Majordōmo Meat & Fish
This was one of the best meals I've had in my 39 years of eating. The black cod was most definitely the best fish dish I've ever had, and I love fish so it blew me away. I can't stop thinking about it.
Are here during ConExpo with a party of 11 people. They are very accommodating. You have to understand the menu to enjoy the experience. The portions are based around sharing. If you are unfamiliar then ask your server. They have some good guidance. The second time eating here in a week I can recommend the beef short rib, the French dip, and definitely the snapper. For apps the beef tartare is some of the best I ever had. For desert do not forget the donut. That is so awesome. I really enjoy this restaurant.
Had a fantastic dinner at Majordomo. Service was great as well. We had Bing with the tartar and butter which was fantastic. We followed this up with the whole fried fish and the beef short rib. I can’t say enough about the different flavors and presentation. The tartar was so good it surpassed any expectations. I can’t wait to go back next time I am in Vegas. And.... don’t forget the dessert! It was like bananas fosters but with Krispy Kreme donuts!
I felt insulted how expensive it was.
I’m disappointed in David Chang for this level of greed.
I know he’s just a figure head but his name is still on it.
Sommelier Sean was very good. Wait staff was good but when main meal came, prime rib was cold. So unfortunate. Underwhelmed and pricey
Amazing! Not to be missed!
Great seafood and flatbread. Had lobster salad and sashimi/oysters/shrimp platter. Fresh, meaty was really good.
Unfortunately...........Worst Steak I have had in a Vegas steakhouse. I'm in Vegas 15 times a year and eat at all the top steak houses (Bazaar, Bavettes, T-Bones) regularly and this was simply awful. Steak was way under seasoned, sear was poor, lacked salt, was exceptionally fatty and whoever carved that steak did it with hatchet. It was cut so poorly, far too thick, some weird cut off the bone it was a mess. $130 ribeye we took about 5 bites of it and was done.
Would I return? I doubt it....maybe to eat seafood solely as we liked the atmosphere and seafood was pretty spot on. Walking through the kitchen was a good little treat to get to the table but $450 tab to have that poor of a steak was a huge let down. If you are going to spend the money for a steak go to Bazaar, T-Bones or Mastros and stay safe with seafood at this place.
The service was great. I had the lobster salad and my husband had the strip steak. The steak was excellent!
Lemon drop cocktail had a beautiful presentation and was delicious.
I can't recommend dining here enough. The menu is deceptively complex -- it looks basic, until the server explains the "cheese" you're going crazy over is actually specially fermented chickpeas, or the butter has been cave-aged in a special place 500 feet below Brooklyn. The story behind the food matters, and Majordomo delivers.
Unbelievable. Food was jaw dropping. Service was incredible.
Delicious food and excellent service. We had the beef short ribs, which were carved table side, then the fat cap and trimmings were made into the accompanying beef rice, an added bonus. The house-made tofu with uni was a revelation, and bing flatbread with egg and smoked trout roe surpassed the simple menu description. Our main criticism is that the food was very expensive by any standard, even considering the labor-intensive preparations and quality of ingredients. Wines we've ordered elsewhere were marked up considerably here. We had a little trouble finding the restaurant, which had been described as being in the Venetian, although it was at the Palazzo, but we would happily return, perhaps after a big night of winnings in the casino.
First time to visit; food was outstanding as was the service!
Taste profile where complex on all that we ordered, did not like the tank in the dinning room. It is extremely sad to see the crustaceans trying so hard to get out and the hopelessness of all of that effort. There was a crab that got so close to reaching the top edges several times and what lies on the other side of the tank is still it’s demise.
Some of the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant. They were utterly clueless, which shocked me, as I've eaten at numerous David Chang properties. We had a reservation for 8:30 that we showed up a couple minutes early for. They told us to come back at res time - no big deal. But when we returned our table still wasn't ready (though the restaurant didn't look full) and they told us to wait in the bar. This is where things got weird, and they started to act like we were going to be served in the bar area, which is frustrating since we had the res for months. We had to be firm that we'd booked an actual table. Once we were seated, we had three separate people come by. I still don't know who our waiter was. We were trying to order additional drinks and were completely ignored, and finally had to ask the bus boy to hunt down someone for us. Even running our credit cards at the end took 10 minutes. It felt like it was a restaurant run by clueless first time restaurateurs rather than part of a restaurant empire. Much better service is available at a TGIFridays or at David Chang's slider place just outside. There we the employees were friendly and competent. The food was better too!
