Great food but too expensive

It is so nice to be able to eat delicious traditional high level French cuisine with impeccable discreet French service in a calm beautiful setting that the owner Charles has also secured for outside dining. The attention to detail is highly noticeable and much appreciated.

During a Pandemic or any time why would you upon entering arrogantly look us up and down and say, "You've never eaten here have you?" What a way to welcome us! Don't you appreciate the business nowadays? We have actually dined with you 4 times and stayed on property once. We were happy to move to the terrace where the service was wonderful hence the better review.

Salad was not good, entree was just okay and dessert was not very good. Decor was magnificent and the table was alright. Off night at the restaurant.

One of the best New York City meals I’ve ever had. We sat outside on a November Saturday evening when the temperature was in the high 60s. Service was fantastic. Appetizers entrée and dessert second to none. If you haven’t been to many restaurants in the last few months this is one you’ve got to try.

For an elevated dining experience in the pandemic that not only feels "normal," but makes you feel like you've stepped on a plane to Europe, look no further than Majorelle. Service was impeccable and dining room includes distanced tables, air purifiers and plexiglass barriers plus doors that open onto an internal courtyard for exceptional circulation. Quality of the food was excellent and the pre fixe menu has myriad options to meet every taste palate. The wine recommendations were amazing and while we chose to splurge, you didn't have to with many reasonably priced options available on the wine list. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a place to celebrate comfortably and safely.

Majorelle never fails to deliver superb food elegant ambience and unparalleled customer service. It is my favorite spot in the city. Will be a loyal customer for many years ! They know how to make to tailor the experience! Fabulous

Fabulous time here on Friday night - so glad that they opened up. Everyone felt very comfortable. Lobster was very tasty and prepared to perfection. Superb pan seared cod special. Enjoyed the rosti with roe. Looking forward to going again next week.

This classy although certainly a bit pricey restaurant has done all the right moves with regards to safety and to make the experience as pleasant as can be. Loved the food, the service and the ambiance

The room is beautiful and the tables are safely spaced. Noise level is low, possibly because the tables are spaced out due to Covid. Service is excellent. The food is quite good and classically French. The quenelles are ethereal if available. Three course fixed price menu, but several items upcharged like the Dover sole. Dessert soufflé quite good. Nice place for an intimate celebration.

Delicious food & great service. Highly recommend! The only issues, as like all restaurants trying to deal with the new normal, the outdoor seating is a challenge with having a table on the sidewalk and people walking by without masks. Would love if all the restaurants had something as simple as a sign saying put on your mask to walk through. Also, had to deal with mosquitos.

Outstanding staff. Beautiful giant floral arrangements. Excellent food. Tables inside in early October spaced 10 feet apart. Very professional restaurant.
