   Was disappointed. We had a reservation for dinner prior to a play at the Aronoff. We told the waitress we had less than 90 minutes for dinner but service was painfully slow (we go out to dinner before every play and this was the first time that timing was an issue). It took twenty minutes to get cocktails we ordered upon arrival. The food overall was bland. We had to flag down a different waiter to pay our check so could leave on time.

   Good food, servers were very nice but mistakes were made. One salad brought out way before everybody else, were offered crackers but never got them, friend ordered sauce on the side but came with fish, she asked for no blue cheese in salad but got a few in bottom of salad, then they gave her mashed potatoes meant for another table. To compensate, brought her an ice cream. Really nice guys and food was good but too many mistakes.

   Seated promptly. We waited a long time for our drinks after being seated. Appetizer (raw oysters) arrived shortly after. Another long wait. Then one salad (we ordered two) and entrees arrived together. At that time we ordered a second round of drinks. The staff seemed annoyed that we still wanted our other salad! Salads were like something prepackaged from Kroger, with what tasted like bottled dressing. Seafood was rubbery. Second round of drinks arrived as we were finishing our entrees. Food was so-so with a poor presentation. Think Red Lobster, not fine dining at $60 per entree. We will not be back.

    When you walk in, McCormick and Schmick's seems so promising with it's great ambience but it fell short of our expectations. Service was slow and out salads arrived after our meal. Food quality was also subpar for the price.

    I always enjoy coming to M&S. Such a consistent quality. The food with gentle yet delicious natural flavors. The appetizer an explosion of flavor. The drink, a Raspberry Mule, was excellent. The service friendly and timely. We will keep coming back!

    must have been an off night. Waiter was extremely personable, but service was slow and spotty. Since the place wasn't busy, I expected way better service. Food was OK--appetizers were good, but main course was not. Steak was poor quality and not prepared well. Looked as if it had been sitting on platter for long time before it was served. I'll return for happy hour, but not likely for dinner.

    Horrible experience. Restaurant was not crowded at all, in fact we were the only people in our section. 30 min after ordering our food the waitress said our food was up next . 15 min later she said it was coming out momentarily. Another 10 min we asked to speak to the manager. He took 10 min to come over. We explained our frustration and said we were leaving. He offered no apology, no explanation, just said “ok.” We will not go back.

    Disappointed. I hadn't been in years, and will not go back. Service was good, but the food is really lacking, and very much over-priced for the quality. Pretty sure I could've cooked a better meal at home.

    This place is just “meh”, it’s always been “meh”. Service was absolutely terrible, food was just ok and the menu offerings have been cut way back from even their previously small variety. Only reason we ended up here was because everywhere else was booked until 8:30 and so I made the reservation, hesitantly, and should’ve listened to my gut and waited for a better experience just about anywhere else.

    Food was great, unfortunately had to flag down our server every time we needed something. We even asked where he was because we had not even seen him in a really long time. Said he was staring at the chef. We needed drinks so not sure why he was staring at the chef. Very expensive experience for not good service.

    Jawan is a really good server. He was friendly and extremely pleasant. He was very thorough and very professional but not stuffy. My only comment about the food is the shrimp pomodoro didn’t have a spicy marinara sauce and the shrimp still had tails on. The sauce resembled a vodka sauce and cutting the tails off in the sauce was just weird. The dish tasted good just not what I expected.

    Overall a nice experience, the cost did not match the food nor service…paying alot more for similar food taste, quality and service from other local restaurants…the overall experience didn’t make this restaurant stand out at all…was glad I was able to use a gift card to compensate the difference in cost…would not of been happy paying full price for what we received…

    Expensive and skimpy portions. Food was generally good tasting. Green beans not well cooked. Charged extra for substituting a vegetable side, then portion was too small. Waiter not knowledgeable about menu items, unable to answer questions.

    Disappointing meal and service. Seemed like the kitchen was understaffed. Seated in back of restaurant near the kitchen. Lots of in and out of servers looking for food. Salmon entree was over cooked, chicken entree was dry, clam chowder was good and tuna appetizer was good but took an inordinate time for a seared item.

    We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. I grew up on the east coast and love seafood and fresh fish. We are Landry's members so the birthday bonus was nice. However, we were disappointed with the very limited menu compared to the previous times we have been there. There was literally one choice of entree that had non breaded shrimp, non fried and that was a piece of flounder that was breaded, itself. I love shrimp so I chose that option but try to avoid breading due to avoiding gluten. Everything we ordered was very good. I had the lobster bisque and the shrimp scampi topped Parmesan crusted flounder. My husband had the maple bourbon salmon. We also had creme brulee for dessert. The service was excellent just be sure you really like salmon because the menu is salmon heavy and much of the options are fried and breaded.
