yœt it was good. Taco. Tequila.
Overall a decent experience. The food was good and the drinks plentiful. Service could’ve been better, but it was ok - we just had long waits for someone to check on us and then long waits for the refills as well. I feel like what is offered is well worth the price and I’d definitely come back.
Too loud. Food was pretty salty. Service was slow.
Fantastic food and service. Noise level inside from the bar area was ear splitting. It’s so loud that it carries into the dining area: Will definitely go back to eat again but only if we can sit outside and avoid the noise.
Great experience with a vibrant crowd. Food was excellent as well as the service. Only negative was the “pitcher” of Margaritas quite small and light on the Alcohol. We ordered the DuPont that was supposed to have Grand Manier, floaters. No way there were 4 shots of GM
I have enjoyed dinner service at Mission before — so when I visited for brunch, I was hoping for the same experience, but instead I was underwhelmed. Particularly, the food lacked flavor and left a lot to be desired. I’d recommend brunching outdoors if possible because the alcohol-heavy unlimited brunch makes the small indoors dining area quite loud. Wait staff was very friendly. Will be returning for dinner but not brunch.
Overall, it was good; however, the drinks were basically water (4 pitchers later we all couldnt tell we had anything to drink at all!) the hostest was irritated or something and came off confrontational when asked a simple question as to whether or not we could be seated early. The food was really good but the service and friendliness of staff didnt agree with prior reviews we read. Would order to go on Ubereats, but not sure I would return in person.
Wonderful dinner at Mission DuPont! Margaritas were strong and delicious. Quick and attentive service, despite a bustling dining room. Connor, our server, was a rockstar. Carne asada steak cooked to perfection, and the salmon was delicious! Will be back ASAP!
Tickets for drinks were lost. We had to wait a long time to get a drink. Staff never came to the table to offer us water. Food was tasty but staff and service a bit low for the price they asked.
Phil was amazing and personable!! The kitchen sent out 1 slightly different order and the MOD and Phil were quick to fix it! Great time all around.
Everything was fantastic! Good music, great food, awesome service.
This one of the highlights of my trip to Dupont Circle. We ate outside and it was such a lovely atmosphere under the lights. Perfect for a date or a night out with friends. The food was delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were so good we ate the whole basket before our food arrived! 10/10 rating for the pitcher of margs and 11/10 for a wonderful evening!
The food was great! My waiter was great! The noise was unbearable and I could not even hear my own voice. My friends and I were hanging out talking at the table as they began to pre-bus our table. I was about to ask for more soda but the runner took my glass without asking. The waiter seemed very annoyed at the situation. We didn’t order alcohol and the groups around us had been at the bar already. So I’m assuming, they couldn’t make anymore money off of us. They were just trying to force us out.
Overall the food and waiter were great. The other staff were rude and inconsiderate.
My friend got sick from the gluten free options on the menu even though we did notify the waiter of the allergy.
Waiter was great! The chips were really good, tacos were pretty good. Free tequila shot with a taco flight on Tuesdays was a good deal.
Music is way too loud, in the middle of dinner the lights went off in the dining room to turn the place into a club. Food was good, drinks were good. Service was slow but we have a good time overall.
Great casual place with inside & outside dining centrally located in DC
Food was mediocre and priced higher than other brunches in area, for what customer received. The food was bland with not much taste. Only good if you want to get a buzz on (icy) pitchers of margaritas, eat chips/salsa.
Great food, great music. This spot is ideal for a fun date night that won’t break your pockets
Great food and service, but it may have been the loudest restaurant I’ve ever been to. Fun energy but extremely loud.
Fantastic food! We will be back many, many times. The music was exceptionally (and perhaps unnecessarily?) loud, however.
Just "eh." It wasn't bad, but nothing really stood out to us.
The restaurant held my table even though I was late. Was so appreciative. Food was excellent!
Margaritas were too sour. Food took forever and was not hot upon arrival. Beer was not very cold. Burrito and enchiladas very average to below average. Noisiest place I’ve ever been to in DC. The elotes sticks are good. Waiter was nice but overwhelmed. Needs new management - great potential but nothing clicks.
The service was terrible. Our server never returned to ask if we would like a second round of drinks or chips and salsa as we waiting on our entrees. And, the staff began bussing the table removing water and water glasses without asking and while we were waiting on our check. Clearly, they were looking for a quick turn around. Many other options in area with the same quality food with much better service.
Good food but slow service and waaaaay too loud in there
It was too loud. Our waitress was hardly there and we had to remind her to bring our tequila shots. The mission margarita was basically watered down margarita mix. It was way too loud to have any type of conversation.
However, the tacos were well made with high quality ingredients.
I love Mission. Their brunch is amazing and I always take my friends there. Our server this time was not great. We sat down and got water in about 10 mins. We put our drink order in and it took a good 10-15 mins for those, which as annoying because she wanted our 2 hour limit to end from the time we sat down, yet we waited 20+ mins for anything bottomless. Otherwise, great food and drinks as usual!
The food, taco, was delicious. Very glad we were seated outside as inside the noise level was deafening.
I planned a brunch for a friends birthday celebration and it was nothing short of amazing. Gabriella was our server and she was nothing short of perfect. Everything went off without an issue and my glass was never empty. I enjoyed my brunch tacos (steak and eggs) and the guacamole was phenomenal. The ambiance was delightful with both urban music and a eclectic mix of patrons. Loved it! Will come back! Thank you Gabriella!
Food was excellent! Chips and salsa were fresh and tasty!
Great food! I would consider it “modern Mexican” food. They are adaptable with the menu options. The Dr. Peoper was “oddly and almost seemed like an imitation we didn’t feel the need to bring this to the staff’s attention though. The service was intermittent but friendly. Would definitely go back. Cool vibe.
The food was AMAZING! Like, REEEEEALLY GOOD!!! After work for happy hour/early dinner it’s incredibly loud inside. I don’t know that I’ve ever been to a noisier restaurant. As we waited for our table, I almost chose to leave it was so loud. Glad I stayed, the food was worth it. Maybe not the best place for “date night”, but if want to take a group of loud and rowdy friends for good food - this is the place!
Decent happy hour specials (try the mission margarita pitcher), VERY loud even away from the bar in the restaurant
I did appreciate how quickly we were seated with our reservation.
Great food, a bit noisy and crowded but fun had by all!
Will go again.
Nice place. Table server was excellent as well as the bar team but the team who met us at the door seemed not skilled at handling busy nights. We did not have a reservation. The team took our name and number and told us it would be 45 min. After 30, I signed up for first table available on Open Table--additional 45 min. The team never called us for our first reservation. After 1+15 we were seated. Thank you open table. Bottomline, even during the week, have a reservation. Food was ok. Environment was loud and energetic. Probably wouldn't pull us back again but good for a night out if you want to hang out at the bar!
Typically I’ve always enjoyed my experiences at Mission but this most recent one was ruined by a very rude server who barely paid attention to us and repeatedly tried to rush us out despite the fact that we had reservations.
Went here for their Sunday Brunch and it was fantastic! The food is delicious and for the price, you get a generous amount of things for bottomless. Highly recommend for a date or outing with friends.
We ate inside around 5:30 on a Saturday night. Got together with friends to catch up, however, we could not hear one another talk, the noise level was horrible, no fun at all. Food was mediocre, taco portions were decent, but flavor was unmemorable. Salsa tasted like a canned tomatoes. We did have an excellent server, wish we got her name. Would not recommend or return to this restaurant.
I had been before and remembered the food to be much better. We did not like the dishes we ate at all and will not go back
