Interesting food and a menu from which you can find reasons to return

Maman was a great restaurant, the meal was beautiful and easily turned into share plates.

Very good cocktail and excellent service. The waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable.
The food was nice and the menu is very interesting.

Lovely food.
However, weren’t welcomed on arrival. Weren’t asked for drinks throughout the night. Only received one drink that I had to order and ask for myself.
My partner even asked for a menu to order a drink and then we had to call the wait staff over to our table 5-7 minutes later because they didn’t come back to ask what she would like.

Waited 60mins for food but cocktails were nice in the meantime. It was also a long wait for dessert and most tables were empty by then. Other than that, staff were friendly and helpful, food was really good and it was a nice location away from the main street. Would dine there again but check menu on website first and order food when shown to a table.

Service was shocking. They forgot to put our main meals through to order.
Didn’t offer us another drink eventually had to get up and ask where the food was and if we could order another drink after waiting 30mins.
The waitress was short tempered, didn’t smile and was not welcoming in the slightest.
We were so excited to try as live on the Gold Coast and the Burleigh restaurant has just opened. We had heard great things about the restaurant and whilst on holiday in port Douglas gave it a try.
Not worth it

We had a fabulous meal at Maman on Christmas Eve. The setting is tres chic and atmosphere very inviting. The food was thoughtful sublime! Thank you for delivering a fabulous serving of the Mediterranean in Port Douglas.

Thank you so much to Karen and the team for their great service! Had a beautiful dinner with friends.. with the food being absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back if ever we get to visit Port Douglas!

Our experience at Maman fulfilled and exceeded all our dining needs and expectations. The food and atmosphere is absolutely perfect and there is something on the menu for everyone. Karen and Lizzy are truly legendary in their craft and their passion for home-cooked food and community shines through every aspect of this welcoming gem of a place called Maman. Feels like home.

Amazing food and nice location.
Beef tartare , tuna carpaccio , burrata, prosciutto and bread are delicious !
We went back 2 nights in a row .
The 2owner ladies are so much fun and very welcoming.

Absolutely shocking in all aspects of the business !! Would 100% not return. Dined at 5.30pm, only 2 tables to cover so it’s not that all avenues and approaches could not be covered. The bottle of wine we ordered (mother’s milk) was the only plus !!!!

Fabulous food, consistently good.

We had heard great things. Our poor waitress didn’t really want to be there, which dampened the experience. Food was delicious and the apple pie was the best I’ll ever have. Nice drinks list too.

Charming little restaurant do book early so you don’t miss out.
