Milos Greek Taverna Ltd.
So enjoyed dining at Milos - the food, service & atmosphere was exceptional! We'll definitely be going back!
A very enjoyable unrushed experience. Food delicious.
We sat in the outside upper-deck. It was spacious and not over-crowded with tables. The view of Harrison Lake and the mountains was outstanding. I had the chicken souvlaki and my husband had the mousaka. Both meals were delicious, made to perfection and generous in portions. We had enough for a second meal. The restaurant was packed upstairs and only two servers were working with the help of several busboys. Despite that, the staff kept everything moving...they were attentive, polite and timely. Meals were average price and they also carried our favorite Greek wine...Tsantali Retsina! What is Greek food without the Greek wine?
We were celebrating our 14th anniversary and we had a completely rude waiter. The appetizer tasted awful. It was old greasy oil on the calamari and when we pointed it out and couldn’t eat it the waiter just made excuses and wanted to argue there was nothing wrong with it. We paid 13.00 for a dish we couldn’t eat. It was disgusting and deplorable. I will never go there or recommend this place to anyone.
Our server seemed to have too many tables to cover and that caused her to be a little abrupt.
Ribbs were great. Greek salad bland and not what a greek salad should taste like
Food was beyond amazing. However our server seemed rushed and even when he checked on our table he did it on passing without actually even stopping at our table.
And the restaurant was not busy.
Although Milos has done some renovation, we were a bit disappointed by the overall. Love the reservation on line system, brilliant! The hostess on the patio seemed frazzle but nice. The serving staff do not look professional, their uniform (not sure there's one) as their shirts didn't look iron, or crisp and the skirt could be use more for going out to the bar along with the "gogo" boots, the girls hair not tidy and messy. But very nice and attentive to the table. There is no music on the patio, which for a Greek restaurant that's one of the thing that puts soooo much ambiance in the restaurant. I think that the bathroom were not renovated and looked dirty and not tidy at all, more like a gas station bathroom.
The food was very good, small portion on the tzatziki sauce to go with the big plate portion. A little steep on the prize of a 9oz glass of red wine.
In was nice to try something "new/different" in Harrison but won't rush back to dine at Milos, which is unfortunate as Greek food is one of my favourite.
Thank you and all the best this summer.
The ambience is good and authentically Greek. The service was good. The food was not hot so not as enjoyable. The feta used was crumbled and cow not goat.
First time at Milos. I ordered the Mousaka. The most amazing dish! Totally recommend this restaurant. Can’t wait for the upper level patio to open!
