Wonderful dining experience from the moment we arrived, until we wrapped up dinner. Jason was outstanding! Best service with attention to details. Henry and Jesus were kind, and on top of it. We were made to feel welcomed, to fully enjoy our time. The food was impeccably prepared, presented and enjoyed. Every bite was delicious. Thank you for making our mom and auntie feel special while we celebrated auntie’s 81st birthday.

Mastro's is a classic steakhouse so you could expect the best. There was live music to celebrate our anniversary, too which was a pleasant surprise. We had a great time.

First off I have been to all Mastros, but this one located Downtown LA is by far the worst. I never in my life out of all restaurants I been to have they automatically charge 18% gratuity for a table of 4!!!!! When I questioned the waitress she had the never to tell me LOL that allllll restaurants charge that LOL child please. I guess she thought I was either stupid or it was my first time at a restaurant. Then they take for ever to remove your dirty dishes after you had your appetizers and plus only time I did see my waitress was when either the food is coming appetizers or main course. So no I will not be coming back to that location AGAIN

My food and drinks were so delicious and fulfilling. I loved the ambiance and the friendly service. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and even suggested some tasty drink choices where were outstanding. 10/10

Our waiter made mistakes with our order on getting our steaks wrong for 3 of the 6 at the table. Obviously the other 3 had to wait to start eating their steaks as it would have been rude to start. Steaks were good, but not as good as in the past. We have been going to Mastros for years. Beverly Hills, Costa Mesa, Newport. This was our 4th time here in LA and it seem to miss the mark. Our waiter also forgot to give us our left-over food to take home till I asked him.

This is the 5th Mastro’s I have been too. Service was trash compared to all the other locations and we went early in the evening. They also applied an 18% auto grat to a party of 4 which seemed weird. Auto gratuity normally does not apply until 6 people or more. Highly recommend the other locations in LA, this one just didn’t make the cut, from the time we walked in the door to when we left.

Server was rude. When asked what she recommended she said “well everything is good” and we over heard the next table ask the same and she answered and actually gave them options on what she thought was good. Forgot her name but she had glasses.

Of all times today was my worst experience. Sadly my boyfriend didn’t get to enjoy he’s birthday dinner and so the rest of the party. All of our dishes weren’t cooked as requested we were simply embarrassed to address it to the waitress since we had already request one of the steak to get well done as we had asked .my friend asked for medium and her steak was completely raw.overall the service of our waitress was wonderful but we we were all sadly unsatisfied with our dinner 😔

Jason and Frankie were very attentive and made sure we had a wonderful experience! We had the crab cakes, porterhouse, with sautéed mushrooms, and lobster mashed potatoes. Food was absolutely delicious!

Ordered 2 of the same steaks well done, mine came out medium rare at best, they took it off my plate for 15 min and came back, it was still red inside, they decided to compensate me with a little $10 dessert to replace a $80 steak. Disappointing experience, it’s always been much better in the past, what was the chef smoking yesterday????

Andy the manager is the man. And all of the people providing service from hostess to servers were excellent. We’re locals and this has become our spot. Thank you for making it special in a town full of options.

Been to this location many times since its opening. Have always sat near the bar and live music. Live music is always on point. We have had the pleasure to have been served many times by Chelana. Have been to some of Mastro’s different locations over the the past 15 years and Chelana’s service stands out. Food was great as is expected from Mastro’s. Can’t say the same about all locations but this one lives up to the name. Can’t wait to go back!

Came for a birthday dinner, service was good but food was sooo salty and not what was expected of a Mastro’s. Highly disappointed and very casual dress code versus their upscale dress code they promote on their website. Definitely way over priced for the quality of food they’re serving.

First time here and the Filet 12oz was so amazing! I got it medium rare and it was so perfect! I also got the mashed potatoes and white cheddar Mac n cheese. Definitely recommend the lemon drop! It was better every time I got it! I got 3. Nick our server was the nicest! I’d definitely come back and ask for him again! Loved the experience

Mastros always great. Food, experience, music, etc…. Only issue I had was with the hostess. Even though I had a reservation she seemed annoyed and never made eye contact.

First time visiting California with a group of friends, I was called to make sure we was still coming and asked if anything special was being celebrated. Once I arrived, we was immediately seated and given a personalized menu for my birthday. (That was awesome) I wish we was given some information on the portion of food that would be given. We had so much extra food. Overall, it was a good experience. I would recommend to the next person.

I was humiliated at the end of dinner because the restaurant did not take a credit card without a chip. I had to walk around looking for an atm which I never found. Somehow the manager ended up taking my card and charging it anyways but that was very embarrassing and I did not like what had happened. I most likely will not be returning to this location.

I really enjoyed myself at the downtown Mastro’s. This was my first time at this location and our waiter Serrano was just amazing. My father really had a great time for Father’s Day. I also, liked that they had a live musician she was great.
