Milestones Grill + Bar - Waterloo

My wife and I regularly choose Milestones Waterloo as a place to go for a nice meal out. The food and service are always excellent. If you are looking for a place to go for a great night out, you can’t go wrong by choosing this restaurant.

The servers take extra care due to Covid. The servers act as a team and are very courteous and friendly . The food is always consistently of highest quality and served in a timely manner. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Went while Waterloo was in COVID-19 red zone, and the experience was definitely not what I was expecting!

Atmosphere: They had the restaurant limited to 10 patrons at a time, but instead of spreading everyone out across the restaurant, we were all seated at 4 tables in the bar area. The close-proximity seating plan resulted in an interesting trade off: the tables were 2m apart, so legally in the clear, but still might be too close for some during a pandemic; however, the dining experience seemed almost like normal since it gave the illusion of fullness in the restaurant that was 20% occupied.

Service: Outstanding service by three wait staff for four tables. Everyone was really attentive!

My Salmon/Shrimp salad was amazing. Both servers, Karen and Erin???? I think, did a great job.

I don't recommend taking the booth in the bar section. It's right at the bathroom hallway, so there's a ton of traffic.

Fries were a little underdone but the food, service and experience was fabulous. The Bellini bowl was amazing too!!

The extra precautions for health & safety protocols due to Covid19 regulations were OUTSTANDING - by far the best I've seen at any restaurant since indoor dining reopened after lockdown. The food was delicious, portions were generous, staff was friendly, alcoholic drinks were mixed well and I appreciated management checking to ensure our dinner was prepared to our liking. I highly recommend visiting next time you're looking for a dine in option!

Mushroom soup is always my favourite item to order.

The service was great. Our servers were quick and attentive. While the appetizer and dessert was amazing (highly recommend their signature double chocolate cookie with ice cream!!), the main dish we had (stuffed mushroom caps) were so-so. A little on the bland side. Could do better with more salt and seasoning. Overall though, the ambience and service was awesome, considering it seemed like a busy night. Covid measures were appropriate as well.

I have not been there in a while but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

Great food and a middle of the road pricing. Good place to be able to visit over a meal. At least on a Sunday afternoon there was not a lot of ambient noise, even though there were lots of people there. A wonderful dining experience.

I haven't been "out" for dinner since the beginning of the COVID lockdown, so this was a real treat for me. The service was excellent, and the precautions taken to ensure everyone's safety were very comprehensive. I had a great evening out, and a terrific meal too.

It was great to go out again and have an excellent meal . We thank our server for being so good to us .(Jessica ) she was wonderful!!! We always come to Milestones for a special occasion and more of course in Waterloo (the Boardwalk). We were also impressed with the care that was taken with the the Covid -19 concern and the guide lines that were followed .
Thank you again for making our 23rd wedding anniversary a special day. Just like all the others.

We enjoyed dinner on the patio. We had an entree with wine and coffee. The food was delicious and done exactly as we asked.

Loved, loved, loved the sea bass that we ordered. Highly recommend it!

Milestones is Great Place to Kick Back and relax .They were very busy so slower than usual, but it was a nice sunny day so no Complaints. Food was very Good . Had Taken Our Family of 6 Day before and again busy but quicker and the Food was Great. Their Mimosas are 😎.

We were hoping to be on the Patio but we phoned that day and of course it was booked.
We had a great table inside and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Excellent service and experience as always thanks to Dan and his team! Our waiter Ben did a fantastic job explaining all the safety protocols and catering to our needs, and was very friendly. We ordered 3 eggs benny (one traditional and two Cali), 2 orders of French toast (banana Nutella and a custom strawberry Nutella combo) plus coffees and teas, and everything was delicious. Grateful we were able to have such a fun and safe experience!

Although somewhat limited, the brunch menu offers a delectable selection, with good value for money

The hostess was very thorough in her explanation of the Covid19 health and safety measures the restaurant and staff had put in place. Menu had great selections. The food was delicious!

Overall everything was good. Service was quick and order was correct.

Service was personable and prompt without being intrusive. Food was excellent overall but particularly for taste and presentation. Quantity was right. Outdoor patio had a pleasant ambience. The over-hanging roof made the threat of rain less concerning.

Always a pleasant time at this Milestones. Was very reluctant at first because of the location - it is right in-front of a busy street, in a busy shopping area. BUT there are too many good things that overlook this fact. I've now been here many times - for brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks, desserts, you name it! I've never had a less-than-pleasant host, or bad food and drinks. My go-to place.
