   Made a reservation for my sister’s birthday here and we loved it. Ambiance was on point. The service was so good and everyone super friendly. Food and dessert was all amazing. Highly recommend!

   I come here Often for happy hour. It extends into the regular dinner hour as well. What a great place to just sit, enjoy, relax, and have a little respite from the stress of Los Angeles.

   2 choices for lunch app, 2 choices for main course. Party of 2, so we tried them all. Average at best, all. If you can’t/won’t make an impression during Dining Week, why would I return when prices are inexplicably higher?

    This was our first time to Marco Polo. In fact were didn't even know it existed until we saw it pop up on DineLA. We went there for lunch and had the special DineLA menu. It was a very good deal for what we received. The location is inside a walled courtyard just off a fairly busy street. The decor is nice and the abundance of plants is impressive. The ambiance would be so much nicer if you couldn't hear the cars on the street, but we are eager to come back at night and try out the regular menu. Perhaps dining at night will feel more magical.

    We came here & reserved to dine by the pool for 2. Got there but they said that they dont have a staff to serve by the pool area so we just sat at the regular area. Its also limited menu when we got there but i doesn’t say on the site that they’ll have limited menu for the time we got there. I tried to talk to the manager but he wasn’t very helpful and very dismissive. We ended up staying since we drove all the way from Oc. The servers are very helpful and accommodating which makes up for the rude manager.

    We were disappointed, as we had heard great things about Marco Polo. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, yet we were seated at probably the least comfortable table in the space, as it was in the middle of every pathway from the bar area through the table area and had no heaters around it (it was a cold and windy evening). We asked to move to one of the more sheltered tables but the host explained that we couldn't sit there because it was a table for 4 (the entire time we were there, there were 2 other parties at the restaurant, at least 10 empty tables, 6 of which were set for 4). He sat us in a back corner, near a heater, but also next to the exit wall, which had cold wind blowing through. We were planning on enjoying a leisurely dinner but instead just had a drink and app as we didn't feel welcome in the nearly-empty restaurant at all. The calamari was really good and our server was very friendly, but the host unfortunately put a damper on our overall experience.

    the fixed valentines dinner wasn’t that exciting. paying $198 you would expect something a little more curated. it was basically 3 full dishes and only the last one had some flavor, which was unfortunate since we were already full at that time.

    I understand this is a hotel restaurant by the food was subpar. The mushroom tostone was just chopped mushrooms sitting on a piece of bread. I think a sauce was missing. The chicken parm and the bass were way overcooked. The gigantic chicken breat was burnt and absolutely smothered in sauce. Maybe they were trying to cover up that it was burnt.

    I’ve been here twice and it was great both times! The first time I sat at the bar, and the second at a table. When we were seated at a table it was a chilly night, and the staff were kind enough to accommodate us by rolling out a heater.     Where can you go in LA that you feel like you’re on a Greek island? The happy hour prices are excellent, even the limited happy hour menu is surprisingly varied and economical. I have invited many guests here and I’ve always been treated like I’m some kind of Hollywood royalty.
