We made advanced reservations and were anticipating a delicious meal. When we arrived we were told that there is a $24 minimum per person including children. When we were seated they have a limited menu because of the holiday (New Years was 2 nights before), I asked why nothing was mentioned on line or when we made the required reservations, the reply was a shoulder shrug. So basically we went out for expensive pizza n pasta (4 plates to chose from).
The food was ok. We ordered Belgian waffle for dessert and it wasn’t even a freshly made waffle!! Very disappointing.

Entree was dry.

Chocolate Lava Cake Birthday cake, tasted a few days old.

Manager never checked in to see how our service was.

prices were very reasonable and food was delicious . Service was fantastic as my date and I talked and laughed with our waitress about what menu items were most popular and what she liked. Wait time was good (although honestly wasn't paying much attention) . Good ambiance and not to noisy (could be because of COVID). The rule with COVID was only not to wear a mask at your own table. I really enjoyed the open kitchen and all staff wore masks.

The food was delicious and so well presented!

Our waiter was really nice, efficient and helpful. The food was great. It was our first time eating out in a very long time and had a great experience. I will say they do nickel and dime you, charging extra without telling us when we asked for garlic Mayo on the side. Additionally, be aware of the 20% tip automatically included on the bill.

I made reservations for two. When the couple got there they were told that since it was just for dessert they could not have a table and would have to sit on the bench. They were told that in order to get a table they each have to order an appetizer which they ended up doing. I was disappointed as nowhere on the reservation does it specify that tables are for ordering dinner/appetizers. I'm not sure why they couldn't have a table just for dessert in the middle of the afternoon. However, at least put it on the website so there's no misunderstanding in the future.

I don't have time....but it was a nice time. I don't see why there is a 20 percent tip already included. A tip.is to ensure good service. What happened to 15 percent standard if they do a decent job? I don't like this whole too included thing. This is the seeds of socialism sprouting.

The best food in the tri-state area!!! A must for any anniversary!

All of our choices, except for one, was missing flavor. When you spend $55 for a dish, you want it to be awesome. And at one point, a gentleman behind the counter was berating a server loud enough that we heard it. That was so inappropriate.

We made a reservation for outdoors and the only table available, had no light nor outdoor heater. We had to wait 20 minutes before a waiter came to our table to give us menu/take our order and then 40 minutes for our soup to arrive. Once our main dish arrived, the pizza was cold but the pasta dish was warm. They added a 20% gratuity for service that was not deserving of 20% and then the maître d apologized that he only had two waiters that night (which was nice to hear an apology) but I find it hard to believe this wouldn't have happened any other night even with another waiter available.
It was unfortunate since the food is not cheap and we were just trying to have a nice evening out.

Showed up on time for my reservations shortly after the restaurant opened for the night. Reservations that had been made 4 days prior. I was told there was no table available and I could wait 40 minutes. I had made reservations for me and my friends some traveling from over an hour away. Once seated we were offered no water and the waiter promptly walked away. After waiting another 40 minutes for some one to take our order I walked up to a server and requested to speak with a manager. We finally had a waitress come to the table to take our order and were told the manager was not in. On a night that was so chaotic and crazy the manager was no where to be found!? We then proceeded to wait another almost hour for our food. Some of our order never to be brought out. When it came to tipping we had no option but pay the 18% automatically added tip. For the non kosher party members it was a real embarrassment that this is their experience of a kosher restaurant. I don’t understand how a place like this still brings in customers. Blown away by the terrible service.

They owe me $30 from my last time I was there. They never gave me the money back.

Terrible in every way- food was nothing special and overpriced. Service was awful with the server announcing that the kitchen closes at 9:15 (even though open table allows you to make reservations until 9:15) and rushing us through the meal! They even shut the lights and cleared the table before we were finished eating. Additionally we made reservations to eat outdoors by the heading lamps, the server made it seem as if there were no such option, when pressed she made up some story about the wind knocking over a heating lamp and the outdoor area being closed that evening. Overall very disappointing experience

Some foods were brought too quickly and not heated up or cooked enough.

The food ans and ambiance was great ! The service was very slow our server couldn’t b found at one point when I saw at the oven our fold was ready and while we were eating our appetizer a server was coming around with a plastic tray collecting things from the table we had not even eaten yet and he was cleaning off our table besides that being very not professional it was a turn off with those busboy plastic trays collecting plates and cutlery ! This could have been because it was a Saturday night and they were taking the last diners an hour after we started and wanted to go home on time not sure why as we always had a really nice experience in the restaurant before

not all outdoor tables have heaters. Wait staff is assigned indoor and outdoor tables which means you have to wait for a waiter to come back outside which could be a long wait.

We maid a reservation and they made us sit outside not in a sofa with no warmer. They did not transfer us. They have bad service. The waiter was nice and did a good job. But I don’t think they need to charge for 20% service fee! It’s crazy!

Food wasnt good.
They said the outdoor seating is heated. The heaters were more for looks than warmth.
We made a desert order that was never made.
Overall, i wasnt impressed with Mocha Bleu with the prices that they had.
I will not be returning anytime soon and i will not be recommending.

I found it offensive that they added a mandatory 20% gratuity to the bill. I had brought cash with me, specifically to tip the waiter in cash so that they would not be taxed on their well-earned tip. But unfortunately, because I paid the food bill with a credit card and there was a mandatory 20% gratuity on the card, I wasn’t given the autonomy as the customer to make that decision. We were a party of 2. I understand how this is necessary with large parties. And I’m sympathetic to the economic challenges facing restaurants. Even so, I found it in such poor taste for the restaurant to do that.

Food, as always, was very good. There were lots of bees (I know, the town sprayed, so they came out of hiding, but Moca could have also sprayed & had bee traps). You were not crowded, so we felt the service was very slow..AND 3 were served right away, the 4th waited..

We sat outside the bees were swarming in us I read that bees hate the smell of merigolds they are cheap enough but some and put them in thise flower boxes the plants u have attracted more bees made it Very unpleasant

Food is great and really delicious but they may add more waiters because I was waiting 45 minutes for my food to come out. And when it did come out it was room temperature since it must have been sitting in the kitchen waiting until the waiter was available to come get it. There was one waiter servicing the entire inside part of the restaurant. No wonder the food was cold when we got it! Instead of making us a new dish they went and rewarded it for us! Overall your food is great when served on time.

Request to sit outside near restaurant or you will be placed in a dark alley with poor service. Sad experience.

Although the waiter was nice, he messed up two of our orders. This seems to happen every time we come to your restaurant.

Staff was humorous and exceptional. Food was super fresh vibrant and unique. Definitely coming again.

The food was good. Problem was there was a dj. Music too loud when we asked to turn it down he emphatically said no. The music was not suitable for a kosher restaurant at all. Then he played music with in appropriate foul language. And we were told there is no manager around so no one did anything about it our waiter who was superb and tried but sad that dj did not listen

Had a delicious lunch and a delightful experience despite the extremely hot day. The salads were crisp and fresh, original, and dressings were tasty. The hubs had the frozen mocha to cool off and thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to better times, indoor dining, and trying more of the fusion menu! It was hot and getting late, the take home macaron were worth the calories for sure!

Thursday night they have music. It was so loud that you could not hear the person next to you. We went over to maitre de to ask them to lower music and they refused.

The food was great but, our server did not feel like she needed to do anything for us since the tip is mandatory and included in your bill.
Another reason for the four star was that the music was so loud I could hardly hear my husband speak. We came late so about 20 minutes into our meal the music shut off which was perfect for us

We had a terrible server. Our experience was horrible. The artichokes we ordered were not fully cooked. Our server did not clear any of our plates. When we asked her about the 20% tip that was automatically added to our bill and would have been fine if she left it at that a law was added and was the restaurants choice to add; but then she said because "the Jews don't tip" and Teaneck is a very big and well known Jewish community, followed by calling other restaurants other than Mocha Bleu being mundande. Overall terrible experience, terrible server. Will not be coming back here again

The food was bland and subpar for the elderly expensive prices. My husband’s fish wasn’t cooked through. My daughter’s pasta sauce was plain oil. My other daughter’s pasta sauce was worse than bottled sauce. The ambiance and service was fine, but Aa for these very expensive prices — we expected at least decent food.
