    It was the perfect spot for what we needed! We were looking for a perfect place to host a group of people who didn’t all know each other, so it was important to be able to hear each other. Not to mention, the quick service and delicious food! It was most people’s first time at Mazal and by the sound of it, it won’t be their last!

    My family had a really positive experience at Mazal. Food was fresh and flavorful. I was worried because they are all meat eaters but everything was delicious and everyone was super happy!

    Mazal is INCREDIBLE. such an amazing intimate experience, everyone is treated like family. The food was to DIE for & we will 100% be making this a weekly staple. This is an LA must.

    I always enjoy myself immensely at Mazal. The food is always a delight and the vibe is just right. The mushrooms are a must, and the babaganoush is heavenly. Love this place. Thank you!

    Delicious! Our server thought maybe I’d want to skip the side of labneh I was ordering because my companion’s cauliflower comes with labneh & I’m glad I insisted because it’s so good.

    The food is flavorful and prepared well. It’s expensive for what it is, but I’m pretty sure due to quality ingredients. My gripe was that the stew was all beans and no potatoes. Not sure if she misunderstood us and thought we wanted it that way, or if they just ran out and didn’t mention it. Anyway, it was all bean. Too much. The oyster mushrooms were good though.

    Wonderful food: delicious hummus, baba ganoush, tahini! And the pita so soft and pillowy and delicious! We were so sorry we were too full to try more dishes since everything was delicious! Need to return soon to investigate more of the menu! Staff so welcoming and great service! Wine list interesting and fun! Go now and enjoy!

    Mazal always delivers! this is my go-to place to take friends from out of town because their food and service and ambiance are always so wonderful! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

    The dips were good, but the main dishes tasted as though the olive oil got to a smokey state (which is not good for olive oil) making the dishes have a plastic taste. Overall a good place to grab drinks maybe and have some SUPER TASTY PITA but other than that not much to offer. For the ambiance and service, the food should not be in this price range.

    Planned a birthday dinner for my girlfriend and a few of her closest friends. Mazal’s patio vibe, family style dining and fantastic service were the perfect ingredients for a fun and memorable night for the occasion. When we ordered the orange marmalade cake for dessert—which was absolutely delicious—our server even went out of her way to put birthday candles on it and knew whose birthday it was because she overheard us talking, which was such an appreciated touch.

    Always a pleasure coming here where we are greeted by first name by the owners, a mother and son. A family business of the best kind, the food here is obviously derived from recipes from many years of food experimentation and refinement. I will continue to frequent this delightful establishment every chance I get.
