Great spot and good food. Nice to have a restaurant that takes full advantage of a view of the beautiful St Clair River! I know it was "game night", but I would have preferred dining to some nice background music instead of competing with the constant blabbering of commentators on the many sports channels playing. Felt more like a sports bar than a fine restaurant. I think another night would have been better when it's not "game night".

Greeting and seating was perfect. Food and service was excellent. Well prepared and laid out for the present situation.

Nice vibe, very open, great view of the river, good value with the daily specials! Service was a bit slow but could have been time of day. I had bbq chicken wings...would order the sauce on the side next time:)

Very disappointed this time dining at your restaurant. Considering we had made a reservation the table & cushions we were seated at was not cleaned before we sat down. I don't think they should be spraying disinfectant after you've been seated and the cushions weren't clean crumbs over them. And slow service ready to place our order and the waitress is standing visiting with a group of people if she couldn't make it over at least have someone else take our drink/menu order. We dine here regularly and this time very disappointed with the service.

Probably the beat service that we have had there since it re-opened!

Our server was wonderful, the atmosphere is beautiful, the nachos were great except charging four dollars for a quarter of a cup of beef on the nachos and two dollars for a half of a ramekin of salsa is a bit much. That part was very disappointing. Will we come back, of course we will.
I really think you should drop the price for extra salsa and sour cream for a great big plate of nachos that’s going to be shared between two or three people. The little bit of salsa and sour cream that it comes with is not even enough for one person let alone three or four.

Beautiful evening. Great Food, weather couldn't be better. Waitress and Host were excellent. Sat outdoors, the staff really went all out to host us.

Used Open Table as couldn’t get anyone by phone to make a reservation. Match should also tell you that you can’t reserve for outside seating.

Excellent food compared to when this place 1st open. Fiqured we would give them 1 more chance and they did not disapoint. Service was excellent.

Seated at our table in a timely manner according to reservation. Waitress friendly and courteous, did not rush us. Friend and I split an appetizer which waitress was able to split on each of our bills. We both had the Reuben, excellent. Our friends had the nachos, they said they were very good. Both brought about half home, portion size very large. Would go again. Next time with spouse. He has never been.

We were hoping to be closer to the water as we had guests from out of town and wanted to give them the best experience. Didn't happen. I had a steak and was not that good, it was chewy. This is my second time having the steak at Match and was disappointed both times. Next time, I will try something else.

The service is not fast, but this day we waited quite a while before our drink order was taken and then a long wait for them to arrive. The server brought the wrong beer to my husband, fortunately our friend decided to take it and the correct beer was then promptly brought to the table. The food was delicious as usual although again, the wait seemed longer than normal. Don’t be in a hurry here, it is worth the wait. The view of the St Clair River is beautiful too.

So loud we left before we ordered food.
The location is lovely on the water but the loud guitar solo rock music was very unpleasant. We went home rather than have lunch.

We have eaten at Match several times in the past few weeks. Overall our experience has been very good. The food is very good to excellent & the portions are generous. This time we met friends for lunch. The salads are delicious and I recommend them. The sandwiches are huge and our friends took half home. Our server was great. We did have a bit of a wait for our drinks and then our meals, but they were very busy. Our server kept us updated as to when drinks would be coming & then when our meals would be ready. The view is lovely, on the St Clair River and we were able to sit on the outside patio. The current Covid protocols are well in place, handled professionally and courteously. Booking through OpenTable worked quite well and I appreciated being able to add the special request of either outside or window table.

We selected patio seating which was very comfortable on a breezy but sunny day. With the gas fire table on, it was very comfortable and pleasant.

The half price wine is an amazing deal. You can't go anywhere for that price. The $4 menu is also an amazing deal and delicious food for the price. I had the pasta which was special price on Wednesdays and the ribs are delicious and a great value.

Had a great Birthday lunch with friends. The staff had pre-heated the outdoor seating for us, sat us at a great table and the food was fantastic!
