Pros: Food, decor and service was great, and delicious cocktails.
Cons: Extremely loud (on Sat night anyway). Also the price and size of the special wasn’t explained, and so we over ordered.

Best Mexican in Brisbane. Very authentic but also has some inventive features. Very good catering foe vegan and vegetarian. Excellent tequila and mescal range too.

Everything is always fabulous at Mama Taco. The goats cheese was phenomenonal. The sweet pepper taco was hot and tasty. And the margaritas were the perfect amount of ice cold and s-s-salty. Love this place. It's hard to go anywhere else when I visit Brisbane.

As always, the staff at Mama Taco provided impeccable service and delivered beautiful eats and drinks. Special mention to Ted, the most charming and savvy waiter imaginable and Carlos for the heavenly Margaritas. One of the top dining experiences in Brisbane hands down!

We had high hopes and we’re not disappointed. Both the food and service was exceptional. It is noisy and vibrant, so don’t expect a romantic evening, but it was perfect for our table. Try the Mezcal and tonic; the passion of our waiter, as to the DOC and how it’s made, gave me the impetus to try it. So very different, but so very delicious. Highly recommend; we’ll be returning.

Excellent food and service. Not particularly comfortable chairs and there is some traffic noise. That’s being tough though. The owner (I assume) and staff were very welcoming and attentive. The flavours and presentation were different to any Mexican I’ve had before. Everything was very fresh and tasty. My Magharita was perfect! Well worth a look.

The food is so well made, great choice of Mezcal or tequila and cocktails but mo importantly the service from the Maître’D was sensational. He really made it that much better experience. Thank you to all the staff for a great evening.

I had booked a table outside and they had us seated inside with a wall 30cm from our face. There was a table available outside which we moved to. Seating not the most comfortable as the stools are too high for table we were seated at. Food was tasty and service was very good. Will definitely be back.

I’m a chef and this food is exceptional. I have been here three time in the last two weeks! It’s creative, fresh, delicious and overall beautiful service. Will continue to go back and introduce all my friends to the hottest new spot in Brisbane! Truly phenomenal 💕

I went for dinner midweek and we were seated outside. Service was 10/10 and the cocktails were lovely. The food was great but a tad pricey, although great GF options for our gluten free friends. The outdoor dining chairs get a bit uncomfortable after a while. I enjoyed the experience and would recommend.

Incredibly, ridiculously delicious. One of the best meals I’ve had in my entire life.
The waitperson we had was so friendly and good natured and very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us with suggestions, all excellent.

Argh it’s really delicious though I definitely am aware that it’s a bit pricey and am always torn with the question “was it worth it for the $$?”
The service is amazing and the food is so yum. I wish I could go all the time but just can’t justify paying that kind of money for snacks.

He perfectly recommended drinks and food to suit our group. I actually feel quite aggressive about how much I loved this food and I've thought about it a lot since!!!
