Chef and manager were great!

The food is very good. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. The service was good but the waiter wasn't familiar on how to use a VISA gift card so we had to pay cash. It was a little loud in the restaurant but tolerable. Reservations highly recommended. It's a little pricey but I new that before I made reservations.

I expected much more considering this restaurant was at Chateau Elan. My husband ordered the steak and it was over cooked, dry and lacked flavor. I ordered the fish. It was not visually appealing, was too wet for my liking and it also la Jed flavor. The Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole were all great. Biscuit appetizer was ok, but it was not served hot. The drinks were also good. Overall, I felt the food at this restaurant was more on the level of an Outback Steakhouse. Maybe the chef was just having an off day.

Our waiter was amazing and so helpful. Can not wait to go back!!!

This dining experience was better than our experience on Dec.24th, regarding the social distancing in seating.

need to update the menu every so often. We have been there three times in the past couple months and the menu is exactly the same.

I am a very picky eater so I have to get the same thing every time.

The food was very good. And outstanding service. Major down side, they did not exercise social distancing when seating dining guest: tables were approximately 3 feet apart (except for I e table) and seating was not with one empty table between guests.

Wonderful food! Wonderful wait staff. The back room was quiet and intimate, perfect for an anniversary celebration. Would highly recommend!

Nice decor. Food was great. Nice vibe. I loved my drink. I had the 12oz steak and mushroom and it was delicious. My husband had the lamb some type risotto side item. His was good, but it was t much better than the lamb you can get at Costco. Still good though.

Stayed at the Chateau Resort for the weekend so decided to dine here. Food was delicious! Staff was very friendly and wore gloves the entire time. This is a place to save for special occasions.

I had no idea the food here would be to this level. I do a holiday dinner for a couple of my customers to thank them for their support throughout the year. We have tried Cotton Calf for the last couple of years. I was not able ti het a reservation there this year so I decided to try Marc. Wow! Food and service was OUTSTANDING!!! We will be back next year. I f I could give this restaurant 100 stars I would!

We enjoyed a very romantic evening. The menu was decent, and we will be back one day.

Service was exemplary. Enjoyed butternut bacon bruschetta, cesear salad, salmon entree, and créme brûlée. Flat iron steak was tasty but chewy. Hot ranch fries absolutely delicious. Excellent coffee.

It was ok. The dish (stuffed trout) we ordered was pretty bland. Expensive for the quality: taste and service. I’ve eaten here before and had much better. I love the location, so I’m sure I’ll be back, but I’ll try other restaurants on the property next time.

The portions of the great tasting entrees were more than expected and exquisite.
The service was extraordinary! Our waitress was quick to provide us with our questions about the menu items. She was very knowledgeable about how the chef prepared everything.

Wonderful ambience. Food was decent for the price. Staff was very nice and attentive and made every effort to accommodate any requests I had. Went on a Wednesday so no crowds and good noise level.

Not the romantic setting we were hoping for for the food price. Food had no presentation that you wouldn't get at a chain restaurant. Highly disappointed. An armed deputy stood beside our table.

The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal! However, we had to get our order to go, due the the amount of people crammed into a tight dining space. During COVID 19, the dining room did not provide enough space for us to feel safe to eat within the dining area.

My family and I went there before we ventured over to the winery. I had the salmon it was awesome I didn’t like that I couldn’t substitute the asparagus for another green vegetable but other than that the food was great and the service was awesome.

Only problem was they should had made people aware of the Thanksgiving only menu which was $$$$$$$$

No other words to use but fabulous to describe our meal last night at Marc. The food, service and ambiance impressed. Edd Karlan-head of sales and restaurants has things cooking . Chef Madeline also shines with a scallop dish and a butternut squash bruschetta appetizer-just yummy . We will be back!

Very good food. Only complaint is the lack of scallops on the scallop dish. The past pictures showed 6, we only got 3. For the price there should have been more. However the stuffed trout was worth every penny!!

Was extremely disappointed with the service at the multiple restaurants on property, they were not friendly at all. The entrees and sides leave much to be desired considering the price. The property was beautifully decorated for Christmas that was a wonderful lus.

The service is always great and the ambiance is always sexy. The food was not up to standards this time. For the very pricey menu...the food should always be as close to perfect as possible. They w look at adding more Shrimp, Crab Clams or Tofu options for Pescatarians and Vegetarians.

We had an unfortunate evening at Marc.. while everything about the rest of Chateau Elan was absolutely exceptional, we had high hopes for our special dinner @ Marc to be the same. Food was great, service was AWFUL. For a slower evening, it was absolutely unacceptable. Dirty plates sat in front of us all evening, he never asked if we needed anything else after dinner was served, didn’t offer drink service or dessert, etc etc. Could have thrown a couple hundred dollar bills in the trash can for a better evening. We left incredibly upset.

Every person that we dealt with was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and the waiter even brought us complimentary champagne. The food was excellent as well as the dessert.

If you want to be an elite steakhouse and charge the type prices that you do, the quality of food better reflect that price and standard.

Common theme on the reviews. If they are going to charge premium steak house prices then make the ambiance and food quality reflect the same. Overall it felt like captive pricing just like you would find at Disney World.

We were very disappointed in service. Not our servers fault. He was doing his best. More servers needed. We had eight in our party and asked for our bill to be split per couple. We were told that was not allowed. We had to split bill evenly four ways. Ridiculous. Wine choice should included wines from other places besides CE

We stayed at the resort this past weekend and went to Marc on Friday. We have stayed at Chateau Elan several times and have never been to Marc, so we were very excited to try it. The staff was incredibly kind and actually got us a better reservation time and let us add two additional guests the day before we were due to arrive. In general, all the staff at Chateau Elan are very pleasant and always overly accommodating. This was true for Marc as well. We ended up seating a few minutes before our 6:30 reservation. The restaurant was somewhat busy, but not completely full. Surprisingly, we ended up waiting for pretty extended periods of time throughout our dinner. The staff was constantly apologizing for the wait, but it didn’t make it any less frustrating that is took 20 minutes to get a bottle of wine. Our server comped our last drink because they felt bad about our wait. I’m not sure how long it took for our food to arrive, but everything we ordered was cold. We don’t often dine at such high end establishments, so I think we were just disappointed in what we ended up getting. For the price, the food should have been a lot better, and the service faster. I know the pandemic has complicated restaurants efficiency, but if I’m going to spend $250 on dinner with my husband, it needs to be better.

I hope that Marc makes some improvements in the future. The ambience is great and the staff is great. We are willing to give it a second try if the reviews reflect improvements.
