Was turned away by a horribly rude member of staff who insisted I hadn’t booked a table even though I showed him the confirmation email I had with my booking. No apology, nothing. Horrible service. Then even had the cheek to mark us as a ‘no show’

We had a lovely evening and a nice meal ,the only complaint was where we were seated was not particularly warm and consequently the food didn't stay hot by the time we had finished

Excellent quality food with a great choice. Good valu for money with friendly staff, in an excellent setting.
I would definitely give this restaurant a try.

Great setting for a special occasion.

Nice to see local dishes on the menu, friendly service, great value set menu and the fish dishes excellent. My favourite dish was the chowder main course.

Lovely staff...always made to feel very welcome and that you are the only ones in the room...food great...good menu selection...nice wine menu...it never fails to please...that has to be good

My friends and I were greeted with welcomes from the young women who wait on there. We were shown to a nice table and invited to order drinks. We did as we usually do, ordered the House Red Wine. This was delicious and we subsequently ordered a second bottle. We each had different meals and really enjoyed them all, there were clean plates all round. We did not had desserts a we felt full enough, but we had twoCapuccinos and two Irish Coffees. The staff were helpful and cheerful and they made our visit very pleasant.

We booked on the spur of the moment and was surprised to be able to book a table for 4 on a Saturday night 2 weeks before Christmas. Not really sure what to expect but everything about the evening was wonderful. The food was superb, the staff were very attentive and the price was fantastic. Our visitors from London could not believe the quality of the food for the cost.

I have been here several times and always the food is to excellent standard and taste...there is also a good choice of dishes.
