   The food at M and M is always amazing. Service is also friendly and attentive. On this one occasion it was a little over attentive and we felt that we were being over hurried to finish and clear. Disappointing to have unwelcome music in an otherwise lovely room.

   We ate early so were the only ones in the restaurant for the first 20 minutes of dining. The host greeted us immediately and was very friendly. The menu had a good selection and prices were reasonable. The host asked us exactly how long we wished to wait for food, if we would like it immediately on in 15 minutes. The food was presented well and was genuinely the best curry I have ever had! It was delicious. Just the right amount of spice and temperature was served just as I liked. We were asked if our meal was satisfactory and offered the dessert menu after our table was cleared. More people started to enter the restaurant from 6pm which meant the ambiance improved. Such a lovely place with friendly servers and a delicious meal. Will definitely be returning again.

   Excellent as always, great tasting food, perfect portion size. Loved the new addition to the menu, red hot hunters lamb. Service faultless, a great welcome & great care taken throughout. Prices reasonable for such good quality food. Would definitely recommend. A lack of photos because we were enjoying the meal too much to take any!

   I reserved a table or myself my wife and 13yo granddaughter at 18.00 (after a visit to the New Theatre). The show finished earlier than planned and we arrived at the Mint and Mustard at 17.30 and were welcomed. We ordered our drinks and food that arrived with poppadoms and three dips were well made and tasty as was the three main meals with rice, dahl and garlic naan. Excellent meal will return soon.

    Very delicious food-most probably the best Indian in Cardiff. Always recommend the Mint and Mustard. Also the only restaurant that we have found that serves King Cobra-double fermented. We had the last two bottles but were assured that more were on order!

    Had a lovely meal with delicious starters of Keralan Tiger Prawns and Tandoori Cauliflower Wings. These were followed by a very good lamb coconut curry and a slightly disappointing beef curry. Service was excellent, being very friendly and efficient.

    Great food. The whole evening was very relaxed and pleasant. No issues with the service at all. I’d recommend Mint and Mustard for a slightly different curry. For example, the swordfish curry was delicious.

    Food not as good as on previous visits. Bombay Chaat and bhajees were delicious but daal was runny with very little flavour, and the Highway Chicken was boring! Music was rather loud when we arrived but it was turned down at our request.

    Really lovely meal. The menu is some what different from the regular curry house. But everything we had was tasty. My son only eats Keema Nan, there was non on the menu. So we had chilli coriander Nan. It was amazing & would be ordering this again. Staffs were very friendly and helpful! Outstanding food!!

    We have visited this restaurant many times but the previous high quality of food was not evident. Our grilled main course was dry and inedible and my ‘Highway Curry’ a gloopy sweet pint of tomato sauce infused with 5 dry pieces of chicken

    Lovely welcome. Excellent service and very polite staff. The food was full of flavour and absolutely delicious. We had two chicken curries and one lamb curry and the meat was so tender. We will definitely go there again.
