   Great service. Food was excellent - great pasta & an abundance of Manila clams in my dish. Ravioli with osso bucco for my wife was fabulous as well.

   Went to Lupo Verde for a dinner and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great, services was friendly and the food was fantastic. It was so hard to choose a dish, but we ended up with the short rib ravioli (soooo good) and the pescatora. Honestly could have ordered one of everything. Highly recommend this place!

   The service and food were great! And the waiter was very good about watching our time for us since we had to go to the theater. Would definitely recommend and will go there again.

   The bruschetta appetizer, namely the mushroom crostini, was inedible. The risotto was just bad, which for $36, is disappointing. The fettuccine entrees were ok, but that didnt make up for the rest. Would not recommend considering the other Italian options in the City.

    We LOVE this spot! Every time we go if somehow gets better and better. My Fiancé and I went on our first date here back in 2019 & just moved back to the area. We knew we had to bring our family in town to experience the amazing food, vibe & service!!!

    Good vibes and ambiance and great service but the food is definitely not that good for how much it costs. I wouldn’t go back here. But their pizza place next door is pretty good!

    I had dinner and it was by far the best authentic Italian dinner ive had in dc. The hostess was very sweet and my waiter was knowledgeable of the menu . The food was incredible and the presentation was nicely executed . Mr.lupo made sure we had a good experience and his hospitality was in true italian fashion . will be back 100%

    The chicken dish I ordered was terrible. It was the only one on the menu. The dish was half a chicken cut lengthwise with little to no meat. The sweet potato was cold as if it had been sitting in a refrigerator. Then an egg shell had been hollowed out and inside, there was a salty sauce. The whole dish was a mess. Nothing fit together.

    Our dinner was unfortunately disappointing. The appetizer (eggplant caprese) and one entree (linguine with lobster) lacked flavor, and the lobster was very over cooked and tough. The homemade pasta was over cooked as well. For the price paid, this was far below our expectations.

    We went back for dinner after having a nice experience 3 years ago. The atmosphere and service are great although I wish they'd play better music. The disappointing part was the food. The burrata appetizer was the star of the meal. The fried artichoke was interesting with a nice sauce. The big draw for us was the homemade pasta. Unfortunately, it wasn't anything special. The Tagiolini Tartufo (truffle) pasta was very bland and needed seasoning. The seafood Tagiolini (pescadera?) was better but we've had better. I was disappointed by the food but the service was very good and the food all came out quickly. Drinks and apps would be fun but we won't be back for a full dinner.

    Not family friendly. Despite making a reservation and requesting a highchair ahead of time, no highchair was available and my family was seated outside in an area that was clearly designated to hide away parties with children. I've brought my son to several restaurants and have never encountered such poor and rude service. We ended up going to Mi Vida across the street and had a much better experience.

    This is absolutely not the same as their sister restaurant on MacArthur Blvd. The food is not anywhere close in comparison, despite having the same menu options. Birthday reservation was never acknowledged, and we never got credit for our reservation. Above all else, the food was the biggest disappointment.

    Staff was great, food was not. Very inconsistent, some at our party had well cooked squid, with others it was very overdone. Same with the pasta, pricing and portions were very good. Hosts and waitstaff as well. The only problem was the food was not executed well.

    This was easily the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. We booked a reservation for 2 thinking we’d be going from Baltimore to dc for the feast of seven fishes for Xmas eve. I booked something called “standard” on OpenTable not knowing what that meant but happy to get a reservation for my fav holiday of the year. We arrive to be seated street side in a rented off section with a few heat lamps…in 18 degree weather. Wtf. Then I’m told if we wanted to do seven fishes dinner that it had to be pre-ordered, which was not advertised anywhere I read. We were seated at 5:30 and didn’t get our meal until 7pm…which would have been tolerated during the holiday season but I felt I was hood winked into a two hour car ride to not have the meal I signed up for.

    Asked for indoor seating but was put on their patio. While there was a small heater and it was fully enclosed we did wear our jackets and hats the entire time. The food was VERY good but the portion was smaller than I would have hoped for the price.

    We loved the pasta dishes - the short rib ravioli was delicious. We were seated inside which was a bit cozy downstairs by the bar. The cheese platter was also yummy as well as the lava cake.

    We always love Lupo Verde, and this trip for my dad’s birthday didn’t disappoint. This pasta was excellent as always, but the Bronzino entree was truly amazing. Would highly recommend!
