Although it was their last night in business, the experience was fantastic. From the hosts to the food expeditor to our server, everything and everyone was top notch. I hope this translates when they reopen as Giuseppe’s! Fallin, our server was the best I have had at a SERG group restaurant to date. Thanks for going out on a high note!
The food was delicious, and the service was spectacular. It is unfortunate that the restaurant is closing.
Sorry to see Marley’s go. Always one of our favorites.
Good not great. Menu dishes could have been a little simpler. It was a bit of sauce/crab overload. Service was outstanding!!

We came for early dinner at 4. Our waitress was very helpful with the menu and recommendations as this was our first time here. It was not busy at the time but still was a fun atmosphere. Appetizers and beverages were a great start. The main event with Ahi Tuna and Mahi Tacos were excellent. Finished by sharing the best Key Lime Pie ever. We will definitely come back here.
Parts of our meals came out cold. Drink from the bar was terrible and sent it back.
I would visit any of the other locally owned restaurants before I would ever spend another penny here.
This was my third time at Marley’s. The first two times were two years ago on a bachelors beach getaway. Everything was fantastic then (best steak I had ever eaten up to the point. This time my visit was for my first nice meal alone with my wife after our wedding. The hostess was nice, it was very difficult to hear our server speak through his mask with his thick accent and we were seated in the direct path of sound from the speaker used for live music on the patio, which lead to some confusion regarding our order. (This is not a complaint but an observation.) My steak this time was not up to the expectation left by my previous experience, however my wife’s fish was done very well.
We would visit again, but did not have the overall experience we had hoped for our special occasion.
Love going to Marleys. Have been going to Marleys for years and would recommend for casual dining.
The manager was awful! Rude as can be!! WLked in no one there we had reservations and she continued to snap at me cause I asked if we can sit a table there were 5 of us the table had 6 seats and continued to come at me about the table wouldn't let it go! Did I say we were the onlyyyyy people in the entire place!!! I got to my table and cried about how rude she was. Anyway the server was fine. Food was ok def not the best or top 5 on the island
Great experience. Our server was amazing. The food was melt in your mouth delicious from the appetizer to dessert. New favorite restaurant on HHI.
Our server was efficient, thorough and friendly and the restaurant respected COVID-19 protocols. Interestingly, we were seated near the bread warmer and as two people were loading the warmer, one of the loaves fell out and landed partially near the exterior of the warmer and partially on the floor. One of the staff responded by discarding the loave and did NOT put it back in the warmer. We have all heard stories about restaurant food and I was pleased by what I witnessed.
It was awesome. This will be one of the reasons I come back to Hilton Head Island
Broiled seafood lacked seasoning. Fried clams tasted good, but portion was small.
We were on vacation for our first visit to Hilton Head. We had a fantastic meal and service!!
Stuffed lobster and fried shrimp were amazing, as was the white sangria!! Yummmmm!

A wonderful experience overall. There is a lot on the menu that provides a good seafood and Caribbean vibe. The seafood was the star of our meal but the pasta was missing a little flavor.
Drinks and desserts were wonderful as well. I definitely recommend a meal here.

The kitchen was a bit slow and our order was delivered a bit at a time with a fairly long delay between the first 2 items and food for the others in our party. My meal was cold and my wife and daughters were served in an odd order. I expect the COVID restrictions and the fact that most of the client base were seated out doors contributed to the disappointing experience. On the whole we will be unlikely to return
Under the current (Covid) situation, the restaurant and staff were great. I made online reservations and we were taken to a table as soon as we got to the establishment. The service was great and so was the food.

Paul Norris and his folks always do an outstanding job - consistently good each and every time! I had my usual marinated flank steak cooked to perfection and a Marley's salad on the side. My family had swordfish and tilefish and thought it was superb. We had dinner outside to the music of a terrific father/son duo and and look forward to coming back next week! Thanks to Paul and the SERG team!
I used to go to this place all the time as a child. We went back and nothing has changed. Great food, fun atmosphere and always good service! It gets expensive quick but worth it!!!!
Great atmosphere and food! We sat outside on the patio to enjoy the live music. We would definitely recommend if you are looking for great dining in the Sea Pines area!
Food and service were very good.
First time to Marley’s. My husband enjoyed the seafood trio. The fried batter was light and crisp as he prefers. I am not a seafood fan so I enjoyed the nachos as my dinner. We went at 5pm and they have an early dinner menu. We were given the regular dinner menu and had to ask for the early menu. I noticed that a few other early diners were also not given the early dinner menu. Ask for it!
Eaten here many times and glad to be inside dining again. Food quality not quite as good as in the past, but probably a lot of new folks. The shrimp and calamari app is one of my favorites on the island and this time a bit overcooked and soggy and due to way too much sauce, but I ate it all. Looking forward to next trip in September.

We were greeted with friendly smiles and seated promptly. Service was very good and the entrees were very good. Plentiful portions and good music in the background.
The food was very good and the server was attentive without being there every two seconds. We sat outside and the musician who was playing was really good, great atmosphere and overall a great experience.
From the apps to entrees and the service by Jeremy and Greg, everything was spot on. Our entire group loved it!
Service was a little slow. Food was priced high for quality and flavor. Both my husband and my dishes were bland tasting. Was dissapointed.
The live music the night that we are there, was outstanding. It was 1 gentleman that played the steel drums, saxophone, guitar and sang beautifully. The food was very good. My daughter didn't care for what was on the menu, and wanted a cheesesteak from the burger hut that was attached to the restaurant, and our waitress told us that she couldn't sit at our table is she order food from the burger hut, by the same name. Outside seating for both places on the patio, so I couldn't understand why she couldn't sit with us. (She did anyway, and nothing was said!) Overall a very good experience.
Marley’s is always a fun experience. We dined outdoors (restaurant provided mosquito spray-thanks!). Everyone was happy with their meals. Fun drinks. Great meal!
