   We were there for the happy hour. It was slow getting oysters, they ran out of wine glasses so we had wine in a bar glass. Once we got by those things, the oysters were great, the small Caesar salad perfect and the brisket slider were excellent. Our server was superb. I would definitely recommend it.

   I wanted to love Ludlow and Prime, but there was nothing special about it. In fact, it was underwhelming. We were seated for at least 20 minutes before we received waters, and our bar drinks and wine didn’t come for at least another 15 minutes. The appetizers, oysters, artichoke dip and shrimp cocktail were okay; sadly, the dip wasn’t warm. We didn’t fair much better with our entrees. The blue cheese buttered filet had potential. Unfortunately, two of the three steaks were way over cooked and the sides were lukewarm. The steak fritz was the best entree and the pasta was ok. My husband’s fried chicken came out 15-20 minutes after all the other entrees were served. There was no explanation or even an apology for it being brought out so late. The most disappointing part was the overall service and experience. For a $500 meal (over $600 with tip) I just expect more. The Nashville area has too many good restaurants to take a chance on Ludlow and Prime again.

   Happy hour food was great - truffle fries, wedge salad. Dinner service was lacking - we had to ask for menus after being seated at our table, we had to search for the waitress to get our bill. Scallops were good. Crabcakes were just ok and not very hot. Recommend only for happy hours and light bites.

   Most of the food was good. Service was below average. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks. We only received two of the four appetizers we ordered. It will be hard to go back. Hope they can find an experienced manager to get them up to par.

    Excellent service. Food was incredible. The filet with the blue cheese butter and red wine Demi glaze was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. My wife loved her meal too. Highly recommend.

    We were excited to try L&P. Unfortunately we did not see a server for about 10 min after being seated. After waiting 30 min to order we had to leave in order to make it to a show. Willing to try again when we have hours to eat. Poor rating on food only because we never got to try any.

    Cocktails were good and the server was very, very sweet. Brussels sprouts were excellent, jumbo shrimp cocktail was good, scallops were good. Downhill from there. Very overpriced for the mediocre quality. Lobster roll used frozen lobster & was not an authentic Maine roll by any stretch. Fillet was waaay to salty & not very flavorful. Overall would not recommend. There are tons of other places you can get a much better meal. We spent nearly $200 on three of us (no dessert) and I would rate the food very low. The food runner dropped a scallop on one of our party’s leg and stained his pants - brought another scallop but not offer to clean the pants! I’d put the food on par with Logan’s Roadhouse, but they are charging prices in the Morton’s/Flemings range. Definitely not worth it.

    The worst dining experience I've had ever. It hurt me to pay 163.13 for my bill. Service was horrid. Food wasn't right from the get go. Wife's Filet was ordered medium she got it rare, my NY Strip was ordered mid rare, I got it medium+. We ordered the App Brussels as a side with the steaks...it came without the reduction or pancetta. My old-fashioned was all bitters, and my wife's margarita (ordered with no salt) was a glass of lime juice rimmed with salt. Really had high hopes for L&P... let down. I hope my $164 goes toward highering a competent chef and more attentive servers. Absolutely absurd.

    Apologies! You were unpleaseant to serve & had issues with everything from the start. Didn't like your table - we got you a perfect one. Didn't like your cocktail,we made one that you loved. Strip came out slighty over cooked, we graciously made another which you finished completely. Hope your next $164 goes towards you aquiring more class than sass because you didn't have it here. We overspent for you, we hope you re-attend the palces you are comfortable in dining. Thanks for your feedback!

    The service was excellent. We ordered one steak entree and a seafood. My wife said her steak was one of the very best steaks she has had in Nashville. The seafood was superb. Comparing what I consider to be comparable high-end restaurants, this one is good value.

    I went back taking my friends this time, since I had a great experience with Adriane the waitress before, this time I was very surprised when my waitress told us we couldn’t order wine from the table, we had to get up and go to the bar to order something to drink, not only that, we had to pay at the bar, that was very inconvenient, i had never experienced anything like that before, normally you can enjoy your dinner ordering wine or whatever you’re going to have without having to go to the bar to get it your self.

    We made reservations for 3 for my bday. They put us in a 2 person booth. We asked to move to a table. The hostess reluctantly moved us. The waitress was very nice. She took our drink orders and cheese board appetizer order, but didn’t return for 45 min. We ended up leaving before ordering another drink or our dinner meals bc we didn’t want to end up being there for 2-3 hrs. We left and got dinner at Uncle Julio’s instead. The waitress was really nice, but the restaurant was way too busy to be able to take care of their customers well.

    We had a reservation and once we were seated we waited for 15 minutes to be greeted. I was served room temperature vodka when I ordered a martini and my husband and I ordered three courses and none of them were served at the same time. We had a babysitter so we could eat together and it still didn’t happen. We both ordered steaks and they were grossly over cooked. I asked to speak to the manager who I saw walking around the whole Time we were there and he refused. I wasn’t rude but wanted to share how disappointing our experience was and did have the chance. It was expensive and not just disappointing but exhausting bc there was something wrong with every single this that was served. Would not recommend.

    We had a large group of 20 girls and the servers were very accommodating. Our steaks were delicious but the Salmon was the biggest hit. The atmosphere is fun & vibrant. We all enjoyed our cocktails. It was our favorite experience dining out on our trip to Nashville!

    The rating for Ludlow&Prime does not match the experience that we just had. The best thing that I can say about the restaurant was the nice interaction by the greater and the 4 count rolls. The staff was short handed, which could have possibly explain the delays from of our service. There was literally a 15 min gap between every time the waitress checked on us. It was not just our table but everyone guest in our area. The food is sub par and please do not order the catfish unless you want it on a bed of rice and topped with soggy coleslaw. When we asked about the order the waitress had no idea why it was made that way but it was “or order”. I would recommend this place to friends until adequate staffing adjustments have been made and the crew better understands the menu. Also, not that it matters but none of the chairs in the dining area matched. It almost like the took salvaged chairs from the dumpster and just made it work. We apologized to the young lady who worked the door tonight as I feel she was the best part of our experience. I hoped she continues to be recognized! Definitely not worth the rating

    The service was off. We called earlier in day to change our reservation and they said yes on phone - when we arrived they could not accommodate us. Our option was wait or sit in bar. We sat in bar. The service was off compared to prior experiences. Good wasn’t prepared correctly - steak overcooked , salmon undercooked,drink not correct. - had to ask for knives. They were out of a few wines and sprite. Totally off their game. They need to work on this or will loose local loyal Brentwood customers!

    The food was amazing even though there were several options that were unavailable. What we did get we absolutely loved. Some of our favorites were the gorilla peppers, Brussel sprouts, truffle lobster mac & cheese. The red fish & filet were so good as well. What we were extremely disappointed in was that our server completely disappeared after the initial meeting & drink order. We were there for almost 45 min before she ever came back to deliver drinks & take our order. We had to ask someone to get her to come back. She never apologized or gave any explanation when she finally came back. She continued to disappear multiple times throughout the evening. I had made this reservation back in February so I’m not sure what the problem was. Of course she got 20% gratuity from each of us as well, which I don’t believe she deserves or earned at all. I also understand they are possibly understaffed like most places are these days but we were stuck there for 3 hours & really with no courtesy to explain or apologize. That is why this rating is so low.

    Tried for the 1st time last night; Our waitress was hardly seen. Took 20+ mins for water to show up at table. A single small crab cake was $20… boyfriend ordered the 16oz Ribeye medium rare and it came out well done…. I got the Crawfish Étouffée and it was actually decent, not too spicy. Probably won’t be back due to over all experience. Outback would have been a better experience food wise.
