On a chilly early autumn day some Italian food seemed in order. The wine list had some decent by the glass offerings although I noticed right away that the prices were 50% higher at the restaurant than on their website menu. I had a Montepulciano Abruzzo. Unfortunately there was no soup on the menu. I had an excellent mixed Fritta Misto and my date had a Mista mixed green salad with shrimp. On the minus side, no garlic bread but pita strips? My entree was veal Marsala. I must say the veal was the toughest piece of meat I've encountered in a while. It was not a scallopini. It had not been pounded and the mushrooms rather than cremini were tiny oyster mushrooms like you usually find in Asian food. The Marsala sauce was thin. We split a Pistachio Gelato which was tasty. If I go back I will get a tomato sauce based dish.
