   We’ll… being my myself dining for dinner sucked because I would have loved to enjoy this dinner with someone. I started with jumbo shrimp only because they are out of crab claws. They were huge and the sauces that came with it was the best. I had a steak and lobster tail with the Brussels sprouts. Tail was ok… steak was overly charred because I like medium well but some chefs arnt good at cooking that. It came out medium in the middle and we’ll done on the outside. Brussels sprouts were amazing and chocolate cake was ok… too much frosting. Good experience but spent too much for what I got in return

   All delicious! The seafood tower, steaks, sides and drinks. Morgan was amazing! We’ll definitely ask for her next time! Service was impeccable at the bar for drinks before dinner and through the meal.

   Food was excellent. Our waiter Nick was on point and very knowledgeable about the menu. We will return again in the near future! Only complaint was it is kind of noisy.

    If you want to come here for a special occasion, don’t. Made a reservation for our first wedding anniversary in the main dining area and got seated on the patio. Was told we’d have to wait 30 minutes for the reservation we actually made and that it was just “preference” and you actually couldn’t make a reservation for where you wanted to sit. They opened the windows on the windiest night so it wasn’t even pleasant to be outside (others on the patio complained about this and nothing was done). Nothing special was done for the anniversary. It felt like a casual dinner on a random night at an overrated place that is not worth the money.

    Not too crazy about sitting in the bar, we typically don’t mind but it was very crowded and nearly impossible to hold a conversation with someone sitting right next to you. Other than that, the food was amazing and good service.

    Meat Market in Tampa is described as a trendy steakhouse with a chic and modern atmosphere. However, my recent experience at the restaurant was disappointing to say the least. Despite having made a reservation for an outside table, we were seated inside, right next to the entrance. The tables were so close together, I was practically rubbing elbows with the gentleman at the next table. The noise level in the restaurant was so loud that it was impossible to hold a conversation, and the atmosphere was far from intimate. Large groups of young men were in ripped jeans and tennis shoes. I thought there was a dress code? As a result, we left after our first round of drinks and an underwhelming appetizer. The quality of the cocktails and the upbeat service in the beginning were the only things saving this place. (Our Server Nick had a great personality) However, the noise level, seating arrangement, and lack of atmosphere left us feeling unimpressed. Fortunately, we ended up at Ponte in Midtown and had an exceptional experience. Despite the restaurant being packed, they were able to accommodate us on their patio, and everything from the service to the cuisine was outstanding. Our server, Joe, was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. He paid close attention to detail and ensured that every aspect of our meal was perfect. We were even taken in the back to meet Chef Matt, who was gracious and welcoming. Overall, if you're looking for a great place to go for a special occasion, I would recommend choosing Ponte over Meat Market. The exceptional service, attention to detail, and outstanding cuisine make it a must-visit spot in Midtown.

    We had a party of 7 that they put in the private dining room. We were thankful because it allowed us to have quiet conversations with the loud dining room atmosphere. The food was phenomenal and our servers Ben and Alex were great. We loved our evening.

    Got a table in the main dining room in which I have gone there before, but the area we were sitting was so loud, but the restaurant was happy to reseat us in the lounge area, which was much quieter. We had wonderful service, and the food was delicious ....will return again.

    Celebrating my birthday and had an exceptional experience thanks to Marco and Zack and their attentive, but not intrusive service. The food was outstanding and the recommendations made by Marco were greatly appreciated. Our only suggestion to management would be installation of sound mitigation materials. The ambient noise level is very high and makes it difficult to converse with staff.

    We had Morgan and Michael, and their service was excellent. The cocktails, starters, and main coarse were all exceptional. We ordered the sliders, artichoke, meatloaf, and Sea Bass. We will definitely be back!

    Food was great and service was very good. Steaks were all fantastic and the sides could have been meals all by themselves. We have wanted to come here for a while and we were glad we finally did. However the dress code communication was very confusing. We were told no shorts on OpenTable and when we called, but then we saw people being seated at the restaurant wearing shorts. Our server was great, except a few of the items we we tried to order were sold out. It would have been nice to have been told about items that are sold out at the beginning. Lastly the bathrooms were clean and nice, but the stalls were way too small. We are not large or overweight people, but two of the women in our party found the stall door was so close to the toilet that it made it difficult to enter or exit. Overall we will return again, but these are things that could be looked at to make a better experience.

    Do not believe the hype! Food preparation terrible. Service completely unorganized. Lack of culinary experience to prepare a steak to a correct specified temperature. Please note, timing is everything. Take it from a foodie…steer clear!!

    I had a reservation but it took over a hour to be sat. They said they were waiting for tables to free up but I kept pointing out the empty tables that were large enough to fit our party. The food was mediocre. My steak was undercooked, the lobster mashed potatoes were very plain tasting. My alcohol was good but wouldn’t go back, not even for drinks.
