   The food at Marisol is outstanding. It has unusual, but healthy ingredients. The chef is superb. We have always been quite pleased with our dining experience at Marisol. We have eaten almost everything on the menu. It is casual and comfortable. The noise level is minimal.

   The wait staff and kitchen were overwhelmed which made the wait for food longer than usual. Apologies and offers to order an additional item were made for the delay, then the wrong check was presented with an explanation. Our check had been presented to another party. They had paid it, so we paid theirs which was a few dollars cheaper than ours. Not an example of a smooth operation, but the staff was doing their best.

    The food was delicious, as were the cocktails and the ice cream was so good and used inventive flavors. The only difficulty was finding the open door after the museum closed. Highly recommend for a date night especially for an art lover.

    It is such a wonderful kitchen...the food that comes out is delicious and beautiful... Very good size dishes and a nice wine list. It is not as busy of a place as it should be

    As always, the food, service, and experience at Marisol are excellent. Haute cuisine comfort food with all of the warmth but none of the pretense. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. Perfect for a regular casual meal, date, or a special occasion.

    Valentines Day….at Marisol / MCA, it was just wonderful. Food was excellent as Jason / Cindy continue to deliver exceptional and fresh food. Leuan the waiter was just well aware on the food and wine selections and helped guide a few suggestions. The wine / sommelier was also helpful and well aware of the balance of food / wine as I did the pairings. We enjoyed the night and unhurried experience at Marisol. FYI…eve the playlist was really good, I noticed while the volume was never too loud.

    Awesome place! My first time there and it was a great experience. Since the beginning, the hostess was very friendly, everything was clean, shout out to the waiter, Ian, all the time pending of our needs. The food was quick and good for a brunch and the place comfy. Definitely I will go again!

    We should know better than to go anywhere Restaurant Week. We had to wait 15 minutes past our brunch reservation time. The meal came out in two parts...three meals and three meals. We're going back because everything was absolutely delicious...just not for Restaurant Week.

    We were thrilled with the high caliber of the food and the lovely choices. The price was extremely fair for the most wonderful sandwich I ever had along with the chick pea side dish and delightful pear and beet lettuce salad. Oh my gosh, and the brownie was nothing like I’ve ever tasted!! Thank you to the fine chef and staff. You made my day at the MCA and lunch at Marisol one I’ll not forget.

    The staff was super friendly, but they were clearly overworked. Our food came out at a snails pace only after we asked for each course 3 different times. Out friend got her entree 15 minutes before we other 3 got our items and before we even got the donuts which were supposed to be a precursor to the entree. They gave us 4 glasses of champagne even after I said I would not be drinking prior so not a bonus for me. And presumptuous to assume every drinks before even asking and just setting it down in front of someone. The value was just not there in this experience and I would never consider returning.

    We tried the restaurant week menu and it was a little underwhelming given the reputation and hype Marisol has. The Tea cake, focaccia and frittata were strictly okay. The croque madame however, was phenomenal. I would probably go again to try the ala carte, but with lower expectations.

    We ordered brunch from the restaurant week menu: lavender granola, lemon french toast and fritatas and beignets were all fabulous. So good to return to Mirasol - look forward to returning soon.

    We really enjoyed our Restaurant Week brunch at Marisol. The tea cake was good for a sweet start to the meal, but the savory ciabatta was even better. The frittata was perfect - rich and delicious (full of porcini flavor). The breakfast burrito was fine, it just didn't "wow" us like the frittata. Looking forward to having the ciabatta and frittata again and trying other enticing items on the brunch menu.

    Such great food: creative, tasty, interesting! The cocktails were clever and delicious. It’s just that the ambience is one of a slightly upscale cafeteria, complete with MCA janitors listening to loud sports events on their phone, a few meters away and busboys telling loud jokes to one another as they walked by. I would definitely come back again for the food but would hope to have a more pleasant dining experience as this restaurant hopefully finds its footing.

    The food was unexpectedly delicious. Portions could be a little bigger for the egg dishes. The matcha French toast was very good. The ambiance is just ok. For a museum I expected a lot more cool design features. Felt like a cafeteria and the main restaurant entrance is dark and boring and makes you think it’s closed. Felt like it was half finished and lacks imagination.
