    Arrived on time to an excellent welcome. Staff very accommodating about my wheelchair. Bread-focaccia was brought-very salty, delicious texture. Menu choice wasn’t as extensive as I had expected but was tempting. Friend’s starter (can’t remember what!) disappeared quickly! I had pasta with mushrooms and truffles which was too rich for me. Another friend had chicken which he didn’t enjoy. Green salads were large and we could have shared one. We shared 375cl of the house red-a fruity one! £150 for 3. Not cheap. Pleasant ambiance and good service. Pity the accessible loo is used for storage!

    If you are looking for a fine dining experience in this part of London, Margot is your spot, without hesitation. Excellent food, outstanding cooking and competent and friendly staff.

    Nice setting and ambience however service leaves much to be desired. We were offered drinks quickly but food order not taken for about 20 minutes. We would have liked desserts but again nobody came to offer a menu. Disappointing at this price...

    I took my partner or his birthday and we had an absolutely fantastic meal. The pumpkin ravioli and pistachio meringue were particularly delightful.

    Margot came highly recommended and everything exceeded our expectations. The ambiance is perfect, the service was impeccable, we followed the recommendations of starter, pasta and main course sharing each dish and "wow" they were all delicious. The wine list was extensive and well chosen. We started with thinly sliced veal and small salad, followed by pasta with mushrooms and finished with the best Osso Bucco we had ever had. We will be returning and soon.

    The environment was very nice and relaxed. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I am pregnant and they gave me an extra cushion for my back. The food was lovely. The whole experience was amazing!

    Outstanding service and delicious food. Staff well informed about the dishes on offer and able to make good recommendations. Lovely ambience. Attentive staff, but not overbearing. Very enjoyable.

    This place offers fine dining in the heart of the West End. It has earned a well-deserved recommendation from the Michelin guide. We enjoyed excellent starters and mains, washed down with a varied selection of fine wines.

    We are regulars at Margot but it felt like the usual chef had the day off. Papadelle was far to al dente, lobster was over cooked, mushroom pasta had no taste, scallops undercooked, cheesecake, chocolate pudding and panna cotta were all terrible. Will try again and hope for a more usual experience but this was the worst meal we have had in a long while.

    We much enjoyed our first visit a few years ago so we returned. What a disappointment! I had the impression the restaurant had been taken over. Poor food and service very expensive and noisy. Avoid!

    This was the most wonderful dinner I have had in a long time. The staff are all highly professional, it's a joy to watch them at work. This restaurant is a well-oiled machine and the food is spectacular. The pasta was delectable and the dessert decadent. I'll always remember this meal!
