.
It never fails to disappoint.
Great food as always and the service is always friendly. My pigeon was fantastic and the lamb just as good. See you soon hopefully.
Very atmospheric brasserie restaurant nestled within London's Leadenhall Market. The food here is very good and portion sizes are decent. The main menu makes for a pricey lunch, but there is also a fixed price menu with good options where you'll get change out of £25 for a 3 course meal.
Super experience. Brilliant spot to entertain clients. Food didn’t quite live up to the venue, but was still pretty good! Thank you
Great food and great location. Highly recommended for a business lunch.
Whilst relatively pricey (if you have half decent wine) it still delivers consistently. A Leadenhall Market/Lloyd's institution.
Constant favourite but time for a change. Food ok but resting on their laurels a bit
Extremely unhappy with Luc’s. I booked a table on 2nd January for my 30th birthday, the booking was confirmed and then when we got to the restaurant it was closed. Awful and very disappointing.
First time to visit. Lovely ambience, lovely views over Leadenhall Market. Good choice on the menu, all food was delicious. Good wine list. Good friendly service from Monica. Will definitely come back.
Meeting for a family get together, we favoured the City area and Leadenhall is a favourite venue. Luc's just fits into this whole idea - good food, plenty of space, great staff. Just an excellent place to meet up.
