Amazing restaurant with a very dedicated staff! Loved it
Isaiah was great.
Our food was wonderful!
We have not been to Philly nor McCormick’s in years. It was fantastic.
Post holiday family gathering.
My family of four (kids ages 8 and 5) ate here Thanksgiving night, and it was absolutely perfect! Our server was so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious!
We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere convivial. The turkey-day food was ok & very reasonably priced, but obviously not quite up to the standards of their specialty, seafood.
Took Friend from out of town to enjoy a night in the city.
Food was ok. Lobster tails disappointing.
Came here for a business meal. Ordered the sea bass as an entree and was not impressed. The spinach was very salty that I could hardly eat and the salmon was over cooked. For dessert I ordered the pineapple cake. It had been frozen as it still had some frost in the center. The value for this meal was overpriced. Definitely not coming back.
Food was great but service was poor. First, the hostess was made us wait in the small, cold lobby by the door until our driver had parked even though the dining room was virtually empty (and remained so). When the fifth person in our party was delayed upstairs in the office building, they initially refused to seat us. I complained and we were finally seated. Then, we were seated right next to a large party—crammed up next to them with our chairs touching—again, despite an otherwise empty dining room and a pandemic. A third table was then seated abutting us on the other side. It was completely unnecessary. Drinks took a very long time although our server was very nice. I would not return. It was a disappointing choice for our 30th anniversary dinner.
The server Nama was absolutely amazing 😍 but the greeter Angela was terrible she was extremely obstinate her attitude was unacceptable. She yelled at my daughter as she was coming into the restaurant and putting on her mask telling her she should have had it on before she opened the door. Then when I came in she yelled at me to remove my hat but other people who were coming in with hats on were not approached. Everything else was wonderful loved the manager and loved our server and the food was fantastic but the treatment at the door was terrible
Quick seating. Quick order. Great service. Good choice of wine. Lovely menu. Sea food prepared perfectly. Apple with cinnamon ice cream was a great choice. Will return.
Everything was amazing! And our server, Niemai, was outstanding! She has to be the best server we’ve experienced anywhere.
McCormick & Schmick's was good for a pre theatre lunch on Saturday afternoon. Their lunch options were great and the pomegranate mignonette was fabulous with the oysters. The seared tuna and lobster bisque were delicious.
Our server, Bishop, was great! The food was good but nothing special. Food prices are ridiculous for what I can make for a normal dinner. Restaurant is quite dark. My husband had to use his phone light to read the menu. Lol.
If we’re in Philly again, we’ll try somewhere else.
Alcohol drinks are decently priced.
My kid and husband said the calamari was good.
Good food and a great atmosphere for dining. The service was excellent!
They did not have any of the first three choices of wine in stock, rum, or a certain standard mixes for cocktails, and our oysters were full of shells. The server, though a very nice young lady, was extremely inexperienced and generally unprofessional. We were there on a business engagement, our glasses sat empty quite a bit, lots of gaps in service, and the total on the bill was announced to the table before asking who it should go to... All in all, it was very unfortunate.
Excellent service, food and facility. and courteous staff.
The food was very good but the staff not so much. Our waiter was very nice. The manager and the greeter were very rude.
Great night. Enjoyed my daughter's birthday
My husband and I dined here to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed everything about our visit. The service, the attentiveness of the staff, the staff working together to clear the table and of course the food and drinks. We always have a great time here and we will definitely be back again.
Even grading on a pandemic supply chain and labor shortage scale this was disappointing. Everything was ok, but nothing more than ok and you're paying high end prices. Far below my prior experience with the place.
This was disappointing. The main hostess was very harsh and rude. She lacked customer service. One hostess- a student at Temple who grew up in DC, was awesome!! The waitress was nice enough but service got very slow. It took quite some time for just coffee to arrive. The food was just average. Lobster bisque was super salty. The cobia (fish) was cooked perfectly but had NO taste. It definitely lacked seasoning. The green beans were very bland as well. We were celebrating my mom’s 91st bday after seeing Hamilton. Mom wanted vanilla ice cream. They knew it was her bday so they added a chocolate crust and some type of topping. Well she did not like it at all. They should have stuck to her requested order. There were several customers at the front who were complaining and also disappointed. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was not there. Hmmmm.
All of my food, including the margarita, was very salty. I got the shrimp and crab salmon. The lobster bisque was also salty. The service was very slow for a 6 PM reservation. We didn’t finish our food because we didn’t get it a until almost 7:30 and had a show to get to by 8. A more attentive wait staff would have made the experience better. My daughter’s details she requested were not honored due to the waiter not paying attention.
Went on Veterans' Day. Very quiet place. Appetizers were good. We had the Mussels, Shrimp Cocktail, Shrimp Kisses, Truffle Fries, and the Blue Oysters. Our server, Sarah was amazing and very attentive. Our entrees were great except for mine: I ordered the Seafood Cioppino with Sautéed Spinach instead of Fettuccine and it was BLAND! had to add plenty of salt/pepper to eat it, calamari was small and rubbery and not a lot of seafood in it. My husband had the Signature Cobia which I highly recommend, it was delicious and my daughter had the Kobe Burger which she loved, the roasted pepper in it added so much flavor to the meat. We dine out 4 times a week and this is one place we might not comeback but recommend if you like a quieter scene.
Waitstaff was very good. Creme Brulee was not served warm.
Service was not great. Salads brought out with main meal. Only asked about drinks 1x. Told stuffed salmon was decadent. Salmon did not taste fresh and was only warm when served. Steak was good.
Food was not great... Waitress forgot to bring requested items and was not very attentive, although very nice and helpful when she was at the table!
It’s location made it a great choice for after attending a performance at the Kimmel Center. From the ambience to the quality of the food and the great service from the staff, it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely come back again the next time we have a performance to attend downtown.
We were a party of five seated in one of the little special areas on the second floor which we all liked because of the privacy. Recommended appetizer: mixed green salad with walnuts; entre: salmon with shrimp and crab meat; dessert: cheesecake; drinks: Sangria. All dishes were served were hot and tasty and the service size was just right. Service was great and prices within reason. I've yet to here and not enjoy anything I've ordered.
I found the hostess to be very unfriendly and not interested in customer service. It isa shame because the waitress was wonderful. However, due to the hostess and how she greeted my party as well as other parties I am left with a very poor opinion of the restaurant.
Took my aunt out for her 62nd Birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and our server William was on it!! Great service and great experience. We will definitely return!!
We were there for a Veterans day meal. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. I will definitely be back. Thank you for supporting Veterans!
Very disappointed. My steak was ordered medium rare and it came out well done. No manager came to visit us about the issue. The server said the manager would give me a free dessert. Not sure that makes up for $40 steak that I didn’t even eat. They never offered to redo it.
If you frequent fine dining please note this is not a place where you will have a fine dining experience! What a disappointment!
So called manager Jenny was incredibly rude! I called to advise we were running late. She told me she is very busy and they have a 15 grace period. So rude!!! When we got to the restaurant we waited about 25 minutes for our table. Just the 2 of us and they wanted to seat us at a round table for 8. Really? I asked the hostess if we could sit at the smaller table we noticed was being cleared off. When she asked Jenny she said No. We had been standing 20 feet away from Jenny, I let the hostess know I would like to talk to the manager…. She walked over to Jenny and Jenny said she is busy she would not talk to us. I walked over to Jenny to ask for a better table option, she talked over me the entire time. What an incredibly unprofessional trashy individual! She ended up “allowing” us to sit at the smaller table.
But really who needs that type of disrespect and aggravation when all we were trying to do is celebrate a special occasion. Food was great, service surprisingly poor! I will never return!
Excellent food and service
Too many people. The waiter was overwhelmed and rude. Bar service extremely slow. Meal was missing side. Tables too close to each other was backing into people at the table beside ours.
According to our waitress, they were extremely busy last night due a number of last minute online bookings. Although there wasn't much a a wait for the food, the service in between was poor, namely plates weren't cleared before the next house arrived. My husband's steak was undercooked but that was quickly rectified. All in all it was a nice experience and they did the best they could have under the circumstances.
People were packed in like sardines. It was also too hot in there. Steak mess not great either. May be the last time we go here.
