Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano
Matteo's was excellent. Our waiter suggested that we enjoy the food family style, and we had a great meal sharing the dishes. We did ask that each dish be brought out separately, as different courses, and she expertly spaced them. We had 4 courses, plus dessert, starting with the absolutely fantastic prosciutto di parma. We noticed that just about all the tables around us also had this appetizer, and it is the definite don't miss item at Matteo's. Our next three items: pasta di mare, tortellini, and gnocchi were all excellent, each with its own exquisite sauce. The service kept up nicely clearing the plates and silverware between each course to ensure we could enjoy each item and their individual sauces properly. The dessert was fantastic as well. Overall, an excellent dinner.
2 birthdays were celebrated. We had marvelous meals. The pesto ribbon pasta was excellent. The seafood ravioli were wonderful!
Not the best. They made us wait for the 8th member of our party when only 7 had arrived. Honestly seemed excessive since the table obviously would be otherwise full. Service was also rather flawed,.took a long time to get drinks. However, when the food came it was pretty good. The appetizer platter had some great meats and cheeses and the drinks were well made and presented.
Wonderful dining experience. Nice, quiet atmosphere. Very relaxed. Waiter was very knowledgeable and made excellent menu suggestions. The staff was very attentive, plates were cleared quickly, water glasses kept full. We also enjoyed watching the pastas being made.
Very noisy. Small portions for price.
The fresh food and incredible service from Jason made for an enjoyable and delicious evening!
Excellent server. Knowledgeable. Food was very good. Really great presentation. Nice size portions. Tables were a bit too close together so wouldn’t go there on a date night or if wanting intimacy.
This was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had.. has the pasta that has 4.5oz or shaved truffle on it (AMAZING), as well as the steak tartare and Charcuterie board which were fantastic! Go here... you will not be disappointed
Decor was lacking and the food was mediocre. Service was good and that was the highlight unfortunately...
Service was good, food was fine but overpriced for what it was so we would not go back
Amazing food. It felt like every dish or appetizer or dessert was crafted for our table of four. Delightful experience.
Great place. Exceed expectations. We would go back again.
The food here is incredible. The pasta is so delicate, it melts in your mouth. Our waiter was charming. Definitely add this to your to-do list.
Portions were very small
IF you are on the strip this is a nice place to go, I did find it more casual in ambience and the food choices were interestings. The food was fresh and service was good but as a local I am picky about my value for what I am paying. Drinks were outrageously expensive so next time we will drink before we sit down.
Great restaurant. The mussels were delicious as well as the freshly made pasta. Our meals were excellent and the service was outstanding.
Great service, I mean exceptional. Lovely food, simple location. Nice for not too pricey easy Italian fare.
Small portions. Italian restaurant with no bread. Food was warm.
The food was fabulous however, the portions are small and unusual.
Food was amazing
The fresh pasta (gnocchi, braised beef ravioli & tortellini) were all delicious!! Our server Jason took the best care of us!! Do not leave without trying the cannolis ❤️
Nice restaurant in the Venetian/Palazzo with simple Italian menu and great homemade pasta - see it made in the open kitchen area. Easier to get reservations and less pretentious than other restaurants in the hotel. Great prosciutto/burrata appetizer and any of the homemade pasta dishes with any of the Italian wines makes a great meal for less than what's around.
Great atention but regular food.
Food was outstanding. Great presentation, taste and portion size. Will come back next visit to Las Vegas.
The food was really less than marginal even ignoring the price. Fish listed with squash which was a smear on the plate. I had the ravioli in butter and they were hard and dry. Honestly very surprised that this is an Italian restaurant in the Venetian.
The salad with goat cheese was excellent to be fair. Would never return to eat here..
Bread and salads are not on the menu and waiter did not tell us anything about those options. We were brought our food which was very small portions and obviously no bread, crackers or salad. I didn’t receive my glass of wine until I was finished with my dinner so that was disappointing. So basically we paid $65 before tip to leave hungry.
Food was great except the steak
The roast pork belly was fantastic. Could have used a little citrus to cut the super richness of it though. The "Peking" duck was not crispy, but was still very good. The service was very slow and they weren't that busy for 6pm on a friday. The menu could explain the dishes a bit better. For dessert I ordered the lemon custard with kiwi and fig. Instead I got cream brulee with mixed fruit on top. Plus it had blueberries on it. I'm extremely allergic to blueberries. No where did it say it was cream brulee with blueberries. So, yes it could have been better.
Great somm, service and thoughtful wine list. Share an assortment of pasta dishes along with your main. A real treat.
Somehow finding a great pasta restaurant is not always easy but Matteo has good food and wine selectiom
It was wonderful!
The food was okay but the pasta was a really small portion, much more a starter than a main course but we were not told about this when we ordered. When we queried this the waiter did not answer our question about starter/main course and only suggested we could order another dish. All in all, it was disappointing and we will not go back.
Supposedly changed the name to make it more Italian. Unfortunately they also cut the menu down to 25% of the original options and selections on the current menu were just ok. Having gone here twice before, we raved about this place to our other guest and we were all so disappointed. Please change it back to the original Factory Kitchen that it was when it first opened!
Food was amazing. The pepero is incredible as is the prosciutto di Parma
The service was ‘off the charts’....the entire staff was very professional, interactive, knowledgeable and attentive.
Alexis coordinated the entire experience...she knows the menu ‘inside and out’!!!
The food and wine choices recommended by Alexis were excellent....
We will definitely dine at Matteo’s during our next visit to Las Vegas!!!
Food was very bland
Had the short rib pasta and pesto
Not impressed and pricey for small meal.
Poor service for a group, food was average of an Italian place trying too hard.
I have been many times to the LA original and like it a lot. The Las Vegas outpost is almost on par in terms of food quality, but it has only recently launched so it may achieve parity in the future. The decor/ambience is rather boring, but it's a small flaw overall.
This location is no where close to being the same quality and character as the original location in downtown la. The appetizers (squash blossoms and the procsicutto pizza was pre cooked and not right out of the fryer. my wife dish was so salty and my favorite maxilla pesto pasta was cold we sent both back. The second round of main dishes was better.
Sad it feels like a bit of a sell out compared to the la restaurant.
