My brother and myself both had fish tacos and they were quite average. For a place that I have frequented for many years (Milestones in general not just the Barrie location ) and usually quite enjoy the food. The fish itself had zero flavour and the fries as a side arrived cold, not even warm. It’s the first time my Brother and Sister agreed to dine at a restaurant since Covid and what a colossal disappointment.

Excellent food. Mushroom soup in particular was delicious. Service was excellent and all safety measures were followed accordingly. Felt very safe eating there. Will return. Thank you.

Food is pricey but comparable to everywhere else that is a dine in restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday. We have been to many different restaurants at the same level of dining and we were blown away at how amazing this place is. The service was great, the restaurant itself is stunning inside and the food was amazing; better than so many other restaurants we have been to in Barrie for the same price or even higher in cost. We can't stop raving about Milestones to everyone and we will definitely be making this our new date night spot!
(Also as for birthday desserts you get to choose from any of them off the menu which we have not seen before; the chocolate vanilla cheesecake is to die for)

Very enjoyable experience. Staff took COVID measures seriously and worked hard to create a relaxed dining experience. Food is always prepared as advertised, with quality ingredients and a very satisfying result.

Our server was great! The food and heated outdoor patio were also wonderful.
When we presented our “Open Table Dining Cheque”, the manger returned it saying it had expired since he thought it was a “coupon”, and the date was actually an EXPIRY date, instead of a “cheque” with a past ISSUED date.
Open Table restaurants need to be better educated about the difference between a “Dining Cheque” and a “coupon”.

We sat outside and few things went wrong with service. Waitress sat us a two seater when there was two four seaters available , didn’t bring side plates for Bruschetta, roasted potatoes raw, she forgot to tell us they were out of certain desserts which luckily we weren’t ordering those ones we changed our mind.

We're not new to Milestones. It's one of our favourite places to dine out with friends and family. Our server was really good. I found my wham-bam shrimp burger a little underwhelming. Sure the shrimp will kick any dish up a notch but I decided to simply eat the shrimp as if it were a side or an appetizer and then simply eat the burger. Without the shrimp, the burger was pretty unremarkable. The meat itself was a little overcooked (not very juicy) and the tomato looked a little old.

Anniversary

We enjoy Milestones. Normally we have no issues , a couple times minor hiccups but always quickly resolved by the restaurant staff/manager. This past weekend our sever was great and food super yummy. My only issue was with another server wearing his mask incorrectly ( scarf /bandana neck style) It was consistently well below his nose
( could see his lips) and he played with it constantly. He delivered my husband and sons salad and I was Very uncomfortable with that. I feel more education and masks provided for staff that fit would help. Also the hostess should require hand sanitizer by customers in front of them to assure it is done would help .

Good food decent service but they seated us next to the food door I was uncomfortable with that . I thought if I sneeze it will be all over everyone’s food

Our drink order was forgotten about, got our appetizers before our drinks but otherwise a good time

Our server Taylor was great. Food was great! Nice distance through out the restaurant.

I have eaten at Milestones many times but this time my California Spring Salad was not quite up to par. Some of the lettuce was wilted and the pieces of goat cheese were the size of golf balls. Not as good as usual. To contrast that the service and waitress were impeccable.

Originally had a patio reservation but had to move to dining room as it started raining quite heavily. Felt a bit hesitant to go indoors (due to Covid) but it was quite spacious and spaced out inside, and felt “safe” to do so after all.
Food was amazing, service was great!

We went for our anniversary but they sat us at a table by the entrance where everyone had to walk past when they entered the restaurant so wasn't very intimate. Also disappointed with the change to the menu as it no longer includes our favourite shrimp Diane. Also when ordering the pasta there isn't the option to order to garlic bread. However the food we did order was hot and tasty!

Everything was great!

We weren’t given the table we ordered for our reservation. 40 mins before our order was taken. Appetizer came out and mela behind it. Meal was cold by the time the appetizer was finished. Waiter didn’t check back if we wanted mor beverages we had to flag him down to ask for beverages.
Terrible customer service. I won’t be back.

I ordered the Lobster and prawn dish but i could barely find any lobster in this dish this time. I have previously ordered the same dish previously and it was good and tasty and i could actually see pieces of lobster. Not so, this time, it was disappointing.

Service was great. Was nice to eat inside after the months of lock down. A/C a little chilli. Please bring back the (Thai) Curry Bowl!!!! The basil Thai noodles dish is very bland. Everything else was good. Server was terrific, attentive and polite.

Hostess completely disregards your preferences about seating and was also very rude she seemed under trained. And being pregnant I couldn’t sit outside in the scorching heat and specifically told them that and she still just walked away leaving me at a couch not even a table and it also took our server over 20 minutes to take a drink order on a Tuesday. When the entire restaurant was empty. She was seen just talking to some other staff rather than paying attention to our table, extremely not impressed.

Great food, service, environment and COVID precautions!
