    Love the layout, seating variations, lighting. Great outdoor seating with wooden overhang. Service was above par..ditto for specialty Cocktails. Very mediterranean. Fish of day abit pricey. Love chandelairs. Will be dining here again for sure.

    Overall, we were pleased. The fish that I had, however, was over cooked and fried. Our friends had vegetable pita sandwiches and they were very happy with them. My wife had that Greek lemon soup and she said it was pretty bland. As we were only four people in the restaurant was slow I was surprised it took so long to get our order. it would’ve been nice if the waiter came back to check on us from time to time. We decided we could come back Sunday, but I would definitely not get the fish.

    Very pretty restaurant, I would have to say it’s gourmet Greek food some items were more Italian. I was a little disappointed the food wasn’t more authentic Greek like you would get at Greek Island. Wine list lacked good Greek wine and was overpriced.

    One of our favorite places, particularly the lovely patio area. Ambience, menu selections, prompt service. The tapas portions are plenty to share, and our party of four had fun sampling many delicious creations. We left satisfied! Our server was on point and quick, but we had to look for her to get our bill, so one star off for that. Definitely a gem near Woodfield! ❤️

    MEZE is a phenomenal restaurant. The food is Greek/Mediterranean taken to a level of 5 out of 5 stars. They have hands down the Best overall wine list at affordable prices. The place/atmosphere makes you feel like your on vacation in the Mediterranean. The staff is very professional and Jennifer the General Manager often comes around to make sure your dining experience is the best.

    This is an amazing place. I just wish that the staff was more upbeat. The energy was a bit drab. From the host to the water service and the server. Please try to build the morale. It could be an amazing experience. The food, ambiance and especially the butter cake dessert was outstanding!

    Mediocre, overpriced food and lackadaisical service on a quiet week night. This place has really gone downhill since our last visit. Our bill was $110 per person(!) and it wasn't worth a fraction of that. As an example, our saganaki looked and tasted like it had been warmed over several times and nothing like the freshly pan fried version you get in the City. Will not be going back.

    The restaurant is gorgeous and the live music was very good and romantic ambiance. Food was worth the money. Service was flat. No personality from server and she seemed rushed and gave us the check without taking another drink order.

    Food was great, although appetizer was not hot when it came to the table. We were seated next to the outdoor patio doors on the inside and the doors were constantly being opened and slammed shut when staff went in/out. Perhaps consider keeping them propped open when it is very busy. It was very impactful to the people seated near the doors. Service was good, attentive. Drinks from the bar were good. A little pricey for the food, and it would be great to see gyros on the menu.

    Mezé Mediterráneo food is so delicious. From the bread , soups and main dishes plus the wines. Our family had a great experience from the customer services to the beautiful atmosphere inside and out. We will definitely come back to see the live music performance.

    Food was average at best. Was delivered to the table incorrectly and then the waitress literally picked one kabob off my dads plate and put it on another persons plate to fix it. The restaurant was so loud we couldn’t even talk to each other. I would not go back.

    The appetizers were not good at all. We ordered zucchini and wild mushroom flatbread and both were awful. The zucchini was drenched in grease and falling apart and inedible in my opinion. The wild mushroom flatbread was also not great; the crust tasted stale and hard (and not crunchy hard but more like dense and just stale) and had a strange smell/taste as if it was old or something. The ice cubes had a strong awful smell/taste that you could taste it in your drinks. Between the 3 of us, we also ordered 2 different types of (whole) fish which were pretty good but definitely nothing exceptional. Later in the evening there was live music which was sort of nice BUT for the size of the space it was sooooo loud that I could not have a conversation with my 2 friends and we were practically screaming next to each other. It’s a restaurant and not a club. 😥 Would not go back. Place is pretty though and sadly now-a-days people go because of the way a place looks so they can take pretty Instagram photos. I’m usually not a person to post reviews but I definitely felt like I had to for this one. It was super disappointing.

    This restaurant is so beautiful! Love the large garden patio. The food was delicious, but it took 2.5 hours to complete our lunch meal. I will definitely come again because everything else was wonderful, maybe it was an off day in staffing. Highly recommend!

    Absolutely loved it! My family and I went for my birthday and it was exactly the atmosphere I was hoping for, sitting on the patio you feel like you’ve been transported to Europe! We had a couple of issues with our meals (overcooked steak, undercooked salmon) and the owner and chef both came to our table to make sure we were taken of and our meals were corrected. It can be easy to make a mistake with a meal, but what was so impressive was the response and how much they cared about making sure we were taken care of. The octopus and cocktails are to die for! I will definitely be back!

    We are regulars and enjoy this restaurant. This visit was a less enjoyable experience than usual. The beef souvlaki was dry. There were errors on the order that were corrected, but the correction was brought out when we were nearly done dining. The wait staff worked hard to make us happy after the kitchen errors. We will be back because we have had so many great dining experiences here. Also, just a picky note, but I do not like the new version of the octopus meze. The original dish was superior.

    Delicious food. We went on a rainy Saturday night, so I am not sure if that was the reason, but there were not that many people. It was on the quiet side. Food was delicious! Drinks were good. Staff was beyond friendly. One of my favorite spots to go to.

    The starters (grilled octopus, hummus spread and pita) were generous and tasty. We ordered 4 different entrees and only 2 (Tuscan chicken and the Branzino) were up to expectations. The kabob trio was a big disappointment as the chicken was dry and the lamb and beef had so much gristle they were not edible. Service was so-so with a couple of really odd occurrences: the tile floor was wet and slippery. A server shook salt on the floor near the tables for “traction”? Only made it more slippery! And between starters and entrees a young boy appeared at our table with a box of candy for sale! I’m not accustomed to being subjected to a sales pitch while dining! The valet service is extraordinary and very appreciated, especially in the rain!
