Loved eating here. Drink menu was incredible and the appetizers were phenomenal. A real stand out was the short rib quesadilla. Entrees were good but not as exceptional as the small plates.
Service was shockingly bad. Took 20 minutes after sitting for someone to bring water, not taking an order. A little while later, someone comes to take our order and while we were ready to order both drinks and food they didn't even give us a chance to get to the food before dashing off. About 45 minutes after seating we get to give our food order. A short while later another server (we were never sure who our server was all night, and it was confusing even if it was by committee) came to take our food order and we told them we'd already ordered. Then a THIRD server came and asked us for our food order that we had to tell we already ordered. In the middle of food we ordered our second drinks to go along with our incoming entrees, and had to sit (no exaggeration) 20 minutes for them to bring two beers (one just the can and a glass that was way to big for the can's worth of beer... a place this "nice"/expensive should at least have appropriate glassware).
Both our cocktails were super unbalanced. The food just wasn't very good either. Ceviche was fresh enough seafood but really just soaked in lime with no interesting taste, the grilled oysters' flavor was just obliterated by the chili butter topping, tacos were fine, and we got this tostada with uni and truffle that was hard to finish, just felt like they threw fancy ingredients on top that didn't blend well at all (uni plus truffle plus avocado is so much thick richness, and the fish wasn't there at all). We almost laughed when they asked us if we wanted to order dessert, we felt unwelcome by both the staff and the food.
There are so many good restaurants with great service in LA, but we were really hoping for a cool different Mexican spot near where we live. This place needs to get way better to be anything but another one of those overpriced spots in Beverly Hills that coasts on an idea of trendiness its food can't back. The space was gorgeous, though.
Food was okay. Seating in back of restaurant was empty and weird vibe. Would not return.
Our server could have been more attentive, but the food was inventive and delicious!
Everything was exceptional
Fabulous fried chicken taco one of the best tacos I have ever had. Their special salad was amazing. Our server kevin was the right amount of attentive. Other main courses very expensive
Food isn’t good but the ambiance is good
Have been here a few times but this last time the good quality was not the same and the value is horrible. $31 for a cup of salad is just insane! Coffee was super cold when it was meant to be hot. Orders arrived at different times, I received my dinner 30 mins after my friends order arrived. The quesadilla had way too much cheese. I feel like we got ripped off. Bad food, bad quality and way too expensive for what you get.
waiter was training another person - a little awkward. A ceviche was recommended that did not go over well with the person who ordered.
Nothing but amazing food. Every plate is a work of art from the ingredient inside to the way it was plated. Most Mexican cuisine is messy or all just mixed into a casserole or bowl. Each plate was beautiful. I was able to eat my food with my hands in Beverly Hills without making a mess. I look forward to returning soon to show my friends this amazing restaurant.
Best. Meal. EVER. You MUST go! Fabulous flavors, great service.
Service was atrocious. Waiter brought out a brand of scotch without asking. The bartender came out & asked about a drink and still got it wrong. Hostesses ignored us & then took a long time to seat us. Then no one came to ask us for our drinks. When they did it was screwed up. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks & the waiter wanted to take our food before our drinks arrived. When my tequila came it two items & the waiter left before explaining what it was.
Food was great, very complex & flavorful. Fix the rest of the restaurant. Should also have hostesses explain that you are not a typical Mexican restaurant. Three groups left because you didn’t have normal Mexican food. We knew that coming in.
Partnership strategy meeting
Bad food bad service don’t recommend it
Every dish was loaded with exceptional flavors. This food is as good as it gets in the USA.
If you like flavor you will not be disappointed! In LA this is a must for the foodies. Chef is great.
Wish it were more vegan friendly. The salad has too many crunchy ingredients and too much dressing. The burrata was great though an odd choice for Mexican. Hope they improve the food. Great atmosphere
An innovative menu of great drinks and truly special food in a comfortable, sophisticated environment. This was my second visit...and I plan to be a regular.
Overpriced even for Beverly Hills
The food is good but not great
I wouldn’t go again because it isn’t worth it. They need to make their menus more descriptive and focus less on liquor and more on food quality
Lovely place! Great atmosphere. Service was very attentive. The drinks were inventive and tasty but a little expensive. Food was a wonderful fusion of Mexican and the seafood that was used was fresh and tasty!
Service was not good... they brought my food out so late. By the time I got it the rest of the table was done eating
Fun dinner with my girls!
They were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The back patio is very cute and cozy. I would definitely go back!
Meh. Nothing special and all the tacos too fried and oily.
Food is mediocre at best and overpriced. Manager overbooks tables and gives you a time limit
Everything was amazing! Food was delicious and the portion sizes were pretty large. The cocktail program is also top notch. The beverage director is very friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure to ask about their specialty bottles of mezcal for sale.
We LOVED this place. Went for brunch and will be coming back. The coffee is different level and the food is beyond fantastic. Service staff is impeccable.
The food and service was good. Our only complaint was that the tables seemed a little close together and we were not thrilled that the servers were not wearing gloves and kept touching our silverware.
This is more 'mexican fusion' so dont expect a Javier's or Frida experience. It is however excellent. Try the burrata appetizer and the fried salmon skin - which looks a little odd on presentation but is absolutely delicious. The service and atmosphere is great here too. Ask for a table close to the open fire.
Saara our server made the experience wonderful. Mirame is beautiful restaurant and the food superb. Mirame takes dining outdoors on a whole other level. Overall, Saara our server went above and beyond. We’re definitely coming back and sharing this experience to our friends and family to enjoy!!!!
From the waiters to the owner Matt, they were on point with there service. Drinks were exotic and the food had texture with lots of flavoring.
We will be back soon 😋 thank you!
Btw ambiance was insane as well
Chef Josh is quite possibly the most creative chef were going to see these next few years. Pretentious is what describes alot of restaurants, Not Mirame. Every dish had unique components that when melded together as you chew creates such a specific nuanced flavor, it is an uncompromised, non pretentious, exciting meal and experience that youll never want to go to another restaurant ever again. Mirame easily takes the cake in the Beverly Hills area as the most creative yet simple restaurant in 2020.
The food was just not worth the price.
Ambiance and experience was superb. Great service, food and drink quality was exceptional. Would definitely go back.
Such a great new spot in Beverly Hills. You definitely get an upbeat lively vibe, with a colorful and fun menu.
Over priced food. Would not return. Limited menu.
Their menu was different and interesting. Slightly expensive but it’s Beverly Hills so... we were there until he afternoon sort of like in between lunch and dinner so didn’t get a full food menu. Just go drinks and some seviche and chips and salsa it tasted good. The potions are small. It’s a chill vibe for drinks overall.
This used to be the old gratitude. They did a cute job redecorating it.
I loved all of the mezcal drink options!
Horrible. Bad food and slow service.
