Always a good time at Milbrandt! Love the wine, the people, and the atmosphere!!
We didn't eat here, just came for wine-tasting and to take advantage of their Black Friday sale.
Brian welcomed us, seated us, and brought us our first tasting. We made sure to mention we were here for the sale and asked if we could choose the wines we wanted to taste. He said he'd really try his best to make that happen and was very nice. Cathy was our server the rest of the time and she was fantastic--super fun & friendly. We also told her our tasting objective re the sale and she gave us some extra pours.
We bought 3 cases of wine between the 3 of us. I wrote down for Cathy what was to go in each case, per what each of us ordered, and she said she'd be happy to pack them for us that way. It wasn't super busy but, for some reason, it took a very long time to get our wine. When we got home we realized that 2 of the bottles weren't what we ordered and were more expensive than the ones we wanted. We decided to let it go because it wouldn't have been worth it to drive all the way out there to exchange them. We'd gotten 50% off our wine, so it wasn't as painful a mistake!
We had to sit outside and there was a small gas tabletop "heater" that wasn't much more than a glorified candle. It was cold and grey that day and we thought there would be space heaters per the email advertising the sale. The chairs were metal and we were frozen by the time we were done even though we'd dressed warmly.
Great experience, cute outdoor area and great wines! Only downfall was the service was a little slow, and once the sun goes down there isn’t any heaters and it got cold
Zach was great. We didn’t eat just tasted and bought two cases. You need heaters at every table outside!!!!
Great wine and great service as usual! As the weather gets cooler, I would suggest installing heat lamps for outside seating where possible.
Would be great to have heat lamps on cooler days in the outdoor tent
I love how the staff always remembers you and treats you like family! It's my favorite part of being a member on top of great wine!
It was surprising to me that in the era of covid, the parking lot was uber packed and hard to find a parking spot in. It was my impression I could only taste with members of my family and no more than 5 people - although I was adhering to that, it appeared many other tables did not. Seemed like many people were meeting "friends" at the tasting room to get out of the house. Woodinville itself was like an ant hill and Milbrandt was not much different. The winery was having a benefit for a non-profit event that afternoon, but it was awfully busy, the service was the slowest I have seen in years of dining and wine tasting. The server practically disappeared on us, didn't really care what we thought about the wine nor did he chat with us about the wine/vineyards/varietals, etc. And then the line to check out was like a 5 people deep. Yeah, in the era of covid, a line of people snaking out of the tasting room, not 6 feet apart etc. Just baffling to me. But this was pretty much what we experienced all day long in Woodinville. Too many people, too busy, impartial service, and slow. Sad to see. I thought with the mandates in place, things would be a little slower and a little more personal.
This was a special event by appointment only. The server was very friendly and respectful.
What a wonderful place! Very thoughtful and attentive; great wines!
Made a reservation that specifically stated was for 45 mins only, but 30 mins in and we had to wait in a 20 mins line to ask any human to do a tasting. They were severely understaffed and it was very apparent. The staff did offer us a few extra tastes of a few things which helped but the tasting was only okay anyways so overall wouldn’t recommend. Pretty disappointing end to a great day tasting at some new places.
Great wine tasting experience! Staff was wonderful and really helpful
They were a little slow greeting and getting us seated even though we had a reservation. After that, we had great service and purchased 7 bottles of wine.
