Mazzola's opened in 1970 and has long been a Steamboat tradition. We offer a from-scratch kitchen, only the highest quality all-natural ingredients, an extensive wine list & full bar. Famous for our award-winning pizza, hearty pasta dishes and cozy atmosphere. You won't want to miss this piece of Steamboat's history! Located downtown under the red awning. We are open daily at 4.00pm for dinner and offers something for the whole family. Reservations are highly recommended as we tend to fill up fast.
Mazzola's is locally owned & operated by Rex's Family of Restaurants.

              The food here is delicious. The focaccia is a must to try. We had ordered several items for the table and everything was wonderful. The pasta, the pizza, and the pork Milanese. I was very impressed.

              Chicken Piccata was amazing. However restaurant is extremely loud & service was slow. Seems like they needed more servers. That being said our server was great when she was available.

              We had reservations right when it opened at 5:00! Waited for nearly an hour and a half till we received our pizzas! Not sure what happened there- but they did give us all of our pizzas for 50% so we were grateful for that!

              Kids menu was outstanding, the fruit cup was a big hit with the artful design. The hot honey focaccia with ricotta and pine nuts was amazing. Palisade peach drinks were outstanding. Everyone was comfortable and had a good time.

              Wait staff left us unattended for at least 20 minutes before we asked for service. Then we were told someone would be with us. After another 10 minutes of waiting, we just left. No one even bothered to notice. Terrible experience.

              It was our first time to the restaurant and we didn't know really what to expect. We went because of Wednesday half off pizzas and $10 cocktails all day on Wednesdays. Calvin suggested some new cocktails for us which were delicious! We ordered the King Carne Pizza. It was definitely the best meat pizza we have ever had, and we have eaten a lot of meat pizzas from a lot of places. The restaurant is downstairs so be prepared for that. No windows or views of Steamboat. Fun ambience! Fun vibe! Great service! Great food!
