We really enjoyed our meal at Mad Frans, the service was brilliant and friendly, will be returning after lockdown

This is our 3rd visit , but this time we brought our children & in laws for dinner also. Everyone enjoyed their meals I must admit the beef dinner with a side of cauliflower cheese was probably the best Sunday dinner I’ve. We will see you after lockdown 😃

Oh my days, the food was amazing, the atmosphere as well.. I will 100% return. The staff were soo welcoming and attentive! It was just abit cold in the bar itself, and the front door was open but it didn’t stop us enjoying a lovely Sunday afternoon together

Went to Mad Frans on Friday with my girlfriend. Cue hd the risotto and I had the sirloin steak. Food was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and we even got a free round of drinks. Will definitely go back

we booked a table for 4 on the sunday as a treat for a birthday. The place was empty as we were maybe the first booking. Shown to our table and ordered drinks and the food which was truly fantastic. the only let down were the toilets which were really dirty which my dad told the waitress. Great place, great food and would have gave it 5 stars but for the toilet.

Bottomless Prosecco Afternoon tea little quiet when we arrived at 12 30 but filled up later. Staff very friendly and attentive we were very well looked after. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

The Roast dinner was the best we have had in a long time.

Service was good, our server was really pleasant and attentive but food average. Appreciate it's perhaps quiet time of year but wouldn't rush back. Doesn't have the welcome feel as you approach it.

The lunchtime we went they seemed a bit understaffed. Food was very good, but peas were a bit cold by time they were served. Also music was a bit loud for a lunchtime. Overall though food was good and restaurant is clean and nice. Would go back.

We had eagerly anticipated our meal here as we had great experiences of Gary’s cooking in the past. The new venue did not disappoint, with probably our best Sunday lunch of the year. All reasonably priced with an interesting selection of wines. We will certainly be back and will recommend to family & friends.

We really enjoyed the vibe of Mad Frans, it was really relaxed and the staff were super nice.

The food was absolutely amazing!!!! My 12 year old lad finished his Sunday roast and said it was the best beef he’s ever had.....(not sure the wife was happy about that statement lol) I’ve got to say I agree with him but didn’t want to say in front of the wife..

We enjoyed it that much I’ve booked for 40 of my friends to have a bottomless brunch there in January...

Outstanding food in a brilliant environment. First class experience that I would recommend to everyone.
