Great vibe and quality food. Loved our dinner. Thanks
Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.
The food, cocktails and service were all amazing. My friends and I had a lovely, fun afternoon and the best experience.
Half of the food that came out was cold where as the other half was piping hot and the service was average. Personally found the linguine very good however, the other people that had it found it quite bland.
We love Miss Moneypenny's but last nights dinner was disappointing. The Wagyu steaks were expensive and came out almost cold. I had the plant based option of twice cooked cauliflower. It was served borderline cold, almost raw with no spiced yogurt, 3 currants, and 5 chickpeas. Seeing as though it is the only plant based option on the menu, I felt it could have had more appeal. I was so excited for this meal but it was a real letdown, an afterthought.
Will rethink before dining there again.
Very noisy to point you can’t easily talk to others. Food ok but far from great
Outstanding as always, food was spectacular. Special occasion for my daughters 16th, we all had a great time.
Service was exceptional, food delicious, wide choice of beverages. Fabulous time.
I don’t usually give reviews but felt compelled to provide feedback on this experience. The starter bread resembled burnt toast leftover from breakfast. One of the meals never arrived as the waitress forgot to order it. The lamb pizza was sloppy and inedible and the the chicken wasn’t properly cooked through. Restaurant was extremely noisy partially due to an event at front and my mum resorted to wearing ear plugs. We didn’t bother with desserts as the selection was rather meagre. The focus seems to be more on the cocktail bar than the food element and this was certainly reflected in the quality. Very disappointing experience
Opulence and decadent. Highly attentive staff and cuisines. If you want to experience excellence in all aspects,
then Miss Money-pennies will exceed all your expectations.
This place was nice, lovely waitress, good ambience but a couple of issues from my perspective. They didn’t have a high chair which was strange considering lots of families frequent Noosa Hastings Street. As such I couldn’t have a relaxing evening as I was too busy watching / making sure my little girl doesn’t fall off the chair. Secondly we ordered the twice cooked cauliflower (being vegetarian) which was basically boiled or steamed cauliflower with no seasoning or taste. I couldn’t even finish the dish, that’s how tasteless it was. However the 4 other dishes ordered by our group were delicious , the only compliant from them was the servings could have been bigger. Would go again but perhaps with no kids and definitely wouldn’t order the cauliflower.
We had a great night..food was delicious we had beef wag for starters which were tender & tasty..then barra for main which was cooked to perfection with crunchy skin! The ambience was a mix up between a bar feel with loud music that made it had 2 hard 2 talk 2 ea other but packed so maybe this works..
We had an amazing bottomless lunch on Sunday, food and drinks were perfect and service was amazing! We’ll be back!
Really nice and really fast service! Will be back again for sure
It was great - good vibe as well and cocktails were very delicious. Wagu skewers a bit small.
Great restaurant, definitely try the bbq prawns and beef skewers!
Understand there was a 2 hour time limit before arriving, but
mains were called a long time after eating entrees and we were asked to leave almost immediately after finishing.
Quality of linguine pasta and fish pie were sub par for cost.
Waitress was lacking for an establishment you pay very good money for.
2 items we ordered were 'sold out'
This should have been outlined well before deciding our meals.
Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere. Was a bit disappointed with the timing of our food coming out. 2 people got there food and had finished there meals when the other 2 peoples food came out. Ordered a bottle of wine and got the glasses but took over 20 minutes for the bottle to come out. Food was delicious though.
Miss Moneypenny’s won’t disappoint. Great cocktails and fantastic service, don’t miss the kingfish entre, it’s amazing!
The food was fantastic and great value for money. The ambiance and decor were great and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend for a night out with friends or someone special.
First of all I have to point out the excellent service. The waiters were fantastic. The food was good but I found it overpriced for what we got. We had the degustation menu incl. wine. Also I just want to mentioned that you might serve too much wine and could safe quite a bit of money serving less. We got 5 full glasses of wine which in my opinion was way too much and I couldn’t drink it all. And last but not least I found it quite disappointing that our friends were not allowed in due to their tattoos. I mean common it’s 2021! My husband and I spent $360 and our friend would have spent the same amount but spent their money elsewhere.
First time back here in about 4 years and the food wasnt as amazing as last time. Still a nice night out but wasnt blown away.
Service was great ! I love the open spacious natural design the music the lighting but most importantly the fresh and delicious meals. I sampled about 5 dishes. I had a few dietary requirements but this was not an issue. Will definitely be back
Great food and lighting/ambiance but the music was really loud and I kept having to ask my wife what she was saying!
Food and cocktails are first class, love Miss Moneypennys
Not a dining experience I would ever want to repeat. The level of non-stop music and general noise was such that it was impossible to hold a reasonable conversation. The young wait-staff were friendly and well-trained, but the food was not up to the level of the prices. The lobster linguini was quite good, with a tasty sauce, but some pieces of lobster were a bit sub-standard. The wagyu beef rump, however, was not worth the price of $49: it was somewhat gristly and hard to chew, and there were virtually no accompaniments. I think also that a restaurant at this price level should provide linen napkins.
Food was fantastic. Cocktails & drinks great. Staff very friendly.
We will be back.
Very good food and good value. Wine list extensive if a bit on the expensive side.
There was one vegetarian/vegan choice. It was supposed to be twice baked cauliflower.
Apart from being just cooked it was a very bland meal. How can you put this out as a comparably priced meal next to barramundi and meat. It was 2 $37 meals that were
truly forgetable except that i won't forget them. They will stand up next to a plateful of pumpkin we had once or a salad hastily thrown into a Wok.
Very overpriced. Also did not enjoy the ambience night due to being seated next to a loud group, even though there was many more tables, they sat us next to them.
The service was poor, we had to remind the wait staff to bring us our drinks a few times and then we got charged for an extra glass that we didn’t order. The place was full of drunken rowdy men and it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. The food was a mix, great “bites” and entree but the mains were nothing special and the desert was poorly executed - my wife ordered the panna cotta with rhubarb and it tasted like something you would get at a supermarket and the rhubarb was tough and undercooked. For the price we paid we expected much more.
Great night out, slick venue, sublime food and the best cocktails
Prices charged at higher end of scale so for that I don’t expect yahooing at the bar which impacted other diners
Food and service was good but the rest disappointing
Overall, I would say we had an ok experience. We ordered cocktails very shortly after we arrived, and ordered a bottled of wine to go with our meal not long afterwards. Our first course was delivered, as was the wine before our cocktails. I ended up cancelling my cocktail after finishing our first course as they hadn't started making them yet. My husband got his just before our second course was served. I understand they were busy, but we felt they were a bit confused as to whether they were trying to be a cocktail bar that served food, or a restaurant with too many cocktails on their list. The music was very loud, possibly trying to cover up a very loud group at the front of the venue, but we had trouble hearing our waitress, let alone each other! The vibe of the music suited the venue perfectly, it was just a bit much! The food was good, the Barramundi was outstanding, and the wine list suited the menu really well.
Great food, atmosphere was a little noisy and the service was 5 star. Do yourself a favour and have the kingfish entree, you won’t regret it!
Was seeking an intimate romantic quiet dinner with a Martini and my Miss MoneyPenny. Found some of the crowd a bit too feral and bogan with young backpackers and a bit noisy so not the right ambience for conversation. Also didnt appreciate being told by young Q on arrival that we would have to be out by 9pm. Not exactly charismatic and charming emotional intelligence. But we did enjoy the Dry Martini, Waygy beef and chocolate brownie dessert. Cheers
I thought the food was good
Service just ok
Not quite good enough for an up market pricey restaurant
Cool trendy and happening spot on Hastings Street. Very popular spot for cocktails & drinks.
Lovely open air / indoor-outdoor feel; nice ambiance.
Great service from start to finish.
Wonderful food- my “stretched stracciatella” was a highlight, as was the “slipper lobster linguine”.
The chocolate brownie was incredible- we shared it to finish the meal - perfection.
We had the set menu and it was excellent. Highly recommend
Great food and service. Quite noisy due to the open plan. They did warn us of a large booking and that it would be noisy, which was really great of them. We still went ahead with our booking, but in hindsight if they gave us the option again we would book at a quieter time.
