   Our go to place for Happy Hour. We also love the Pepperoni Pizza. The hostess knows us and always seats us at our favourite reserved table. Our server was delightful, very prompt and professional and always service with a smile.

   Again, our go to place for Happy Hour. I always make a reservation and the Hostess knows exactly where our table is. Our Server was very friendly and professional. We love her beautiful smile. Of course the half price wine and appetizers make it the best deal in town!

   Service is slow, food takes so long we had 2 children with us who were so hungry/miserable cause they good too 45 min from time Of ordering then desert took 2 mins from ordering. Our sever couldn’t have been less interested in our table or our needs.

    I had the fish and chips meal. The last time I ordered this the fish was a lot bigger than it was this time. The 2 portions of fish this time were the same as 1 piece the last time.

    While our server (Olivia) was attentive the kitchen was slow. 45 minutes to receive our order. Clearly need more staff, it's unfortunate as the Cajun chicken was good but it shouldn't take that long and nothing offered food wise to nibble on or compensation for slow service.

    I ordered a beer and it sat on the bar for almost 10 minutes before it was going to be delivered. When the server went to grab it she noticed it had gone flat and she let the bartender know. Unbeknownst the to the bartender, I could see from my table the bartender tried to stir it with a straw to make it look fresh and frothy instead of pouring a fresh one. I’ve never seen something so unprofessional. This was after being served lettuce wraps that had very wilted and brown edges on the lettuce. Overall a very disappointing night. I’ve had great service here many times before so I know this is atypical and I will be back since I trust this won’t happen again.

    I made a reservation and selected a standard table vs a high-top table. Upon arrival, we stood at the hostess booth for a good 5 or 10 minutes before anyone came to help us and ask about our reservation. Although I requested a standard table in my reservation, there was not standard table, and I was informed that I would have had to write LOW if I wanted a standard table because my selection did not carry onto my notes for my reservation. Two of us have mobility issues and the hostesses would not accommodate even though there were tables available for us. ALSO, once we decided to stay and sit in a half booth/high top table, the hostess did not assign a server to us. We sat for 15 minutes with no server or person coming to us, meanwhile there were at least 6 servers standing around, looking at us, but no one coming over to see if we'd been helped. It took me making eye contact with a server and asking who was serving our table to get the manager to come over. She obviously went to the manager to ask. The tables all around us had servers waiting on them, but there we sat!!! I will say the manager was amazing as was the server who finally took our orders. The hostesses need to be reminded that we are the customers, who write their pay cheque and their attitude should be kept in check. I scoffed that they probably told the servers not to wait on us, however they just didn't tell any server they had a table. I am a former restaurant manager and owner. In my experience, the sections are assigned to a server, and they know exactly which tables they are taking care of. I find it funny how this is not done in such a busy location. While we were finally treated as we should have been the moment we stepped into the restaurant, all of us commented if we were willing to return because of how we were treated. 1 of the standard tables they had "Reserved" for someone else was seated, AND they asked to be moved to a high-top table, and left a standard table open

    The dirty fries were absolutely disgusting. The serving dish was full of oil. Our server only returned once to refill drinks and didn't check on us more than that. It was our first and likely last trip to Match.

    I am writing this review to let you know how awesome my server, Josh, was. He was super busy but that didn't matter. He was so friendly and attentive the whole evening. Match Eatery in Chatham is VERY lucky to have him on their staff.

    Our go to place. We always get seated at our favourite spot. Our Server Wade was very pleasant and professional. We found out that Match has it’s own Every Day Hero. Wade went out after work and looked after stranded people at the Holiday Inn next door who could not get a room during this Christmas snow storm. He took orders for Coffee, Pizza, etc. and went out and delivered! Some came back the next day for lunch just to thank him. What a guy! Such a good news story.

    We love suggesting Match as our dinner location for date night. We were just so lucky enough to have Karen again for our server. We tell all of our family and friends about how lovely she is. As new parents we went out to Match for our first date night back in September, where Karen so graciously by passed the tip option and said “buy something nice for the baby!” How sweet is that? We love that there are gluten free options! Looking forward to our next visit again! :)

    Service was terrible. Our waitress disappeared. Staff couldn't find her. She dropped the food off and never returned. Manager looked for her and couldn't find her. Waited a long time to get bill and get out of the restaurant. Food was good but the service sure spoiled the wholw experience.

    As always our hostess Karen took us to our usual table. We were well looked after by our server. She even had the sound turned down a bit at our request even though Canada was playing soccer at the time. Our go to place.

    For together with a childhood friend that we haven’t seen each other in 5 years!! There was things to catch up on and sad things to discuss and there was absolutely no pressure from our wonderful waitress in getting our order. Our waitress was the absolute best!!!!!!!!!

    Everytime we have gone there the hostess has been incredibly rude. Doesn’t talk or acknowledge us or is ignorant. Throws our menus on the tables and walks away. Many waitresses walked right past us. Finally once being served our meal was mediocre at best.

    The advertised “ Detroit Style” pizza, although tasty, does not resemble Detroit style. The quintessential characteristic is baked in a steel sided pain, producing crispy Edges with cheese. Please look at “ Buddy’s Pizza” ! This pizza should be promoted more appropriately as “ Deep Dish” !
